The relation of thermodynamic stability and kinetic lability of σ-organometallic compounds of transition metals, together with an improved understanding of the subtle interactions between central metal, ligands, and substrates, has increased the chemist's ability to plan organometallic syntheses. This article presents new results on intermediary and isolable synthetic building blocks incorporating metal–ligand multiple bonds of electron-deficient transition metals; the main emphasis will be placed on compounds with titanium–carbon double bonds. This particular class of compounds is mainly generated by H-transfer reactions starting from readily accessible alkyl and alkenyl derivatives. The preparative use of [L2Ti(CHR2)R′] derivatives as sources for [L2Ti?CR2] intermediates will be discussed, as well as the nature of these intermediates. Application of the same approach to vinyltitanium compounds [L2Ti(CH?CH2)R] opens up an access to a short-lived metallaallene derivative [L2Ti?C?CH2] of an electron-deficient transition metal. The reactivity of these synthetic building blocks is mainly characterized by the nucleophilic properties of the α-C atoms as well as by the spatial orientation of the π-bonding planes. Numerous cycloaddition products with unsaturated substrates could be isolated and characterized for the first time by using [L2Ti?C?CH2] intermediates. Hence it is possible to compare the properties of a multitude of metallacyclic ring systems with those obtained from “Tebbe–Grubbs chemistry”, and in this context, the dependence of the properties of metallacyclic four-membered rings on the substitution pattern is discussed. This class of compounds includes the metallaoxetanes, which have been obtained for the first time by the cycloaddition of the [CpTi?C?CH2] intermediate with cumulenes and metal carbonyls. The differing cycloreversion behavior of these metallaoxetanes enables the differentiation of species exhibiting classical and nonclassical reactivity. The number and position of the exocyclic double bonds are the determining factors of the reactivity of the formed metallacycles. The discussion of the products obtained from titanium methylene and vinylidene building blocks is an up-to-date report on the formation and applications of carbene complexes and carbene intermediates of group 4 metals.  相似文献

The effect of calcinations on the silica surface groups and thereby on the activity of Ziegler-Natta catalysts in ethylene homopolymerisation has been studied. Silica was calcined at different temperatures and treated with MgR2 and HCl. Silica surface groups were identified by using 1H MAS NMR and 13C and 29Si CP MAS NMR techniques. Magnesium, titanium and chlorine were measured by elemental analysis. Ziegler-Natta catalysts were prepared from these supports and subsequently used in ethylene homopolymerisation. Maximum activity was obtained with the catalyst based on 590 °C calcined silica. The results indicate that MgR2 reacts with siloxane-groups (Si-O-Si) in the 300 °C calcined silica, leaving the hydrogen-bonded hydroxyl-groups unreacted. Low activity Si-O-Ti(Cl)2-O-Si species are formed after reacting with TiCl4. The higher activity in the catalyst based on 590 °C calcined silica can be explained by the formation of -Si(R)-O-Si-O-TiCl3 groups, originating from the siloxane bridges which cannot form in 300 °C calcined silica. Other explanations for the higher activity are a higher Mg/Ti ratio or small amounts of crystal water formed in the 590 °C calcined silica.  相似文献

采用溶解-流涎法,湿相转换法和干湿相转换法制轩了负载型TiO2-聚酰亚胺亲水复合膜,采用扫描电镜,红外光谱,压汞和透气性实验等手段对该膜的孔径分布,表面结构及扩散性能进行了表征,并讨论了制备亲水对膜孔结构的影响,实验结果表明,三种膜均具有很好的亲水性能,而干湿相转换膜具有良好的孔径分布和分离性能。  相似文献

The feasibility of producing titanium metal from titanium tetrachloride in a thermal plasma under equilibrium and adiabatic expansion conditions has been theoretically investigated. Free energy minimization and adiabatic expansion calculations to simulate a nozzle expansion were used to study the practicality of production. The crucial requirements for the production of titanium powder from TiCl4 and H2 appear to be rapid quenching of the plasma gas at high temperature (e.g., 3700 K) and appropriate reactant concentrations. Quenching of tire plasma gas and production of titanium powder can be achieved by adiabatic expansion through a nozzle. Preliminary experimental data indicate that titanium powder of approximately 5 nm in size can be produced in an argon plasma rising a nozzle expansion approach.  相似文献

The ability of titanium(IV) chloride as a catalyst to promote the Pechmann condensation reaction with a range of phenols and β-keto esters is described.The reaction was carried out by addition of TiCl4 to a mixture of the phenol and the β-keto ester with thorough stirring in the absence of a solvent and represents an improvement on the classical Pechmann conditions. The yields of coumarins obtained via this novel protocol were significantly higher than those using the conventional method and the reaction duration was reduced to a few minutes or even a few seconds.  相似文献

用多组份改性钛系载体催化剂TiCl_4,Ti(OBu)_4/MgCl_2/Ethylbenzeate(EB)/φ_2SiCl_2/AlEt_3进行了乙烯-丙烯-1-丁烯三元共聚合的研究。考察了单体进料比、聚合温度,烷基铝浓度和催化剂浓度等条件对共聚合的影响。发现本催化剂对乙丙丁三元共聚合有极高的催化效率,聚合1h达8.6×10~4g共聚物/g-Ti。共聚合速率衰减符合动力学方程:R_s=R_s+(R_0—R_s)_e~(βs)。  相似文献

Summary The ion exchange selectivity of trivalent metal ions has been determined on titanium antimonate cation exchanger prepared by coprecipitation of antimony to titanium at different mole ratios. The selectivity sequence Al3+<Cr3+<Ga3+<In3+<Fe3+ was found for trivalent metal ions at an initial concentration of 10–4 mol dm–3 in nitric acid media. A high separation factor Ga/Al = KdGa/KdAl, 4.8×103, was observed for the Ga3+–Al3+ pair on titanium antimonate with an antimony to titanium ratio of 0.34. The effective separation of Ga3+ and In3+ from Al3+ was achieved using a 3 cm×0.5 cm i.d. column containing titanium antimonate with an antimony to titanium ratio of 0.34.  相似文献

Modern condensed-matter physics is increasingly concerned with the design, synthesis, analysis, and exploitation of chemically complex materials and structures. Complex metal oxides and strongly correlated electron systems such as YBa2Cu3O7−x and La1−xSrxMnO3 are paradigmatic examples. Their production in the form of high-quality thin films is of both technological and fundamental importance and has stimulated a concerted effort in the last two decades to find and optimize efficient techniques to this end. This review discusses the physics behind and the requirements for synthesizing high-quality films of such materials and examines fundamental aspects of the growth processes associated with magnetron sputtering and pulsed laser deposition, the two techniques which presently offer the best solutions in this burgeoning field.  相似文献

The reaction of the tetramethylcyclopentadiene-silyl substituted derivative C5Me4(SiMe3)(SiMe2Cl) with MCl4 afforded the trichloro mono-tetramethylcyclopentadienyl complexes M(η5-C5Me4SiMe2Cl)Cl3 [M=Ti (1), Zr (2)] with selective elimination of SiMe3Cl. Compound 1 reacts with deoxygenated water in methylene chloride, with the evolution of HCl, to give the dinuclear titanium compound {Ti[μ-(η5-C5Me4SiMe2O-κO)]Cl2}2 (3), which was converted into the μ-oxo complex {Ti[μ-(η5-C5Me4SiMe2O-κO)]Cl}2(μ-O) (4) by a further hydrolysis reaction which occurred when a solution of 3 in toluene was refluxed for a long period of time in the air. Depending on the size of the alkyl ligand, reactions of the mononuclear compound 1 with an appropriate alkylating reagent rendered the peralkylated Ti(η5-C5Me4SiMe2R)R3 [R=Me (5), CH2Ph (6)] or partially alkylated {Ti[(η5-C5Me4SiMe2(CH2SiMe3)]Cl(CH2SiMe3)2} (7) compounds by a salt metathesis route. Attempts to synthesise a partially methylated or benzylated complex were unsuccessful. Treatment of the dinuclear compound 3 with four equivalents of MgClMe yielded the tetramethyl derivative {Ti[μ-(η5-C5Me4SiMe2O-κO)]Me2}2 (8), while the same reaction carried out with MgCl(CH2Ph) or Mg(CH2Ph)2·2THF gave the chloro-benzyl derivative {Ti[μ-(η5-C5Me4SiMe2O-κO)]Cl(CH2Ph)}2 (9) as an equimolar mixture of diastereomers, regardless of the molar ratio of the alkylating reagent used. All of the new compounds were characterised by elemental analysis and NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献
