The multiplicities a of simple modules L in the composition series of Kac modules V lambda for the Lie superalgebra (m/n ) were described by Serganova, leading to her solution of the character problem for (m/n ). In Serganova's algorithm all with nonzero a are determined for a given this algorithm, turns out to be rather complicated. In this Letter, a simple rule is conjectured to find all nonzero a for any given weight . In particular, we claim that for an r-fold atypical weight there are 2r distinct weights such that a = 1, and a = 0 for all other weights . Some related properties on the multiplicities a are proved, and arguments in favour of our main conjecture are given. Finally, an extension of the conjecture describing the inverse of the matrix of Kazhdan–Lusztig polynomials is discussed.     

Chase’s lemma and its context

Chase’s lemma provides a powerful tool for translating properties of (co)products in abelian categories into chain conditions. This note discusses the context in which the lemma is used, making explicit what is often neglected in the literature because of its technical nature.     

Chemical morphology: The chemistry of our shape, <Emphasis Type="Italic">in vivo</Emphasis> and <Emphasis Type="Italic">in vitro</Emphasis>

Our shape is defined and maintained by the connective tissues (skin, tendons, cartilages, blood vessels, etc.) or more precisely by their extracellular matrices. These highly ordered supramolecular organisations are modules of protein fibrils held together by elastic carbohydrate strings. I called these the ‘shape modules.’ The ‘laws.’ which underpin this tissue jigsaw, the changes which come with age and the insight that the concepts give in economically important disorders such as osteoarthrosis begin to provide a new and coherent picture stretching across the animal world and its evolution. This structure/function picture is built on biochemical analyses, which developed into histochemical microscopy and thence into electron histochemistry, and from nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), molecular modelling and computer simulations on the physicochemical and biomechanical side. As usual, originality bred dissent.

贝克曼Allegra^TM 21R型超高速离心机开机后，操作面板上出现错误代码“28”，离心机不旋转。离心机的电机采用无刷感应驱动，由电机驱动电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2驱动离心机的电机。故障是由于电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2损坏引起的。采用东芝三相桥式IGBT电源模块MG25Q6ES42代替BSMl0GD60DN2，并更换已烧毁的栅极电阻后。开机试验，仪器恢复正常。     

Acceleration modules in linear induction accelerators

The Linear Induction Accelerator （LIA） is a unique type of accelerator that is capable of accelerating kilo-Ampere charged particle current to tens of MeV energy. The present development of LIA in MHz bursting mode and the successful application into a synchrotron have broadened LIA＇s usage scope. Although the transformer model is widely used to explain the acceleration mechanism of LIAs, it is not appropriate to consider the induction electric field as the field which accelerates charged particles for many modern LIAs. We have examined the transition of the magnetic cores＇ functions during the LIA acceleration modules＇ evolution, distinguished transformer type and transmission line type LIA acceleration modules, and re-considered several related issues based on transmission line type LIA acceleration module. This clarified understanding should help in the further development and design of LIA acceleration modules.

1.3μm分布反馈二极管激光器组件

开发了一种用于光纤公用天线电视（ＣＡＴＶ）的分布反馈激光二极管组成，组件包括１．３μｍＩｎＧａＡｓ／ＩｎＰ双沟－平面掩埋双异质结（ＤＣ－ＰＢＨ）分布反馈激光二极管和光隔离器，封装在蝴蝶型管壳内，组件的出纤线性功率为２．５ｍＷ，并具有极低的失真。
