Decentralized iterative learning control for a class of large scale interconnected dynamical systems

The problem of decentralized iterative learning control for a class of large scale interconnected dynamical systems is considered. In this paper, it is assumed that the considered large scale dynamical systems are linear time-varying, and the interconnections between each subsystem are unknown. For such a class of uncertain large scale interconnected dynamical systems, a method is presented whereby a class of decentralized local iterative learning control schemes is constructed. It is also shown that under some given conditions, the constructed decentralized local iterative learning controllers can guarantee the asymptotic convergence of the local output error between the given desired local output and the actual local output of each subsystem through the iterative learning process. Finally, as a numerical example, the system coupled by two inverted pendulums is given to illustrate the application of the proposed decentralized iterative learning control schemes. 相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the controllability of a nonlinear degenerate parabolic system with bilinear control. Based on the shrinking property of the solutions, we prove that the system is not globally approximately controllable. Furthermore, we give an approximate null controllability result. The mathematical formulation and analysis of an optimal control problem associated with a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in a bounded three-dimensional domain with fixed perfectly conducting boundaries is considered. The objective of control is the matching of the velocity and magnetic fields to given target fields; control is effected through distributed mechanical force and current controls. The generalized T2 chart (GT‐chart), which is composed of the T2 statistic based on a small number of principal components and the remaining components, is a popular alternative to the traditional Hotelling's T2 control chart. However, the application of the GT‐chart to high‐dimensional data, which are now ubiquitous, encounters difficulties from high dimensionality similar to other multivariate procedures. The sample principal components and their eigenvalues do not consistently estimate the population values, and the GT‐chart relying on them is also inconsistent in estimating the control limits. In this paper, we investigate the effects of high dimensionality on the GT‐chart and then propose a corrected GT‐chart using the recent results of random matrix theory for the spiked covariance model. We numerically show that the corrected GT‐chart exhibits superior performance compared to the existing methods, including the GT‐chart and Hotelling's T2 control chart, under various high‐dimensional cases. Finally, we apply the proposed corrected GT‐chart to monitor chemical processes introduced in the literature. 相似文献

This paper presents a direct method based on Legendre–Radau pseudospectral method for efficient and accurate solution of a class of singular optimal control problems. In this scheme, based on a priori knowledge of control, the problem is transformed to a multidomain formulation, in which the switching points appear as unknown parameters. Then, by utilizing Legendre‐Radau pseudospectral method, a nonlinear programming problem is derived which can be solved by the well‐developed parameter optimization algorithms. The main advantages of the present method are its superior accuracy and ability to capture the switching times. The main purpose of this article is to investigate the optimal wholesaler's replenishment decisions for deterioration items under two levels of the trade credit policy and two storage facilities in order to reflect the supply chain management situation within the economic order quantity framework. In this study, each of the following assumptions have been made: (1) The own warehouse with limited capacity always is not sufficient to store the order quantity, so that a rented warehouse is needed to store the excess units over the capacity of the own warehouse; (2) The wholesaler always obtains the partial trade credit, which is independent of the order quantity offered by the supplier, but the wholesaler offers the full trade credit to the retailer; (3) The wholesaler must take a loan to pay his or her supplier the partial payment immediately when the order is received and then pay off the loan with the entire revenue. Under these three conditions, the wholesaler can obtain the least costs. Furthermore, this study models the wholesaler's optimal replenishment decisions under the aforementioned conditions in the supply chain management. Two theorems are developed to efficiently determine the optimal replenishment decisions for the wholesaler. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the theorems that are proven in this study, and the sensitivity analysis with respect to the major parameters in this study is performed. We consider a linear parabolic problem in a thick junction domain which is the union of a fixed domain and a collection of periodic branched trees of height of order 1 and small width connected on a part of the boundary. We consider a three‐branched structure, but the analysis can be extended to n‐branched structures. We use unfolding operator to study the asymptotic behavior of the solution of the problem. In the limit problem, we get a multi‐sheeted function in which each sheet is the limit of restriction of the solution to various branches of the domain. Homogenization of an optimal control problem posed on the above setting is also investigated. One of the novelty of the paper is the characterization of the optimal control via the appropriately defined unfolding operators. Finally, we obtain the limit of the optimal control problem. In this work, new results on functional type a posteriori estimates for elliptic optimal control problems with control constraints are presented. More precisely, we derive new, sharp, guaranteed, and fully computable lower bounds for the cost functional in addition to the already existing upper bounds. Using both, the lower and the upper bounds, we arrive at two‐sided estimates for the cost functional. We prove that these bounds finally lead to sharp, guaranteed and fully computable upper estimates for the discretization error in the state and the control of the optimal control problem.
