In this paper, we first give the definitions of a crossed left π-H-comodules over a crossed weak Hopf π-algebra H, and show that the category of crossed left π-H-comodules is a monoidal category. Finally, we show that a family σ = {σα,β: Hα Hβ→ k}α,β∈πof k-linear maps is a coquasitriangular structure of a crossed weak Hopf π-algebra H if and only if the category of crossed left π-H-comodules over H is a braided monoidal category with braiding defined by σ.     

On ordered categories as a framework for fuzzification of algebraic and topological structures

Using the framework of ordered categories, the paper considers a generalization of the fuzzification machinery of algebraic structures introduced by Rosenfeld as well as provides a new approach to fuzzification of topological structures, which amounts to fuzzifying the underlying “set” of a structure in a suitably compatible way, leaving the structure itself crisp. The latter machinery allows the so-called “double fuzzification”, i.e., a fuzzification of something that is already fuzzified.     

The Étale Homology and the Cycle Maps in Adic Coefficients

In this article, we define the $ℓ$-adic homology for a morphism of schemes satisfying certain finiteness conditions. This homology has these functors similar to the Chow groups: proper push-forward, flat pull-back, base change, cap-product, etc. In particular, on singular varieties, this kind of $ℓ$-adic homology behaves much better than the classical $ℓ$-adic cohomology. As an application, we give a much easier approach to construct the cycle maps for arbitrary algebraic schemes over fields. And we prove that these cycle maps kill the algebraic equivalences and commute with the Chern action of locally free sheaves.     

Weak crossed biproducts and weak projections

In this paper, we present the general theory and universal properties of weak crossed biproducts. We prove that every weak projection of weak bialgebras induces one of these weak crossed structures. Finally, we compute explicitly the weak crossed biproduct associated with a groupoid that admits an exact factorization.     

Weak Equivalence of Internal Categories

Weak equivalence is defined as equivalence in the bicategory of modules between internal categories. It is known that two categories are weakly equivalent if and only if their Cauchy completions are equivalent. We prove that this condition can be generalized to a suitable notion of intermediate category, stable under composition with weak equivalences. Applications to categorical Morita theory are given.

The p-chain Spectral Sequence

We introduce a new spectral sequence called the p-chain spectral sequence which converges to the (co-)homology of a contravariant C-space with coefficients in a covariant C-spectrum for a small category C. It is different from the corresponding Atiyah–Hirzebruch-type spectral sequence. It can be used in combination with the Isomorphism Conjectures of Baum and Connes and Farrell and Jones to compute algebraic K- and L-groups of group rings and topological K-groups of reduced group C*-algebras.
