The Ag diffusion in superconducting YBa2Cu3O7 (YBaCuO) ceramic has been studied over the duration of the diffusion range 5-24 h in the temperature range 700-850 °C by the energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique. For the excitation of silver atoms, an annular Am-241 radioisotope source (50 mCi) emitting 59.543 keV photons was used. The temperature dependences of silver diffusion coefficients in grains (D1) and over the grain boundaries in the range 700-850 °C (D2) are described by the relations D1=1.4×10−2 exp[−(1.18±0.10)/kT] and D2=3.1×10−4 exp[−(0.87±0.10)/kT].  相似文献

Accurate analysis of over voltage in the superconducting solenoid during a quench is one of the basis for quench protection system design. Classical quench simulation methods can only give rough estimation of the over voltage within a magnet coil. In this paper, for multi-sectioned superconducting solenoid, based on the classical assumption of ellipsoidal normal zone, three-dimension temperature results are mapped to one-dimension along the wire, the temperature distribution along the wire and the resistances of each turn are obtained. The coil is treated as circuit comprised of turn resistances, turn self and mutual inductances. The turn resistive voltage, turn inductive voltage, and turn resultant voltage along the wire are calculated. As a result, the maximum internal voltages, the layer-to-layer voltages and the turn-to-turn voltages are better estimated. Utilizing this method, the over voltage in a small solenoid and a large solenoid during quenching have been studied. The result shows that this method can well improve the over voltage estimate, especially when the coil is larger.  相似文献

Development of a novel drug delivery system was made to accumulate/navigate magnetic drugs with the help of a superconducting magnet in order to control the drugs in blood vessels located deep inside the body. In the present paper, we tested the feasibility of a novel navigation system, made by applying a strong external (magnetic) field through SmBaCuO and YBaCuO bulk superconductors in order to realize the practice of using externally applied magnetic fields for targeting the magnetic particles to a circumscribed body region.  相似文献

In order to carry on ECRH experiments and research on HL-2A tokamak, two sets of 4 mm gyrotrons were imported from GYCOM. Each of them has a superconducting magnet system to offer a required magnetic field configuration. In gyrotron, a strong magnetic field is necessary for electron beam to satisfy the electron cyclotron resonance condition and to excite one the eigemodes in the cavity. Its functions are: (I) to make electrons gyrate, ( 2 ) to offer enough adiabatic compression value to make electrons acquire strong transverse energy. During the period of adjustment, magnetic field distribution was measured. Meanwhile, operating current of superconducting magnet and operating frequency of gyrotron were determined.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental magnetizations of lead nanowire arrays well below the superconducting transition temperature Tc are described. The magnetic response of the array was investigated with a SQUID magnetometer. Hysteretic behaviour and phase transitions have been observed in sweeping up and down the external magnetic field at different temperatures. The Meissner and Abrikosov states were also experimentally observed in this apparently type-I superconductor. This fact brings to the fore the non-trivial behaviour of the critical boundary κ c ( = 1/ in bulk materials) between type-I and type-II phase transitions at mesoscopic scales. The time-independent Ginzburg-Landau equations particularized to cylindrically symmetric configurations enable one to explain and reproduce the experimental magnetization curves within 10% of error. A digital superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) has the potential for a very large dynamic range and a very high slew rate. Our concept of the digital SQUID consists of a double relaxation oscillation SQUID (DROS) with the complete flux locked loop (FLL) electronics on one single chip. The key element of the FLL circuitry is a superconducting up-down counter, which supplies the feedback flux to the DROS. In this paper we will concentrate on the numerical simulations of our new 100 MHz smart DROS. In this new design, the quantization unit of the feedback flux, δΦfb=52 mΦ0, was optimized with respect to the flux noise of the DROS. By doing so, the flux slew rate was maximized without compromising the sensitivity. The optimization resulted in a maximum flux slew rate of δΦsigt=5×106Φ0/s.  相似文献

A new coupling scheme of the external microwave signal for a digital-to-analog converter based on series arrays of high-temperature superconducting Josephson junctions has been proposed. It is suggested to couple the meander-like array inductively to a parallel microwave transmission line. Within the resistively shunted junction model different types of microwave coupling structures were analyzed with the goal to reduce the mutual phase locking and to achieve high output power and phase-locking stability. A harmonic balance technique was used to derive an analytic expression connecting the amplitudes of microwave voltages and currents in the array and the frequency of the external signal. Numerical simulations were performed to determine the boundaries of stable locking as a function of circuit parameters.  相似文献

We investigate theoretically a Fano interferometer composed by STM and AFM tips close to a Kitaev dimer of superconducting adatoms, in which the adatom placed under the AFM tip, encloses a pair of Majorana fermions (MFs). For the binding energy Δ of the Cooper pair delocalized into the adatoms under the tips coincident with the tunneling amplitude t between them, namely Δ=t, we find that only one MF beneath the AFM tip hybridizes with the adatom coupled to the STM tips. As a result, a gate invariance feature emerges: the Fano profile of the transmittance rises as an invariant quantity depending upon the STM tips Fermi energy, due to the symmetric swap in the gate potential of the AFM tip.  相似文献
