The liquid membrane oscillation of a novel water (aqueous tetradecyl trimethyl ammoniumbromide, TTAB and alcohol solution)/oil (picric acid in chloroform solution)/water (aqueous glucose solution) system was investigated. By using homemade device, the curves of various liquid membranes oscillation with different concentration of TTAB and picric acid, types of alcohol and other organic solvents at different temperature were measured. The results show that the water (aqueous 7 mmol/L of TTAB and 0.5 mol/L of n-propanol solution)/oil (0.5 mmol/L of picric acid in chloroform solution)/water (aqueous glucose solution) system performed sustained and stable oscillation at 30 ℃. And the novel system can recognise added amino acid.  相似文献

A novel double-tailed cationic surfactant, N,N′-didodecylacetamidinium bicarbonate, was prepared by reacting dimethylacetamide dimethyl acetal with dodecylamine, followed by reacting with dry ice. MSD, FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 2D-NMR were used to confirm its structure. The surfactant reduced the surface tension of pure water to 24.7 mN m−1 and its critical micelle concentration was 8.75 × 10−5 M. Formation of vesicle was also observed.  相似文献

In order to study the relationship between the hydrophilic–lipophilic balance of surfactants and the dispersion properties of brine in residue, using droplet size and droplet distribution analytical method were determined on emulsions prepared with emulsifier blends of varying hydrophilic–lipophilic balance (HLB) values the required HLB values of emulsion. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of HLB on the dispersion properties of brine in residue. The type of emulsion was prepared using emulsifiers with various hydrophilic–lipophilic balance values. The droplet size and droplet distribution varied widely among emulsions containing emulsifiers with different HLB values. The results obtained in this study indicate that the different systems of residue/brine need different HLB values. The HLB value of the emulsion with the least dispersion ratio or the least average droplet diameter was taken as the system of residue/brine required HLB the required HLB values of (NH4)6Mo7O24·4H2O, Co(NO3)2, NiSO4, Ni(NO3)2 and FeSO4. The results showed that the values of HLB were determined as different system of emulsion.  相似文献

Basic control operations were successfully performed on an aqueous droplet using both magnetic and electrostatic forces. In our droplet-based microfluidics, magnetic beads were incorporated in an aqueous droplet as a force mediator. This report describes droplet anchoring and separation of the beads from the droplet using a combination of magnetic and electrostatic forces. When an aqueous droplet is placed in an oil-filled reservoir, the droplet sinks to the bottom, under which an electrode had been placed. The droplet was adsorbed (or anchored) to the bottom surface on the electrode when a DC voltage was applied to the electrode. The magnetic beads were removed with magnetic force after the droplet had been anchored. Surfactant addition into droplet solution was very effective for the elimination of electric charge, which resulted in the stable adsorption of a droplet to hydrophobic substrate under an applied voltage of DC 0.5-3 kV. In a sequential process, small volume of aqueous liquid was successfully transferred using both magnetic and electrostatic forces.  相似文献

Various mixed liquid crystals containing crown ether‐cholesteryl liquid crystal, benzo‐15‐crown‐5‐COO‐C27H45 (B15C5‐COOCh), with various common cholesteric liquid crystals, e.g., cholesteryl chloride, cholesteryl benzoate and cholesteryl palmitate, were prepared and studied using polarizing microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. Investigating the concentration effect of B15C5‐COOCh in mixed liquid crystals revealed that the addition of B15C5‐COOCh resulted in wider phase transition temperature ranges of these cholesteryl liquid crystals. The stability of these B15C5‐COOCh/cholesteryl mixed liquid crystals was studied using comprehensive graphic molecular modeling computer programs (Insight II and Discover) to calculate their molecular energy and stability energy. The effect of salts, e.g. Na+, Co3+, Y3+ and La3+, on the transition temperature range of the mixed liquid crystals was also investigated. The crown ether cholesteric liquid crystal B15C5‐COOCh was applied both as a surfactant and an ion transport carrier to transport metal ions through liquid membranes. Cholesteryl benzo‐15‐crown‐5 exhibited distinctive characteristics of a surfactant and the critical micellar concentration (CMC) of the surfactant was investigated by the pyrene fluorescence probe method. Cholesteryl benzo‐15‐crown‐5 was successfully applied as a good ion transport carrier (Ionophore) to transport various metal ions, e.g. Li+, Na+, La3+, Fe3+ and Co3+, through organic liquid membranes. The transport ability of the cholesteryl benzo‐15‐crown‐5 surfactant for these metal ions was in the order: Co3+ ≥ Li+ > Fe3+ > Na+ > La3+.  相似文献

Foam fluids are widely used in petroleum engineering, but long-standing foam stability problems have limited the effectiveness of their use. The study explores the synergistic effects and influencing factors of SiO2 nanoparticles (SiO2-NPs) with different wettability properties and three different surfactants. The paper investigates the foaming performance of different types of surfactants and analyzes and compares the stability of foam after adding hydrophilic and hydrophobic SiO2-NPs from macroscopic as well as microscopic perspectives, and the effects of temperature and inorganic salts on the stability of mixed solutions. The experimental results show that: 1) hydrophilic nanoparticles can significantly enhance the foam stability of amphoteric surfactants, with a small increase in the foam stability of anionic and cationic surfactants; 2) The concentration of nanoparticles did not have a significant effect on the stability of the cationic surfactants and this conclusion was verified in the experimental results of the surface tension measured below;3) The cationic surfactants showed better temperature resistance at temperatures of 50–90 °C. Both amphoteric surfactant solutions with the addition of hydrophilic SiO2-NPs or hydrophobic SiO2-NPs significantly improved the temperature resistance of the foam at high temperatures. The anionic surfactant solution with hydrophobic SiO2-NPs did not enhance the solution temperature resistance; 4) The surface tension of the surfactant solution gradually increases with increasing concentration of hydrophilic or hydrophobic SiO2-NPs and then levels off; 5) the hydrophilic SiO2-NPs had a significant effect on the salt tolerance of the anionic and amphoteric surfactant solutions. The salt tolerance of cationic surfactant solutions with hydrophobic SiO2-NPs was better than that of surfactants with hydrophilic SiO2-NPs.  相似文献

本文把短链离子液体(IL)四氟硼酸1-乙基-3-甲基咪唑鎓[C2mim]BF4引入正负离子表面活性剂十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)和十二烷基三甲基溴化铵(DTAB)双水相体系(SDS/DTAB/H2O)中,研究了IL对双水相相图及相分离体系性质的影响。结果表明,[C2mim]BF4的阳离子性质是影响阴离子表面活性剂过量区域性质的主要因素,IL通过静电作用、氢键作用等改变体系中聚集体的形貌,最终导致阴离子双水相(ATPSa)的消失。IL的阴离子对阳离子双水相(ATPSc)区域性质起着决定作用;IL的盐效应引起的对表面活性剂混合胶束扩散双电层的压缩作用,不但促进胶团的形成,缩短了形成稳定胶团所需要的时间,加快了双水相的相分离速度,而且也造成了形成ATPSc所需DTAB含量的提高。IL的引入改变了ATPSc上、下相表面活性剂的组成及含量,使富含表面活性剂的上相中阳离子表面活性剂含量更高,进而提高了双水相的萃取性能,其上相对甲基橙的萃取效率可高达96.67%。  相似文献

The microscopic thin wetting film method was used to study the stability of wetting films from aqueous solution of surfactants and phospholipid dispersions on a solid surface. In the case of tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (C(14)TAB) films the experimental data for the receding contact angle, film lifetime, surface potential at the vapor/solution and solution/silica interface were used to analyze the stability of the studied films. It is shown that with increasing C(14)TAB concentration charge reversal occurs at both (vapor/solution and solution/silica) interfaces, which affects the thin-film stability. The spontaneous rupture of the thin aqueous film was interpreted in terms of the earlier proposed heterocoagulation mechanism. The presence of the mixed cationic/anionic surfactants was found to lower contact angles and suppresses the thin aqueous film rupture, thus inducing longer film lifetime, as compared to the pure amine system. In the case of mixed surfactants hetero-coagulation could arise through the formation of ionic surfactant complexes. The influence of the melting phase-transition temperature T(c) of the dimyristoylphosphatiddylcholine (DMPC) on the stability of thin films from dispersions of DMPC small unilamellar vesicles on a silica surface was studied by measuring the film lifetime and the TPC expansion rate. The stability of thin wetting films formed from dispersions of DMPC small unilamellar vesicles was investigated by the microinterferometric method. The formation of wetting films from diluted dispersions of DMPC multilamellar vesicles was studied in the temperature range 25-32 degrees C. The stability of thin film of lipid vesicles was explained on the basis of hydrophobic interactions. The results obtained show that the stability of wetting films from aqueous solutions of single cationic and mixed cationic-anionic surfactants has electrostatic origin, whereas the stability of the phospholipid film is due to hydrophobic interaction.  相似文献

A selective method for the determination of l-glutamate in foodstuffs has been developed. It was based on the competition established between the analyte and the dye Coomassie brilliant blue G (CBBG) to interact with the surfactant didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDABr). The measurement parameter was the amount of DDABr required to reach a given dye-to-surfactant binding degree. It was obtained by photometric titration on the basis of the changes observed in the spectral characteristics of the dye when CBBG–DDABr aggregates were formed. The calibration graph obtained was linear in the l-glutamate concentration interval 0.2–5 mM (detection limit 0.05 mM). The high selectivity of the proposed method (other amino acids and food additives did not interfere at the concentrations present in foodstuffs) permitted the direct analysis of food samples after dissolution of the analyte in hot water. The accuracy of the surfactant to the dye binding degree method was demonstrated by determining l-glutamate in different kinds of foodstuffs (liquid and dried soups, seasonings, pasta sauces and dried mushroom creams) and comparing the results obtained with those provided by the commercial Boehringer Mannheim essay.  相似文献

The interaction of a cationic water-soluble porphyrin, 5,10,15,20-tetrakis [4-(3-pyridiniumpropoxy)phenyl]porphyrin tetrakisbromide (TPPOC3Py), with anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), in aqueous solution has been studied by means of UV-vis, (1)H NMR, fluorescence, circular dichroism (CD) spectra and dynamic laser light scattering (DLLS), and it reveals that TPPOC3Py forms porphyrin-surfactant complexes (aggregates), including ordered structures J- and H-aggregates, induced by association with surfactant monomers below the SDS critical micelle concentration (cmc), and forms micellized monomer upon the cmc, respectively. The position of TPPOC3Py in the micelle is determined, which is not in the micelle core instead of intercalated among the SDS chains, most likely with the pyridinium group extending into the polar headgroup region of the micelle.  相似文献
