红外飞秒激光诱导Ce3+掺杂闪烁晶体的上转换发光研究

本文研究了红外飞秒激光照射下Ce3+ 掺杂的YAP和LSO两种闪烁晶体的上转换发光现象.实验发现在飞秒激光泵浦下,这两种晶体的荧光均来自于Ce3+离子的5d-4f跃迁.荧光强度与泵浦光功率之间的依赖关系揭示了Ce3+:YAP和Ce3+:LSO晶体的上转换过程皆由三光子吸收过程所主导.分析表明,Ce3+:YAP和Ce3+:LSO晶体中的三光子吸收是三光子同时吸收.     

Optomechanical-organized multipulse dynamics in ultrafast fiber laser

A novel organized multipulse pattern and its birth dynamics under strong optomechanical effect in microfiber-assisted ultrafast fiber laser are investigated in this work. The background pulses are observed to obviously exhibit selectively amplifying self-organized process of evolving into quasi-stable equidistant clusters. The radio frequency spectrum of the multipulse pattern displays a harmonic mode-locking-like behavior with a repetition rate of 2.0138 GHz, corresponding to the frequency of torsional-radial (TR_2m) acoustic mode in microfiber. The results show the evidence of optomechanical effect in dominating the birth dynamics and pattern of multipulse.     

射流式水冷镜结构优化设计

分析了影响射流式水冷镜形变的各种因素,利用ANSYS有限元分析软件,对各项结构参数对镜体形变的影响进行了数值模拟,探索出射流式水冷镜结构设计的一般规律,得到了镜体结构的优化设计方案。数值结果表明：在镜体直径80 mm、镜面净吸收功率100 W、光斑直径25 mm、使用硅作为镜体材料的情况下,射流式水冷镜镜面最大形变可低至0.07 μm,明显优于其它类型的水冷镜。     

啁啾脉冲堆积宽带激光非线性传输空间调制特性

为避免啁啾脉冲堆积宽带激光的空间调制对光学元件的损坏,数值研究了其非线性传输过程中时域调制对光束空间调制产生与增长的影响。结果表明：光束未叠加空间调制时,若B积分在实际工作范围内,堆积子脉冲间干涉引入时间调制外,叠加与未叠加时间调制,正反常色散情况下光束空间上均不会产生调制,因而也没有调制增长,然而,当B积分进一步增加时,光束空间将产生调制,并能快速增长;当光束引入空间调制后,在反常色散情况下,与时间未额外叠加调制相比,时间额外叠加调制时空间调制增长速度明显加快,而在正常色散时,额外添加时间调制与不添加调制,空间调制增长的差别很小。     

基于飞秒激光直写光纤光栅的掺镱光纤激光器

利用飞秒激光微加工技术,可以在光纤纤芯内直写出布拉格光栅,它与传统的光纤光栅制作方法相比,具有耗时短、无需光敏光纤、周期可任意设定、光栅稳定性高等优点。采用800 nm钛宝石飞秒激光器,在Hi1060光纤内写入一支8 mm长的布拉格光栅,光纤光栅的周期为2.9 μm,这是中心波长为1 042 nm的八阶光纤布拉格光栅。将所得光栅与一段有源的双包层光纤熔接,作为激光输出镜,利用975 nm的LD光纤模块作为泵浦源,采用端泵浦技术构成双包层光纤激光器。双包层光纤采用Nufern公司镱(Yb3+)离子掺杂双包层光纤,光纤长度3 m。所得激光器的输出功率为71.1 W,中心波长1 042 nm,带宽约为0.8 nm。     

Material growth and device fabrication of terahertz quantum-cascade laser based on bound-to-continuum structure

The terahertz quantum-cascade laser （THz QCL） based on bound-to-continuum structure is demonstrated. The X-ray diffraction measurement of the material shows a high crystalline quality of the active region. A THz QCL device was fabricated with semi-insulating surface-plasmon waveguide. The test device is lasing at about 3 THz and operating up to 60 K. It shows a single frequency property under different drive currents and temperatures. At 9 K, the maximum output power is greater than 2 mW with a threshold current density of 159 A/cm2.     

Monodisperse Six-Armed Starbursts based on Truxene-Cored Multibranched Oligofluorenes: Design,Synthesis, and Stabilized Lasing Characteristics

A series of monodisperse six-armed conjugated starbursts ( Tr1F , Tr2F , and Tr3F ) containing a truxene core and multibranched oligofluorene bridges capped with diphenylamine (DPA) units has been designed, synthesized, and investigated as robust gain media for organic semiconductor lasers (OSLs). The influence of electron-rich DPA end groups on their optoelectronic characteristics has been discussed at length. DPA cappers effectively raise HOMO levels of the starbursts, thus enhancing the hole injection and transport ability. Solution-processed electroluminescence devices based on the resulting six-armed starbursts exhibited efficient deep-blue electroluminescence with clear reduced turn-on voltages (3.2–3.5 V). Moreover, the resulting six-armed molecules showed stabilized electroluminescence and amplified spontaneous emission with low thresholds (27.4–63.9 nJ pulse⁻¹), high net gain coefficients (80.1–101.3 cm⁻¹), and small optical loss (2.6–4.4 cm⁻¹). Distributed feedback OSLs made from Tr3F exhibited a low lasing threshold of 0.31 kW cm⁻² (at 465 nm). The results suggest that the construction of truxene-centered six-armed conjugated starbursts with the incorporation of DPA units can effectively enhance EL properties by precisely regulating the HOMO energy levels, and further optimizing their optical gain properties.     

Black phosphorus saturable absorber for ultrafast mode‐locked pulse laser via evanescent field interaction

Black phosphorus, or BP, has found a lot of applications in recent years including photonics. The most recent studies have shown that the material has an excellent optical nonlinearity useful in many areas, one of which is in saturable absorption for passive mode‐locking. A direct interaction scheme for mode‐locking, however, has a potential to optically cause permanent damage to the already delicate material. Evanescent field interaction scheme has already been proven to be a useful method to prevent such danger for other 2‐dimensional nanomaterials. In this report, we have utilized the evanescent field interaction to demonstrate that the optical nonlinear characteristics of BP is sufficiently strong to use in such an indirect interaction method. The successful demonstration of the passive mode‐locking operation has generated pulses with the pulse duration, repetition rate, and time bandwidth product of 2.18 ps, 15.59 MHz, and 0.336, respectively.     

激光光源线宽对外差探测性能的影响

本文根据统计理论分析了激光线宽对外差探测结果的影响, 并讨论了激光线宽对杨氏干涉条纹对比度的影响. 本文基于解析结果做了数值仿真, 所得结果表明激光线宽增加时, 外差探测方式仍可以检测到中频信号, 但在线宽较大时, 受噪声影响无法准确地提取到中频频率. 为验证理论分析结果, 使用线宽为1 MHz的激光光源进行了8.1 km外场实验, 实验结果与数值分析结论一致, 即不会因为线宽增加而无法检测到中频信号. 文中所得结论对于外差探测光源的选择有重要指导意义, 因此根据测量目标的特性和测量要求, 可按照文中结论评估光源的线宽指标.     

基于阿秒抖动光纤锁模激光器的时钟同步

光纤锁模激光器结构简单, 运转稳定, 且输出的超短脉冲序列具有极高的时钟稳定性, 在抽运探测、脉冲相干合成等要求高精度时钟同步的前沿领域有着广阔的应用前景. 本文通过激光器腔内的电光调制器进行反馈控制, 实现了两台光纤锁模激光器之间的紧密时钟信号同步; 并且通过平衡光学互相关方法, 对残余的时钟误差信号进行了测量, 分辨率达到了13 as. 通过优化激光器的腔内动力学过程及反馈环路的参数, 在[1 Hz, 10 MHz]的积分区间内得到了109 as的残余时钟误差, 对应单台激光器的平均时间抖动为77 as.
