Frobenius morphisms and stable module categories of repetitive algebras

Let k be the algebraic closure of a finite field F_q and A be a finite dimensional k-algebra with a Frobenius morphism F.In the present paper we establish a relation between the stable module category of the repetitive algebra  of A and that of the repetitive algebra of the fixed-point algebra A~F.As an application,it is shown that the derived category of A~F is equivalent to the subcategory of F-stable objects in the derived category of A when A has a finite global dimension.     

Groups which do not admit ghosts

A ghost in the stable module category of a group is a map between representations of that is invisible to Tate cohomology. We show that the only non-trivial finite -groups whose stable module categories have no non-trivial ghosts are the cyclic groups and . We compare this to the situation in the derived category of a commutative ring. We also determine for which groups the second power of the Jacobson radical of is stably isomorphic to a suspension of .

     

Double Biproduct Hom-Bialgebra and Related Quasitriangular Structures

Let(H, β) be a Hom-bialgebra such that β~2= id_H.(A, α_A) is a Hom-bialgebra in the left-left Hom-Yetter-Drinfeld category (_H~H)YD and(B, α_B) is a Hom-bialgebra in the right-right Hom-Yetter-Drinfeld category YD_H~H. The authors define the two-sided smash product Hom-algebra(A■H■B, α_A ? β ? α_B) and the two-sided smash coproduct Homcoalgebra(A◇H◇B, α_A ? β ? α_B). Then the necessary and sufficient conditions for(A■H■B, α_A ? β ? α_B) and(A◇H◇B, α_A ? β ? α_B) to be a Hom-bialgebra(called the double biproduct Hom-bialgebra and denoted by(A_◇~■H_◇~■B, α_A ? β ? α_B)) are derived. On the other hand, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the smash coproduct Hom-Hopf algebra(A◇H, α_A ? β) to be quasitriangular are given.

The difference between common knowledge of formulas and sets

Common knowledge can be defined in at least two ways: syntactically as the common knowledge of a set of formulas or semantically, as the meet of the knowledge partitions of the agents. In the multi-agent S5 logic with either finitely or countably many agents and primitive propositions, the semantic definition is the finer one. For every subset of formulas that can be held in common knowledge, there is either only one member or uncountably many members of the meet partition with this subset of formulas held in common knowledge. If there are at least two agents, there are uncountably many members of the meet partition where only the tautologies of the multi-agent S5 logic are held in common knowledge. Whether or not a member of the meet partition is the only one corresponding to a set of formulas held in common knowledge has radical implications for its topological and combinatorial structure.

One-Side Derived Categories of Pre-Strict $P$-Semi-Abelian Categories

In this paper, we study a class of $P$-semi-abelian categories, as well as left and right cohomological functors. Then we establish the corresponding one-side derived categories.     

Representations and categorical realization of Hom-quasi-Hopf algebras

We give a monoidal category approach to Hom-coassociative coalgebra by imposing the Hom-coassociative law up to some isomorphisms on the comultiplication map and requiring that these isomorphisms satisfy the copentagon axiom and obtain a Hom-coassociative 2-coalgebra, which is a 2- category. Second, we characterize Hom-bialgebras in terms of their categories of modules. Finally, we give a categorical realization of Hom-quasi-Hopf algebras using Hom-coassociative 2-coalgebra.     

The Burnside ring of fusion systems

Given a saturated fusion system on a finite p-group S we define a ring modeled on the Burnside ring of finite groups. We show that these rings have several properties in common. When is the fusion system of G we describe the relationship between these rings.     

REGULARITY OF ENTROPY SOLUTIONS TO NONCONVEX SCALAR CONSERVATION LAWS WITH MONOTONE INITIAL DATA

We prove that for a given strictly increasing initial datum in Ck, the solution of the initial value problem is piecewise Ck smooth except for flux functions of nonconvex conservation laws in a certain subset of C^k＋1 of first category, defined in the range of the initial datum.
