In this study, the impact of ultrasound irradiation on the structural characteristics and antioxidant properties of yellow tea polysaccharides with different molecular weights (Mw) were investigated. Native yellow tea polysaccharide containing YTPS-3N, YTPS-5N and YTPS-7N were prepared through precipitation with ethanol at various concentrations of 30%, 50%, and 70%, respectively, and irradiated with high intensity ultrasound (20 kHz) for 55 min to yield yellow tea polysaccharide including YTPS-3U, YTPS-5U and YTPS-7U. The molecular weight (Mw) of YTPS-3N (from 37.7 to 15.1 kDa) and YTPS-5N (from 14.6 to 5.2 kDa) sharply decreased upon ultrasound irradiation, coincidentally particle size (Zavg) was also significantly reduced for YTPS-3N (40%), YTPS-5N (48%) and YTPS-7N (54%). The high-performance liquid chromatography and Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy analysis revealed a partial degradation of native yellow tea polysaccharide treated with ultrasound, though the monosaccharide composition was not altered. Furthermore, changes in morphology and the breakdown of native yellow tea polysaccharide upon irradiation was confirmed with the circular dichroism spectrum, atomic force and scanning electron microscopy. As a consequence, irradiation of yellow tea polysaccharide increased free radical scavenging activity with YTPS-7U exhibiting the highest levels of 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl free radical, superoxide and hydroxyl radicals scavenging activity. These results suggest that the alteration of the spatial structure of yellow tea polysaccharide can enhance its antioxidant activity which is an important property for functional foods or medicines.  相似文献

Three novel naphthoquinone-based heterocyclic pigments, 2-methyl-3-[(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)thio-1,4-naphthalenedione, (4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)thio-1,4-naphthalenedione, and (1-methyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)thio]-1,4-naphthalenedione, are synthesized, and their optical properties in both solution and solid states are investigated. Depending on the heteroarylthio ring in the pigment, variation in optical properties is observed, e.g. characteristic colours for each pigment in the solution and solid states. The achiral pigment containing the 1-methyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl ring exhibits a chiral space group and a CD signal in the solid state.  相似文献

The laser-based techniques have been shown to be a very powerful tool for artworks characterization and are used in the field of cultural heritage for the offered advantages of minimum invasiveness, in situ applicability and high sensitivity. Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, in particular, has been applied in this field to many different kinds of ancient materials with successful results. In this work, a fragment of a Roman wall painting from the archaeological area of Pompeii has been investigated by LIBS. The sample elemental composition resulting from LIBS measurements suggested the presence of certain pigments. The ratio of the intensities of different lines related to some characteristic elements is proposed as an indicator for pigment recognition.  相似文献

Pure, Sn-doped and Mg/Sn co-doped α-Fe2O3 hematite samples were synthesized by precipitation process. Fe2O3 is the most popular red mineral pigment which is used largely in traditional ceramics, tar and concrete. The compounds were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning transmission electronic microscopy (energy dispersive X-ray cartography), Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetic investigations versus temperature and visible-NIR spectroscopy. Both 57Fe and 119Sn Mössbauer analyses combined with rietveld XRD refinements are the ideal techniques to characterize tin-iron oxides. Hence, thanks to these techniques it was shown how the synthesis temperature influences directly the grain size and the dopants concentration limit which can be incorporated into the host hematite matrix. The stabilization of these tetravalent and divalent dopants into the hematite framework leads to reduce the crystal growth and to limit the (AF) ordering due to the formation of cationic vacancies. The study of the Morin magnetic transition emphasizes this demonstration. In a second part, the influence of the dopants incorporation on the material color was investigated in order to show which key parameters allow improving the red color saturation of iron oxides. In order to improve the red color of the hematites, it was shown that the introduction of cationic vacancies—limiting the octahedral distortion thanks to the interruption of the dissymmetric metal-metal orbital coupling—is the key point. Vacancies are created by Sn4+, doping for an increase of the introduced Sn4+ concentration; it acts to the detriment of the color saturation.  相似文献

The multi-technique analytical approach has proved to be a very effective tool for the analysis of artwork, as demonstrated by various studies. In this work, four micro-analysis methods were used to analyze the wall painting fragments in Kaiping Diaolou, a world cultural heritage enlisted in 2007. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray micro-analysis (EDX), combined with micro Raman and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, provided a vast amount of information concerning the raw materials present in the pigments, organic binder, plasters and mortars of the wall painting. Four types of pigments (goethite, lazurite, chromium green and calcite) were identified on the surface layer of the wall paintings. The substrate under the pigment layer was found to be composed of cubic-like calcite (CaCO3), micro-rod bundle-shaped syngenite (K2Ca(SO4)2·H2O), gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O) and silica (SiO2). The organic binder can be attributed to animal glue (such as egg) and drying oil by micro FT-IR spectroscopy. These analysis results can provide important information for the conservation and restoration of the Kaiping Diaolou.  相似文献

The photocatalytic degradation of an azo reactive dye, Reactive Yellow 84 (RY84), in aqueous solutions using industrial titanium dioxide coated non-woven paper was studied. The experiments were carried out to investigate the factors that influence the dye photocatalytic degradation, such as adsorption, initial concentration of dye, temperature, and solution pH. The experimental results show that adsorption is an important parameter controlling the apparent kinetics constant of degradation. The photocatalytic degradation rate was favored by a high concentration of solution in respect to Langmuir–Hinshelwood model. The degradation was enhanced by the temperature and was favored in acidic pH range.  相似文献

In this paper, high-luminance yellow-emitting Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphor (YAG:Ce) microparticles were prepared in a solid flame using a 1.425Y2O3+2.5Al2O3+0.15CeO2+k(KClO3+urea)+mNH4F precursor mixture (here k is the number of moles of the KClO3+urea red-ox mixture, and m is the number of moles of NH4F). The self-sustaining combustion process for the entire reaction sample was provided by the heat generated from the KClO3+urea mixture. Parametric studies demonstrated that the maximum temperature in the combustion wave varied from 885 to 1200 °C for k=2.0-3.0 mole and m=0-1.5 mole. X-ray analysis results showed that the product obtained in the solid flame consisted of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ and KCl phases. Therefore, after dissolving potassium chloride in distillated water, pure-phase YAG:Ce phosphor powder was obtained. The as-prepared YAG:Ce phosphor particles had diameters of 10-25 μm and good dispersity and exhibited luminescence properties comparable to those of YAG:Ce phosphor powders prepared by conventional high-temperature processing.  相似文献

在华南沿海地区的低矮丘陵及台地上,广泛发育一套黄色粉土堆积。对该区7个典型剖面进行系统的激光粒度分析,并与典型黄土以及研究区常见的海、河相沉积进行对比。结果表明,华南沿海各黄色粉土剖面均以10~50 μm的粗粉砂为众数粒组,<5 μm的粘粒为次众粒组,分别对应风成黄土的“基本粒组”和“挟持粒组”,岩性均属于粘土质粉砂。样品的粒度参数、粒度散点图、频率分布曲线、粒度指数特征均显示为典型的风成成因。粒度判别分析结果为负值,同样证实了黄色粉土的风成特性。华南沿海黄色粉土的各项粒度特征指标及其所反映的沉积类型、沉积环境均与我国典型黄土具有较好的可比性,而与研究区的海、河相沉积截然不同。  相似文献

Cepaic acid was isolated as a novel xanthylium yellow pigment from the dried outer scales of the yellow onion Allium cepa Linne. Its structure was elucidated on the basis of ESI-MS and 2D NMR spectroscopy as a 9-carboxy-1,3,6,8-tetrahydroxyxanthylium, which suggests that cepaic acid and other yellow pigments in the dried outer skin of onion were formed by the nucleophilic reaction of phloroglucinol derived from quercetin, a flavonol in onion scales, by autoxidation to glyoxylic acid. To our knowledge, this is the first report of such a pigment in yellow onion.  相似文献
