A high-powered tunable terahertz wave (THz-wave) has been parametrically generated via a surface-emitted THz-wave parametric oscillator (TPO) pumped by a multi-longitudinal-mode Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The effective parametric gain length was enlarged by employing two MgO:LiNbO3 crystals. The tunable THz-wave radiation from 0.8 to 2.8 THz was realized via varying phase-matching angle between the pump wave and the Stokes wave. The maximum THz-wave radiation was 173.9 nJ/pulse at 1.7 THz as the pump energy was 82 mJ, corresponding to an energy conversion efficiency of about 2.12 × 10−6 and a photon conversion efficiency of about 0.035%. The first-order, the second-order and the third-order Stokes waves were observed during the experiments. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a radial stereo imaging system for three-dimensional reconstruction of an object. This system uses a novel optical device which consists of a camera and two reflected mirrors. It can reconstruct three-dimensional model of an object by capturing one image. Depending on the reflection of the mirrors, each world point in the scene has a pair of points which sit in the inner and outer of the captured image, respectively. We firstly analyze the imaging constraint of the proposed system, and then derive the geometrical relationship between world point and image point pair to calculate the three-dimensional coordinate values of an arbitrary point on the object, which means that the three-dimensional model of the object can be recovered. Experiments are carried out to prove our design, and the results show that our radial stereo imaging system is convenient and effective for the three-dimensional reconstruction of an object. A hollow cathode sputter source is developed to trace the production of carbon clusters and study the influence of discharge current and argon gas pressure on cluster production using an optical emission spectroscopic technique. Optical emission spectra from the hollow cathode source reveal the production of the C2 Swan band. The sputter source is optimized for the maximum carbon cluster yield. The vibrational temperature analysis of the C2 cluster is carried out using the Boltzmann plot method. The dependence of vibrational temperature on argon gas pressure is discussed and the dominant method for C-C association in the glow discharge is suggested. 相似文献

Two-level injection-locked opto-electronic oscillator is proposed for low phase noise. Dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) is used as the first injection source, injection locking a long-fiber loop based opto-electronic oscillator, then its output is injection locking another long-fiber opto-electronic oscillator for getting a lower-phase noise output carrier. We consider the quantum and classical dissociation dynamics of heteronuclear diatomic molecules induced by infrared laser pulses. The field–molecule interaction is given by the product of the time-dependent electric field and the molecule permanent dipole. We investigate the influence of the dipole function in molecular dissociation. We show that the dissociation can be suppressed at certain external field frequencies for a nonlinear and finite-range dipole function. The correspondence between quantum and classical results is established by relating classical Fourier amplitudes to discrete–continuum quantum matrix elements. 相似文献

Sulfur Immobilized in Hierarchically Porous Structured Carbon as Cathodes for Lithium–Sulfur Battery with Improved Electrochemical Performance 下载免费PDF全文
In order to overcome the main obstacles for lithium–sulfur batteries, such as poor conductivity of sulfur, polysulfide intermediate dissolution, and large volume change generated during the cycle process, a hard‐template route is developed to synthesize large‐surface area carbon with abundant micropores and mesopores to immobilize sulfur species. The microstructures of the C/S hybrids are investigated using field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques. The large surface and porous structure can effectively alleviate large strain due to the lithiation/delithiation process. More importantly, the micropores can effectively confine small molecules of sulfur in the form of S2–4, avoiding loss of active S species and dissolution of high‐order lithium polysulfides. The porous C/S hybrids show significantly enhanced electrochemical performance with good cycling stability, high specific capacity, and rate capability. The C/S‐39 hybrid with an optimal content of 39 wt% S shows a reversible capacity of 780 mA h g?1 after 100 cycles at the current density of 100 mA g?1. Even at a current density of 5 A g?1, the reversible capacity of C/S‐39 can still maintain at 420 mA h g?1 after 60 cycles.
