Raman scattering from BiI3 and SbI3 crystals has been studied at hydrostatic pressures up to 2 GPa. The wavenumbers monotonically increased with pressure for all modes in BiI3. Although both crystals belong to the same space group, the pressure coefficients of SbI3 were significantly different from those of BiI3. At pressure P0 = 0.92 ± 0.01 GPa, the pressure coefficients of all modes changed. Above P0, all modes in SbI3 had positive pressure coefficients as they have in BiI3. By comparing this unusual behavior of the Raman lines in SbI3 around P0 with the results in BiI3 and comparing the two lattice structures, we suggest that the type of bonding of SbI3 changes to become more ionic and hence more similar to the bonding of BiI3. This change in structure is supported by changes in the bandwidth of the self‐trapped exciton (STE) luminescence and the slope of the absorption edge photon energy versus pressure. Improving nucleation in the fabrication of high-quality 3D macro-porous copper film through the surface-modification of a polystyrene colloid-assembled template 下载免费PDF全文
A new approach is developed to the fabrication of high-quality
three-dimensional macro-porous copper films. A highly-ordered
macroporous copper film is successfully produced on a
polystyrene sphere (PS) template that has been modified by
sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). It is shown that this procedure
can change a hydrophobic surface of PS template into a
hydrophilic surface. The present study is devoted to the
influence of the electrolyte solution transport on the
nucleation process. It is demonstrated that the permeability of
the electrolyte solution in the nanochannels of the PS template
plays an important role in the chemical electrodeposition of
high-quality macroporous copper film. The permeability is
drastically enhanced in our experiment through the surface
modification of the PS templates. The method could be used to
homogeneously produce a large number of nucleations on a
substrate, which is a key factor for the fabrication of the

Photonic crystal technology allows the creation of optical waveguides with low sharp-bending losses as well as ultra-low group velocity. This last property is particularly interesting to develop highly-compact optical devices based on the controlled modification of the optical phase of the signals traveling through the waveguides. Among these devices, the Mach–Zehnder interferometer acquires fundamental importance because it can be used as a building block of more complex optical devices and functionalities such as optical filters, wavelength demultiplexers, channels interleavers, intensity modulators, switches and optical gates. In this paper, the performance of a Mach–Zehnder interferometer consisting of two coupled-cavity waveguides with different lengths created in a two-dimensional photonic crystal is theoretically analyzed. We also provide simulation results using a finite-difference time-domain code that confirm the theoretical analysis. The effect of silica aerosils on the kinetics of the first-order nematic-isotropic (NI) phase transition is phenomenologically described in the framework of the time-dependent Landau-Ginzburg equation. A steady-state solution to the equation is presented such that the NI interface may propagate with a solitary-like wave profile under constant quenching. The results provide a plausible basis for the interpretation of the dynamical effects of quenched disorder in the liquid-crystal systems, caused by randomly interconnected porous media, such as aerosils. In the low silica aerosil ρs ( ≤0.1 g/cm^3) regime, the calculated values of the interface velocity v(T,ρs), the interface thickness κ(T,ρs), and the critical radius of a spherical nucleus of new nematic phase in a bulk isotropic environment, composed of polar molecules, such as 4-n-octyl- 4′- cyanobiphenyl and 4-n-heptyl- 4′- cyanobiphenyl shows that the effect of silica aerosils on the kinetics is reflected in a shifting of the set of temperature-dependent curves to lower temperature values.-1 相似文献

以二维三角晶格光子晶体为研究对象,在该光子晶体中引入两行平行的单模线缺陷波导,以一行耦合介质柱为间距,通过调节部分耦合介质柱的折射率,构筑了光子晶体异质结耦合波导光开关结构。利用平面波展开法和定向耦合原理计算了在不同入射光频率下,缺陷波导间耦合介质柱的折射率不同时的耦合长度,确定了合适的光子晶体异质结耦合波导光开关的结构参数。利用时域有限差分法研究了该光开关中耦合介质柱的折射率变化及异质结构介质柱的位置分布对光信号输出路径的影响。结果表明,通过改变该结构中耦合介质柱的折射率可以改变光的输出路径,可实现光的开关行为。并且异质结构介质柱位置的随机分布对该光开关的影响不大,有助于光子晶体新型滤波器、定向耦合器、波分复用器以及光开关等光子器件的研究。 相似文献

利用激光全息光刻技术, 在重铬酸盐明胶 感光材料中制备了掺杂有机染料的层状光子晶体. 在532 nm纳秒脉冲激光激励下, 样品的荧光光谱表现出良好的带隙特征; 随着抽运能量的增加, 在荧光带隙带边位置获得了激射光, 并进一步研究了光子晶体的带边位置与染料荧光峰的匹配对激射的影响.带边位置越靠近染料的荧光峰, 激射阈值越低, 反之则不易产生激射.该研究为超低阈值光子晶体激光器的发展提供了思路和方法.

光子晶体光纤由于其灵活可调的色散特性用作色散补偿具有极大的应用潜力. 设计了一种色散补偿光子晶体光纤, 并运用频域有限差分法模拟了其色散特性,从理论上分析了其结构参数孔间距Λ和空气占空比d/Λ对该光子晶体光纤的色散系数的影响, 并且实际制备出了3种不同结构参数的光子晶体光纤. 通过对其色散曲线对比分析表明: 当光子晶体光纤孔间距在1 μm附近时, 其色散系数随着孔间距Λ和占空比d/Λ的增大而增加, 但对于孔间距Λ的变化比占空比d/Λ更为敏感, 并且随着孔间距Λ的增加,其对色散系数的影响能力逐渐减小. 设计并制备的光子晶体光纤在1550 nm处的色散系数为-241.5 ps·nm-1·km-1, 相对色散斜率为0.0018, 具有较好的色散补偿能力.
