This paper considers a two-facility supply chain for a single product in which facility 1 orders the product from facility 2 and facility 2 orders the product from a supplier in each period. The orders placed by each facility are delivered in two possible nonnegative integer numbers of periods. The difference between them is one period. Random demands in each period arise only at facility 1. There are physical storage constraints at both facilities in each period. The objective of the supply chain is to find an ordering policy that minimizes the expected cost over a finite horizon and the discounted stationary expected cost over an infinite horizon. We characterize the structure of the minimum expected cost and the optimal ordering policy for both the finite and the discounted stationary infinite horizon problems. 相似文献

Convective flow and heat transfer in an inclined channel bounded by two rigid plates held at constant different temperatures with one region filled with porous matrix saturated with a viscous fluid and another region with a clear viscous fluid different from the fluid in first region is studied analytically. The coupled nonlinear governing equations are solved using regular perturbation method. It is found that the presence of porous matrix in one of the region reduces the velocity and temperature. Results have been presented for a wide range of governing parameters such as Grashof number, porous parameter, angle of inclination, ratio of heights of the two layers and also the ratio of viscosities. 相似文献

In this paper, a two dimensional functionally graded material (2D-FGM) under an anti-plane load with an internal crack is considered. The crack is oriented in an arbitrary direction. The material properties are assumed to vary exponentially in two planar directions. The problem is analyzed and solved by two different methods namely Fourier integral transforms with singular integral equation technique, and then by the finite element method. The effects of crack orientation, material non-homogeneity, and other parameters on the value of stress intensity factor (SIF) are studied. In this paper, we report the results of our numerical studies on laminar mixed convection heat transfer in a circular Curved tube with a nanofluid consisting of water and 1 vol.% Al2O3. Three dimensional elliptic governing equations have been used. Two phase mixture model and control volume technique have been implemented to study flow field. Effects of the diameter of particles on the hydrodynamic and thermal parameters are investigated and discussed. Increasing the solid particles diameter decreases the Nusselt number and secondary flow, while the axial velocity augments. When the particles are in order of nano meter, increasing the diameter of particles, do not change the flow behaviors. in the unified MIT bag model. We construct the color-spin wave functions of the triply-heavy pentaquarks and use the numerical variational method to compute all the ground-state masses of these systems. By excluding the scattering states in configuration spsce, we computed the decay width ratios of each decay channel relative to the maximum width for the compact pentaquark states, obtaining the main decay modes of the triply-heavy pentaquark systems. 相似文献

The validity of the local thermal equilibrium assumption in the transient forced convection channel flow is investigated analytically. Closed form expressions are presented for the temperatures of the fluid and solid domains and for the criterion which insures the validity of the local thermal equilibrium assumption. It is found that four dimensionless parameters control the local thermal equilibrium assumption. These parameters are the porosity , the volumetric Biot number Bi, the dimensionless channel length max and the solid to fluid total thermal capacity ratio CR. In this paper,the thermo-electro-mechanical coupling contact problem of thermoelectric material with double punches is analyzed accurately.Using the Fourier cosine transform technique,the thermo-electro-elastic problem is transformed into three sets of singular integral equations,which are numerically solved by the Gauss-Chebyshev integral formula according to the unknown normal electric current density,normal energy flux and normal contact stress.For a rigid flat indenter,the results can be covered by the degradation results of two rigid flat indenters.The numerical results reveal the interaction between two punches and the effect of thermoelectric load on the indentation behaviors.The interaction between the two punches reduces the contact pressure at the inner edge of the indenter as the thermoelectric load increases while increasing the stress singularity at the outer edge.The change of punches'spacing makes the singularity of normal stress at the inner and outer edges asymmetric.The results provide an in-depth understanding of the multi-region contact damage mechanism of thermoelectric material. 相似文献
