We investigate the condition that the charge carried by quantum parametric pumping per cycle is quantized in units of the electron charge e and the role of adiabaticity in charge quantization. We investigate this problem for Gaussian random vectors in an infinite dimensional Banach space and in particular, for Gaussian processes. A precise link proved by Fehringer(4) and Dereich et al.
(3) relates lower and upper bounds for small ball probabilities with upper and lower bounds for the quantization error, respectively. We generalize a well-known two-parameter quantization for the group GL
2(k) (over an arbitrary field k). Specifically, a certain class of Hopf algebras is constructed containing that quantization. The algebras are constructed given an arbitrary coalgebra and an arbitrary pair of its commuting anti-isomorphisms, and are defined by quadratic relations. We report a simple TLC densitometric method for the quantification of hecogenin from the leaves of Agave americana using HPTLC. The method was validated for precision, repeatability and accuracy. The method was found to be precise with
RSD of 0.78 (intraday) and 0.82 (interday) for different concentrations of hecogenin. Instrumental precision was 0.42 (% RSD)
for hecogenin. The content of hecogenin in different samples was estimated by the proposed method and was found to be in the
range of 0.05−0.14% w/w in the samples analysed. Accuracy of the method was checked by conducting recovery study at three different levels for hecogenin
and the average percentage recovery was 98.98%, 101.92% and 103.33%, respectively. The TLC densitometric method developed
for the quantification of hecogenin was found to be simple, precise, specific, sensitive, accurate and can be used in routine
quality control.

The Hamiltonian formulation of the usual complex quantum mechanics in the theory of generalized quantum dynamics is discussed.
After the total trace Lagrangian, total trace Hamiltonian and two kinds of Poisson brackets are introduced, both the equations
of motion of some total trace functionals which are expressed by total trace Poisson brackets and the equations of motion
of some operators which are expressed by the without-total-trace Poisson brackets are obtained. Then a set of basic equations
of motion of the usual complex quantum mechanics are obtained, which are also expressed by the Poisson brackets and total
trace Hamiltonian in the generalized quantum dynamics. The set of equations of motion are consistent with the corresponding
Heisenberg equations.

I study poles and zeros of zeta functions in one-dimensional maps. Numerical and analytical arguments are given to show that the first pole of one such zeta function is given by the first zero ofanother zeta function: this describes convergence of the calculations of the first zero, which is generally the physically interesting quantity.
