Let W be a finite Coxeter group acting linearly on Rn. In this article we study the support properties of a W-invariant partial differential operator D on Rn with real analytic coefficients. Our assumption is that the principal symbol of D has a special form, related to the root system corresponding to W. In particular the zeros of the principal symbol are supposed to be located on hyperplanes fixed by reflections in W. We show that conv(suppDf)=conv(suppf) holds for all compactly supported smooth functions f so that conv(suppf) is W-invariant. The main tools in the proof are Holmgren's uniqueness theorem and some elementary convex geometry. Several examples and applications linked to the theory of special functions associated with root systems are presented.  相似文献

Accurate forecasting of rainfall has been one of the most important issues in hydrological research. Due to rainfall forecasting involves a rather complex nonlinear data pattern; there are lots of novel forecasting approaches to improve the forecasting accuracy. Recurrent artificial neural networks (RNNS) have played a crucial role in forecasting rainfall data. Meanwhile, support vector machines (SVMs) have been successfully employed to solve nonlinear regression and time series problems. This investigation elucidates the feasibility of hybrid model of RNNs and SVMs, namely RSVR, to forecast rainfall depth values. Moreover, chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm (CPSO) is employed to choose the parameters of a SVR model. Subsequently, example of rainfall values during typhoon periods from Northern Taiwan is used to illustrate the proposed RSVRCPSO model. The empirical results reveal that the proposed model yields well forecasting performance, RSVRCPSO model provides a promising alternative for forecasting rainfall values.  相似文献

针对水质中被测物硝酸盐与干扰物铁离子、铬离子紫外吸收谱线严重重叠的问题,将支持向量机应用于混合重叠光谱分析中,利用核函数将重叠的光谱数据进行高维空间变换后求得SVM回归模型,实现硝酸盐含量的光谱检测。实验结果表明:硝酸盐浓度在0.5—10mg/L范围内,所测得含量的最大相对误差为3.2%;平均回收率为100.9%,本法与传统的方法相比,要求条件较低,不需要物理或化学的分离,分析速度快,有望应用于在线监测污水中硝酸盐的含量。  相似文献

In this paper we introduce a convergence concept for closed convex subsets of a finite-dimensional normed vector space. This convergence is called C-convergence. It is defined by appropriate notions of upper and lower limits. We compare this convergence with the well-known Painlevé-Kuratowski convergence and with scalar convergence. In fact, we show that a sequence (An)nNC-converges to A if and only if the corresponding support functions converge pointwise, except at relative boundary points of the domain of the support function of A, to the support function of A.  相似文献

Predicting O-glycosylation sites in mammalian proteins by using SVMs   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
O-glycosylation is one of the most important, frequent and complex post-translational modifications. This modification can activate and affect protein functions. Here, we present three support vector machines models based on physical properties, 0/1 system, and the system combining the above two features. The prediction accuracies of the three models have reached 0.82, 0.85 and 0.85, respectively. The accuracies of the three SVMs methods were evaluated by 'leave-one-out' cross validation. This approach provides a useful tool to help identify the O-glycosylation sites in mammalian proteins. An online prediction web server is available at http://www.biosino.org/Oglyc.  相似文献

We present a theory of ultradistributional boundary values for harmonic functions defined on the Euclidean unit ball. We also give a characterization of ultradifferentiable functions and ultradistributions on the sphere in terms of their spherical harmonic expansions. To this end, we obtain explicit estimates for partial derivatives of spherical harmonics, which are of independent interest and refine earlier estimates by Calderón and Zygmund. We apply our results to characterize the support of ultradistributions on the sphere via Abel summability of their spherical harmonic expansions.  相似文献

Given a stochastic differential equation with path-dependent coefficients driven by a multidimensional Wiener process, we show that the support of the law of the solution is given by the image of the Cameron–Martin space under the flow of mild solutions to a system of path-dependent ordinary differential equations. Our result extends the Stroock–Varadhan support theorem for diffusion processes to the case of SDEs with path-dependent coefficients. The proof is based on functional Itô calculus.  相似文献

In this article, we carry out a rough paths analysis for Banach space-valued Wiener processes. We show that most of the features of the classical Wiener process pertain to its rough path analog. To be more precise, the enhanced process has the same scaling properties and it satisfies a Fernique type theorem, a support theorem and a large deviation principle in the same Hölder topologies as the classical Wiener process does. Moreover, the canonical rough paths of finite dimensional approximating Wiener processes converge to the enhanced Wiener process. Finally, a new criterion for the existence of the enhanced Wiener process is provided which is based on compact embeddings. This criterion is particularly handy when analyzing Kunita flows by means of rough paths analysis which is the topic of a forthcoming article.  相似文献

In Korea, many forms of credit guarantees have been issued to fund small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with a high degree of growth potential in technology. However, a high default rate among funded SMEs has been reported. In order to effectively manage such governmental funds, it is important to develop an accurate scoring model for selecting promising SMEs. This paper provides a support vector machines (SVM) model to predict the default of funded SMEs, considering various input variables such as financial ratios, economic indicators, and technology evaluation factors. The results show that the accuracy performance of the SVM model is better than that of back-propagation neural networks (BPNs) and logistic regression. It is expected that the proposed model can be applied to a wide range of technology evaluation and loan or investment decisions for technology-based SMEs.  相似文献

支持向量机在近十年成为机器学习的主要学习技术,而且已经成功应用到有监督学习问题中。Fung和Mangasarian利用支持向量机对于既有已标类别样本又有未知类别样本的训练集进行训练,方法主要是利用少量已标明类别的样本进行训练得到一个分类器的同时对于未标明类别的样本进行分类,使得间隔最大化。此优化问题中假定样本是精确的,而在现实生活中,样本通常带有统计误差。因此,考虑样本带有扰动信息的半监督两类分类问题,给出鲁棒半监督v-支持向量分类算法。该算法的参数v易于选择,而数值试验也表明该算法具有良好的稳定性和较好的分类结果。  相似文献
