Atomic scale properties of thin porous silicon (PSi) layers, characterized by the formation of positronium, are investigated using positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy in the temperature range 20-300 K under 10−7 Torr vacuum. The longest orthopositronium as well as the shortest parapositronium components are found to have quite low intensities in the thin layer at room temperature. It is also found that at temperatures ≤240 K, these two components do not show up in the spectrum. The reason for this absence of the longest lifetime component is suggested. 相似文献

Molybdenum oxide thin films were produced by magnetron sputtering using a molybdenum (Mo) target. The sputtering was performed in a reactive atmosphere of an argon-oxygen gas mixture under varying conditions of substrate temperature (Ts) and oxygen partial pressure (pO2). The effect of Ts and pO2 on the growth and microstructure of molybdenum oxide films was examined in detail using reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED), Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS), energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements. The analyses indicate that the effect of Ts and pO2 on the microstructure and phase of the grown molybdenum oxide thin films is remarkable. RHEED and RBS results indicate that the films grown at 445 °C under 62.3% O2 pressure were stoichiometric and polycrystalline MoO3. Films grown at lower pO2 were non-stoichiometric MoOx films with the presence of secondary phase. The microstructure of the grown Mo oxide films is discussed and conditions were optimized to produce phase pure, stoichiometric, and highly textured polycrystalline MoO3 films. 相似文献

Al-doped ZnO (AZO) transparent conductive thin films were grown by magnetron sputtering with AZO (98 wt.% ZnO, 2 wt.% Al2O3) ceramic target in Ar + H2 ambient at a relatively low temperature of 100 °C. To investigate the dependence of crystalline and properties of as-grown AZO films on the H2-flux, X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoemission spectrometer (XPS), Hall and transmittance spectra measurements were employed to analyze the AZO samples deposited with different H2-flux. The results indicate that H2-flux has a considerable influence on the transparent conductive properties of AZO films. The resistivity of 4.15 × 10−4 Ω cm and the average transmittance of more than 94% in the visible range were obtained with the optimal H2-flux of 1.0 sccm. Such a low temperature growing method present here may be especially useful for some low-melting point photoelectric devices and substrates. 相似文献

This paper describes measurements of a vibrating object with rough surface by the time-averaged method of holography using a newly designed optically addressed liquid crystal spatial light modulator with a resolution of 102 lp/mm and a diffraction efficiency of 16%. An object vibrating faster than several tens of Hz could be visualized. The pattern obtained by the method provides the locus of vibrating nodes. The advantage of this method is that a high contrast pattern of a vibrating object can be imaged in near-real-time, although the sensitivity of vibration is decreased. 相似文献

The multi‐thermo‐responsive block copolymer of poly[2‐(2‐methoxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate]‐block‐poly[N‐(4‐vinylbenzyl)‐N,N‐diethylamine] (PMEO2MA‐b‐PVEA) displaying phase transition at both the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) and the upper critical solution temperature (UCST) in the alcohol/water mixture is synthesized by reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. The poly[2‐(2‐methoxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate] (PMEO2MA) block exhibits the UCST phase transition in alcohol and the LCST phase transition in water, while the poly[N‐(4‐vinylbenzyl)‐N,N‐diethylamine] (PVEA) block shows the UCST phase transition in isopropanol and the LCST phase transition in the alcohol/water mixture. Both the polymer molecular weight and the co‐solvent/nonsolvent exert great influence on the LCST or UCST of the block copolymer. By adjusting the solvent character including the water content and the temperature, the block copolymer undergoes multiphase transition at LCST or UCST, and various block copolymer morphologies including inverted micelles, core‐corona micelles, and corona‐collapsed micelles are prepared. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We report on the successful fabrication of polycrystalline silicon films by aluminium-induced crystallisation (AIC) of Radio frequency (rf) plasma-enhanced chemical vapour deposited (PECVD) a-Si films. The effects of annealing at different temperatures (300 and 400°C), below the eutectic temperature of the Si–Al binary system, on the crystallisation process have been studied. This work emphasises the important role of the position of the Al layer with respect to the Si layer on the crystallisation process. The properties of the crystallised films were characterised using X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, ellipsometry, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). With an increase in the annealing temperature, it was found that the degree of crystallisation of annealed a-Si/Al and Al/a-Si films increased. The results showed that the arrangement where the Al was on top of the a-Si had a more prominent effect on crystallisation enhancement than when Al was below the a-Si. The interfacial layer between the Al and a-Si film is crucial because it influences the layer-exchange process during annealing. The oxide layer formed between the Al and the a-Si layers greatly retards the crystallisation process in the case of the Al/Si arrangement. Our investigations suggest that polycrystalline Si films formed by AIC can be used as a seed layer in solar cell fabrication. 相似文献

A series of poly(arylene ether)s, (PAEs), carrying a pendant diphenyl phosphoryl group were prepared via the nucleophilic aromatic substitution (NAS) reactions of 3,5‐difluorotriphenylphosphine oxide, 6 . The difluoro monomer 6 was synthesized via two‐step reaction sequence and subsequently characterized by 1H, 13C, 19F, and 31P NMR spectroscopy, GC/MS, and elemental analysis. The reactivity of the electrophilic sites in 6 , activated by only a diphenylphosphoryl group located in the meta‐position, in 6 was probed via NMR spectroscopy and model reactions and was determined to be sufficient to undergo typical NAS reactions. High molecular weight, amorphous, organic soluble poly(arylene ether)s, bearing a pendant diphenylphosphoryl group, were prepared via the reaction of 6 with a variety of bis‐phenols under typical NAS conditions. The poly(arylene ether)s were characterized for structure via the use of 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR spectroscopy while their thermal properties were evaluated using DSC and TGA analysis. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of the synthesized PAEs ranged from 143 to 175 °C, while their 5% weight loss temperatures ranged from 467 to 510 °C under nitrogen and from 470 to 526 °C in air. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
