All-Optical RZ-to-NRZ Format Conversion with a Tunable Fibre Based Delay Interferometer

All-optical format conversion from return-to-zero （RZ） to non-return-to-zero （NRZ） is demonstrated with temperaturecontrolled all-fibre delay interferometer （DI） at 20 Gb/s. The operation principle is theoretical analysed with the help of numerical simulation and spectra analysis. Theoretical analysis results are consistent well with the experimental results. The format conversion can be achieved with power penalty of 0.54 dB and with output extinction ratio 20 dB.     

Transient and Stationary Simulations for a Quantum Hydrodynamic Model

The transient and stationary characteristics of a one-dimensional quantum hydrodynamic model are comparatively studied for semiconductor charge transport in a resonant tunnelling diode. When the bias is not small, our numerical results show a deviation of the asymptotic transient solutions from the stationary ones. A dynamic instability accounts for such deviation. The stationary quantum hydrodynamic model is therefore unsuitable in general for simulating quantum devices.     

Single Mode Er-Doped π-Phase-Shifted Distributed Feedback Fibre Grating Laser

A novel method incorporating the shielded method and the post-processing method has been proposed to fabricate the π-phase-shifted fibre grating. Then an Er-doped π-phase-shifted distributed feedback fibre grating laser has been fabricated using the grating. The laser threshold is 20mW. When pumped with 90mW light at 980nm, the laser gives an output of 1.1mW. Its signal-to-noise ratio is better than 60dB. It is demonstrated that the laser is single mode operation by means of a Fabry--Perot scanning interferometer.     

Lattice Boltzmann Simulation for the Optimized Surface Pattern in a Micro-Channel

Based on the Bhatangar-Gross-Krook （BGK） models, numerical simulation using the lattice Boltzmann model is performed to investigate the optimized surface pattern in a micro-channel. In order to simulate the practical situation correctly, a slip/no-slip boundary condition is applied with making several assumptions. To assess the validity and efficiency of the model, one benchmark problem with considering the surface patterns is studied. Numerical results show the value of rms velocity Vrms increases with the increasing ratio β and larger Reynolds number Re, higher fluctuation of the rms oscillating velocity. Furthermore, the results show that a good mixing effect can be obtained when Re is large enough and the ratio β is about 1.618,which is the appropriate choice, i.e. the well known golden section phenomenon.     

A New Cellular Automata Model Considering Finite Deceleration and Braking Distance

We present a new cellular automata model for one-lane traffic flow. In this model, we consider the driver prejudgment according to the state of the leading car. We also consider that the vehicle deceleration capability is finite and the braking distance of the high-speed running cars cannot be ignored, which is not considered in most models. Furthermore, comfortable driving is considered, too. Using computer simulations we obtain some basic qualitative results and the fundamental diagram of the proposed model. In comparison with the known models, we find that the fundamental diagram of the proposed model is more realistic than that of the known models.     

空气呼吸模式CO2激光等离子体光谱观察

为了了解采用脉冲CO₂激光推进空气呼吸模式时光船参数等对产生等离子体的影响，介绍了利用实验室自行研制的紫外预电离TEA CO₂激光器进行的激光等离子体实验。实验采用底面直径为60mm、焦距为5mm和10mm的抛物面光船。介绍了空气呼吸模式激光等离子体的谱和明显的特征谱线，以及等离子体的时间演化过程。结果表明：空气呼吸模式等离子体的持续时间约为20μs，在6μs左右时信号强度达到最大值；激光脉冲作用后，信号迅速衰减；10mm光船产生的等离子体信号峰值和持续时间均略长于5mm光船的。

一、课题的立题背景 珠算是我国古代的重大发明之一，是我国优秀传统文化宝库中的一颗璀璨的明珠，是我们祖先的智慧的结晶。在长达几千年的历史中，珠算曾对中华民族的经济、文化和科学技术发展做出过巨大贡献。直到今天，随着信息技术的迅猛发展与普及，珠算才渐渐退出了中国人民的主体生活。     

Instrumentation of coherent X-ray imaging and the primary experimental results

Coherent X-ray microscopy has advanced towards higher-energy, more brilliant sources over the past decade since its demonstrations, and many advancements have been made towards optimizing this imaging technique. Here we present both the experimental instrument for obtaining diffraction patterns and the primary reconstruction of yeast cell 2D projection. In addition, the characteristics of the existing optics at BL29XUL of SPring-8 Facility and the method of image reconstruction are discussed.     

基于模糊熵的物流园区效益评估及其开发模式选择

对物流园区效益进行科学的定量评估,是合理选择物流园区开发模式的基本前提.基于模糊熵理论,结合专家打分法建立物流园区效益定量评估体系,遴选出影响物流园区发展的六大主要因素并进行权重赋值;通过对江苏省苏南地区20个物流园区效益的实际测算与比较分析,讨论了三种物流园区开发模式及其选择问题.     

TE011腔使用扁平样品管提高水溶液样品ESR波谱灵敏度的研究

实验表明,在TE₀₁₁模式园柱形腔中,不但可以使用扁平样品管测量水溶液样品的ESR波谱,而且获得好的腔品质因子Q和高品质的ESR信号。所观察到的信号高度,是使用最佳尺寸毛细管样品时最大信号高度的3.2倍;又是在具有波导尺寸的TE₁₀₂腔中使用扁平样品管时所获得信号高度的3倍。本文对此作了定性的理论分析。
