2-Soliton-Solution of the Novikov-Veselov Equation

Based on a superposition method recently proposed to obtain 1-solitary wave solutions of the KdV-Burgers equation (Yuanxi and Jiashi, 2005, International Journal of Theoretical Physics 44, 293–301), we show that this method can also be used to find a 2-solitary wave solution of the Novikov-Veselov equation. Thus, it seems that the method of Yuanxi and Jiashi in general is not restricted to constructing 1-solitary wave solutions of nonlinear wave and evolution equations (NLWEEs).     

The system of generalized vector equilibrium problems with applications

In this paper, we introduce the system of generalized vector equilibrium problems which includes as special cases the system of generalized implicit vector variational inequality problems, the system of generalized vector variational and variational-like inequality problems and the system of vector equilibrium problems. By using a maximal element theorem, we establish existence results for a solution of these systems. As an application, we derive existence results for a solution of a more general Nash equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions.     

Vector complementarity problems with a variable ordering relation

In this paper, we investigate vector complementarity problems with a variable ordering relation. We establish existence results of a solution of a vector complementarity problem under an inclusive type condition. We obtain equivalence results among a vector complementarity problem, a vector variational inequality problem and other related problems.

构造了由多模虚相干态|{iZ_j}>_q、多模虚相干态的相反态|{-iZ_j}>_q和多模真空态|{O_j}>_q这三种不同的量子光场态的线性叠加所组成的第Ⅱ类三态叠加多模叠加态光场|ψ₂⁽³⁾>_q.利用多模压缩态理论,研究了态|ψ₂⁽³⁾>_q的广义非线性等幂次2m+1次方Y压缩特性.结果发现:在压缩次数N=2m+1(m=0,1,2,3,…,…)的条件下,只要各模的初始相位和态间的初始相位差分别满足一定的取值条件,态|ψ₂⁽³⁾>_q就可呈现出周期性变化的、任意奇数次的广义非线性等幂次N次方Y压缩效应.     

New Type of Generalized Vector Quasiequilibrium Problem

In this paper, we introduce a new type of vector quasiequilibrium problem with set-valued mappings and moving cones. By using the scalarization method and fixed-point theorem, we obtain its existence theorem. As applications, we derive some existence theorems for vector variational inequalities and vector complementarity problems. Extension of the Quantum Mechanical Principle of Superposition to Non-Identical States with Short Life Times

We apply the principle of superposition to two quantum mechanical states of which one has a short life time 1/Γ. They must be identical, but may have a small difference in energy-momentum comparable to Γ. This produces new effects resulting from the linear relationship that appears between the S-matrix element and the production cross section of the decay products of the short lived state. An optical theorem for diffraction dissociation processes is proposed. This mechanism also provides a measure of the non-orthogonality between unstable particles that are eigenstates of a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian. Vector sampling expansions in shift invariant subspaces

Multi-input multi-output (MIMO) sampling scheme which is motivated by applications in multi-channel deconvolution and multi-source separation has been investigated in many aspects. Common for most of results on MIMO systems is that the input signals are supposed to be band-limited. In this paper, we study vector sampling expansions on general finitely generated shift-invariant subspaces. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a vector sampling theorem to hold are given. We also give several examples to illustrate the main result.     

2-D/3-D finite-element solution of the steady Euler equations for transonic lifting flow by stream vector correction

In this paper we study the validation of the new formulation (potential-stream vector) of the steady Euler equations in 2-D/3-D transonic lifting regime flow. This approach, which is based on the Helmholtz decomposition of a velocity vector field, is designed to extend the potential approximation of Euler equations for severe situations such as high transonic or rotational subsonic flows. Different results computed by a fixed point algorithm on the stream vector correction are shown and discussed by comparing them with those obtained by the full potential approach.
