本文利用所需额外硬件很少的立体显示技术,研制了一种基于微机平台的虚拟现实系统。这个系统利用最新推出的微机版的三维图形标准Open GL建模,以实时动画形式实现了真正的交互性,立体视觉效果明显,可以给观赏者提供真实的临场感和亲自控制的参与感。与已研制出的“三维立体显示系统”相比,有了实质性的进步。  相似文献

Computational Modeling of Organizations Comes of Age   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
As they are maturing—i.e., as they are becoming validated, calibrated and refined—computational emulation models of organizations are evolving into: powerful new kinds of organizational design tools for predicting and mitigating organizational risks; and flexible new kinds of organizational theorem-provers for validating extant organization theory and developing new theory. Over the past 50 years, computational modeling and simulation have had enormous impacts on the rate of advancement of knowledge in fields like physics, chemistry and, more recently, biology; and their subsequent application has enabled whole new areas of engineering practice. In the same way, as our young discipline comes of age, computational organizational models are beginning to impact behavioral, organizational and economic science, and management consulting practice. This paper attempts to draw parallels between computational modeling in natural sciences and computational modeling of organizations as a contributor to both social science and management practice.To illustrate the lifecycle of a computational organizational model that is now relatively mature, this paper traces the evolution of the Virtual Design Team (VDT) computational modeling and simulation research project at Stanford University from its origins in 1988 to the present. It lays out the steps in the process of validating VDT as a computational emulation model of organizations to the point that VDT began to influence management practice and, subsequently, to advance organizational science. We discuss alternate research trajectories that can be taken by computational and mathematical modelers who prefer the typical natural science validation trajectory—i.e., who attempt to impact organizational science first and, perhaps subsequently, to impact management practice.The paper concludes with a discussion of the current state-of-the-art of computational modeling of organizations and some thoughts about where, and how rapidly, the field is headed.  相似文献

Automation of positron beam experiment with a single chip embedded design using a programmable system on chip (PSoC) which provides easy interfacing of the high-voltage DC power supply is reported. Virtual Instrument (VI) control program written in Visual Basic 6.0 ensures the following functions (i) adjusting of sample high voltage by interacting with the programmed PSoC hardware, (ii) control of personal computer (PC) based multi channel analyzer (MCA) card for energy spectroscopy, (iii) analysis of the obtained spectrum to extract the relevant line shape parameters, (iv) plotting of relevant parameters and (v) saving the file in the appropriate format. The present study highlights the hardware features of the PSoC hardware module as well as the control of MCA and other units through programming in Visual Basic.  相似文献

The model of an open queueing network in heavy traffic has been developed. These models are mathematical models of computer networks in heavy traffic. A limit theorem has been presented for the virtual waiting time of a customer in heavy traffic in open queueing networks. Virtual simulation teaching is a new type of teaching mode in recent years, which is a fusion of multiple disciplines, multiple regions and multi-level laboratory teaching methods. Taking virtual simulation experiment platform construction of chemical engineering in Tianjin University as an example, this paper introduces the chemical safety knowledge, the integration of theoretical knowledge, the experimental content, the specific content of virtual simulation resources, and the characteristic of virtual simulation experiment platform. This platform provides a new model of efficient combination of virtual simulation resources and traditional teaching resources, which promotes the development of chemical laboratory teaching.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new model that combines quality of service and mobility aspects in wireless ATM networks. Namely, besides the hop count and load parameters of the basic ATM layouts, we introduce a new notion of distance that estimates the time needed to reconstruct the virtual channel of a wireless user when he moves through the network. Quality of service guarantee dictates that the rerouting phase must be imperceptible, that is, the maximum distance between two virtual channels must be maintained as low as possible. Therefore, a natural combinatorial problem arises in which suitable trade-offs must be determined between the different performance measures. We first show that establishing the existence of a layout with maximum hop count h, load l and distance d is NP-complete, even in the very restricted case h=2, l=1 and d=1. We then provide optimal layout constructions for basic interconnection networks, such as chains and rings.  相似文献

A completely automated flow-injection system was developed for the monitoring of biosorption studies of Cu(II) ion on vegetable waste by-products. The system employed flow-through Cu(II)-selective electrodes, of epoxy-resin-CuS/Ag2S heterogeneous crystalline type, and computer controlled pumps and valves for the flow operation. Computer automation was done through a specially devised virtual instrument, which commanded and periodically calibrated the system, allowing for the monitoring of Cu(II) ions between 0.6 and 6530 mg L−1 at a typical frequency of 15 h−1. Grape stalk wastes were used as biosorbent to remove Cu(II) ions in a fixed-bed column with a sorption capacity of 5.46 mg g−1, obtained by the developed flow system, while the reference determination performed by FAAS technique supplied a comparable value of 5.41 mg g−1.  相似文献

本文介绍了虚拟仪器技术在水声信号处理研究中的一个具体应用,利用LabVIEW语言编程,在NI公司高速数据采集硬件平台上实现了高采样率下多通道数据的同步采集、处理、记录功能,并在不使用信号处理机的情况下,利用主控单板机的单核CPU完成了32通道常规波束成形(CBF)的实时计算。同时,本文对非DSP硬件平台的实时信号处理实现方法进行了初步的研究。  相似文献

Although several analytical models have been proposed in the literature for binary n-cubes with deterministic routing, most of them have not included the effects of virtual channel multiplexing on network performance. The only mathematical model for deterministic wormhole routing in hypercubes with virtual channels was proposed in [Y. Boura, Design and Analysis of Routing Schemes and Routers for Wormhole-routed Mesh Architectures, Ph.D. Thesis, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, 1995] which uses complex combinatorial analysis with a computation time of O(N=2n) for an n-dimensional hypercube. This paper proposes a new and simple analytical model to compute message latency in binary n-cubes with virtual channels. It is very simple and easy to understand which uses an average case analysis and requires a computation time of O(n) for an n-dimensional hypercube. Results from simulation experiments confirm that the proposed model exhibits a good degree of accuracy for various network sizes and under different operating conditions.  相似文献
