Abstract A new epoxy-urea chelating resin was synthesized from epoxy resin and used for the preconcentration and separation of trace Bi(III), In(III), Sn(IV), Zr(IV), V(V) and Ti(IV) ions from solution samples. The analyzed ions can be enriched at pH 5 at a flow rate of 1–4 ml/min, and can be also desorbed with 10 mL of 2 M HCl +0.1g NH4F solution from the resin column, with recoveries over 97%. The chelating resin reused 6 times can still adsorb quantitatively the Bi, In, Sn, Zr, V and Ti ions, and eighty to thousand-fold excesses of Ca(II), Mg(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Al(III), Sb(III), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Fe(III) cause little interference with the enrichment and determination of these ions. The RSDs of the proposed method for the determination of 500–50 ng/ml Bi, In and Sn, 50–5.0 ng/ml Zr, V and Ti were in the range of 0.4 ~ 4.0%, the enrichment factor of the resin for the ions is in the range of 10–100. The recoveries of added standard in waste water are between 96% and 100%, and the concentration of each ion in alloy steel sample determined by the method is in good agreement with the reference value analyzed by a steel plant with average error <2.8%. 相似文献

A thin layer of un-cured resin over metal substrates applied by using an acetone-diluted resin solution (without hardener) has been found to be beneficial to strong adhesive bonding. The resin pre-coating (RPC) solution can effectively seal sub-surface micro-cavities and increase the substrate wettability. This study examines possible aftermath effects of the acetone dilution on mechanical properties of epoxy through comparison of samples made from as-received resin and resins diluted once and twice by acetone. RPC can be accepted with confidence in substrate pre-treatments for strong adhesive bonding if no detrimental effect on epoxy properties is observed. Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR) was conducted, showing the spectrogram of the resin previously diluted by acetone was the same as that of as-received resin, i.e. no change in epoxy molecular structures after complete evaporation of acetone. Strength and modulus of elasticity measured by flexural and compressive tests were compared using samples made from as-received resin, and resins diluted once and twice by acetone. Variations among results from the three groups were less than 2%, or negligible, affirming the RPC method can be used for substrate pre-treatments and stronger adhesive bonding. 相似文献

A protocol for monoacylation of unprotected symmetrical diamines with a resin-bound benzoic acid is described. The nature of the resin (gel-based polystyrene vs highly crosslinked macroporous polystyrene) was found to play a minor role in acylation selectivity. Rather, the concentration of the diamine dictates the ratio of mono- and diacylated products. Thus, by employing a high concentration of symmetrical diamine (e.g., 1 M, 20 equiv), monoacylation can be selectively achieved for a variety of unprotected symmetrical alkyl and aryl diamines. 相似文献
