Anomalous magnetization processes and non-symmetrical domain wall displacements in the minor loop of L10 FePt particulate films were investigated by magnetization measurements and in situ magnetic force microscopy. Magnetization (M) decreases dramatically on increasing the magnetic field to ∼3 kOe after which M becomes small and constant in the range of 5–20 kOe as observed in the successive measurement of minor loops. The domain wall displacement is non-symmetrical with respect to the field direction. The anomalous magnetization behavior was attributed to the non-symmetrical domain wall displacement and large magnetic field required for domain wall nucleation. Energy calculations from modeling suggest that non-symmetrical domain wall displacement is caused by the existence of metastable domains in which the domain edges are stuck to the particle boundaries.  相似文献

High-coercivity Au(60 nm)/FePt(δ nm)/Au(60 nm) trilayer samples were prepared by sputtering at room temperature, followed by post annealing at different temperatures. For the sample with δ=60 nm, L10 ordering transformation occurs at 500 °C. Coercivity (Hc) is increased with the annealing temperature in the studied range 400–800 °C. The Hc value of the trilayer films is also varied with thickness of FePt intermediate layer (δ), from 27 kOe for δ=60 nm to a maximum value of 33.5 kOe for δ=20 nm. X-ray diffraction data indicate that the diffusion of Au atoms into the FePt L10 lattice is negligible even after a high-temperature (800 °C) annealing process. Furthermore, ordering parameter is almost unchanged as δ is reduced from 60 to 15 nm. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) photos indicate that small FePt Ll0 particles are dispersed amid the large-grained Au. We believe that the high coercivity of the trilayer sample is attributed to the small and uniform grain sizes of the highly ordered FePt particles which have perfect phase separation with Au matrix.  相似文献

L10 ferromagnetic phase FePt nanoparticles containing Ag atoms (FePtAg) were synthesized by means of a liquid phase process, followed by annealing. The addition of Ag to FePt nanoparticles permits annealing to be conducted at a lower temperature (350 °C). This is further accompanied by a subsequent transformation in the crystal phase from the FCC superparamagnetic phase to the FCT (L10) ferromagnetic phase. The effects of annealing temperature and the Ag atoms inside the nanoparticles on the magnetic properties of the FePt nanoparticles have been studied. Using electron spectroscopy for the chemical analysis (ESCA), Ag atoms in the L10 phase FePtAg nanoparticles were found to be localized on the surface region of the annealed nanoparticles. The Ag atoms function to inhibit the oxidation of FePt, causing the particles to become more stable and to have ferromagnetic properties.  相似文献

FePt-C granular films doped with different Cu atomic fractions (xCu) were fabricated using facing-target sputtering at room temperature and subsequently annealed at 650 °C. Structural analyses reveal that the as-deposited films are in amorphous state. Appropriate Cu addition (xCu = 14) can improve the ordering of L10 FePt phase, and excessive Cu doping destroys the formation of ordered L10 phase with the appearance of Fe3C and CuPt phases. Besides, preferential graphitization of amorphous carbon (a-C) occurs near large metal particles upon annealing. Annealing turns the as-deposited superparamagnetic films into ferromagnetic associated with coercivity peaks at xCu = 14, drops from ∼11.2 kOe at 5 K to ∼7.2 kOe at 300 K in a 50 kOe field.  相似文献

We report a study on the fabrication and characterization of ultraviolet photodetectors based on ZnO:Al films. Using sol-gel technique, highly c-axis oriented ZnO films with 5 mol% Al doping were deposited on Si(1 1 1) substrates. The photoconductive UV detectors based on ZnO:Al thin films, having a metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) structure with interdigital (IDT) configuration, were fabricated by using Au as a contact metal. The characteristics of dark and photocurrent of the UV detector and the UV photoresponse of the detector were investigated. The linear current-voltage (I-V) characteristics under both forward and reverse bias exhibit ohmic metal-semiconductor contacts. Under illumination using monochromatic light with a wavelength of 350 nm, photo-generated current was measured at 58.05 μA at a bias of 6 V. The detector exhibits an evident wide-range spectral responsivity and shows a trend similar to that in transmittance and photoluminescence spectrum.  相似文献

Ribbons of nominal composition (Pr9.5Fe84.5B6)0.96Cr0.01(TiC)0.03 were produced by arc-melting and melt-spinning the alloys on a Cu wheel. X-ray diffraction reveals two main phases, one based upon α-Fe and the other upon Pr2Fe14B. The ribbons show exchange spring behavior with Hc=12.5 kOe and (BH)max=13.6 MGOe when these two phases are well coupled. Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the coupled behavior is observed when the microstructure consists predominantly of α-Fe grains (diameter ∼100 nm.) surrounded by hard material containing Pr2Fe14B. A first-order-reversal-curve (FORC) analysis was performed for both a well-coupled sample and a partially-coupled sample. The FORC diagrams show two strong peaks for both the partially-coupled sample and for the well-coupled material. In both cases, the localization of the FORC probability suggests demagnetizing interactions between particles. Switching field distributions were calculated and are consistent with the sample microstructure.  相似文献

A theoretical analysis of fractional anomalous diffusion caused by an instantaneous point source in disordered fractal media is studied. Using the method of symmetry group of scaling transformations and the H-function, the analytical solutions of concentration distribution are given. At the same time we derive the expressions of scattering function spectrum.The result shows that the scattering function spectra still have the properties of scaling function. The scattering functions of point source, line source and area source in regular Euclidean space can be regarded as particular cases of this paper and are included in this paper. At the end of the paper we discuss the asymptotic behaviors of the solution in detail. The results of this paper can be taken to be the fundamental solutions for every kind of boundary value problems of fractional anomalous diffusion in disordered fractal media.  相似文献

The properties of-mesons in dense nuclear matter are studied in a model which satisfies unitarity and current conservation. The important coupling of the-meson to two pions as well as the strong mixing of pions and delta-nucleon-hole states in nuclear matter are included. The-meson self energy in nuclear matter is evaluated with in-medium pion propagators and the corresponding vertex corrections required by current conservation. We find that the-meson width grows drastically with increasing density while its mass remains almost unchanged.  相似文献

Stem-cell niches represent microscopic compartments formed of environmental cells that nurture stem cells and enable them to maintain tissue homeostasis. The spatio-temporal kinetics of proliferation and differentiation of cells in such niches depend on the specifics of the niche structure and on adhesion and communication between cells and may also be influenced by spatial constraints on cell division. We propose a generic lattice model, taking all these factors into account, and systematically illustrate their role. The model is motivated by the experimental data available for the niches located in the subventricular zone of adult mammalian brain. The general conclusions drawn from our Monte Carlo simulations are applicable to other niches as well. One of our main findings is that the kinetics under consideration are highly stochastic due to a relatively small number of cells proliferating and differentiating in a niche and the autocatalytic character of the symmetric cell division. In particular, the kinetics exhibit huge stochastic bursts especially if the adhesion between cells is taken into account. In addition, the results obtained show that despite the small number of cells present in stem-cell niches, their arrangement can be predetermined to appreciable extent provided that the adhesion of different cells is different so that they tend to segregate.  相似文献
