Summary A sintering process of Bi−Ca−Sr−Cu−O superconductor is reported. The electrical and microstructural analysis of the pellets shows the coexistence ofB andC phases with transition temperatures of about 85 K and 105 K, respectively.  相似文献

The report is dedicated to the results of AC-loss measurements in the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) Nb3Sn strand and ITER design subsize cable samples. The test facility described below includes the set of superconducting magnet systems furnished with boil-off calorimetric inserts and calorimetric schemes including gas-flow meters. The calorimetric method and the magnetization loop recording method were used simultaneously for the AC-loss measurements. The coincidence between the results of both measuring techniques was confirmed. The original calorimetric scheme makes it possible to measure the released energy during one pulse of the magnet field. The results of AC loss measurements in ITER subsize conductor samples manufactured in Russia are given as an example.  相似文献

Possibilities of determing the complex conductivity of thin super-conducting films using far-infrared and submillimeter reflectivity and transmissivity techniques are discussed. It is shown that within the framework of standard approaches a satisfactory accuracy is available only for the imaginary part of the conductivity (dielectric permittivity). Different resonator methods are suggested for measuring the real part of the conductivity. Data for superconducting NbN films at frequencies 3 – 25 cm–1 are presented.  相似文献

Summary Epitaxial (001)-oriented ultrathin YBCO films of different thicknesses are deposited by Inverted Cylindrical Magnetron Sputtering (ICMS) on (100) MgO single-crystal substrates. The mean films stoichiometry is determined by Rutherford Backscattering (RBS). Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy (XPS) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) are employed in order to analyse film growth, and identify spurious phases present in the samples. We consider an asymmetric two-junction superconducting quantum interference device, whose junctions are assumed to be overdamped, and regard Sin Fourier series for their current-phase relations. We take into account the effects of thermal fluctuations by forming a two-dimensional Fokker-Planck equation for the distribution function. We judge a series expansion of first order with respect to the components of the reduced inductance for distribution function and obtain current-voltage relation. We consider the measured resistance of the superconducting nanowire quantum interference device with mesoscopic leads that Hopkins et al. reported in Hopkins et al. [D.S. Hopkins, D. Pekker, P.M. Goldbart, A. Bezryadin, Science 308 (2005) 1762] and analyzed in Pekker et al. [D. Pekker, A. Bezryadin, D.S. Hopkins, P.M. Goldbart, Phys. Rev. B 72 (2005) 104517], by defining loop inductance, and by considering appropriate relations for resistance of nanowires. In fact we extend Chesca formulation [B. Chesca, J. Low Temp. Phys. 112 (1998) 165] simultaneously in three aspects and give a unified theory for nanowire two-junction devices, low Tc and high Tc DC SQUIDs, in restricted conditions.  相似文献

This paper researches mainly the radiation characteristics of the target and detecting techniques by superconducting detector in the submillimeter wave(SMMW) region. The calculation of transition wavelength(TW) between Planck and Rayleigh-Jeans is given out. The experiment of detecting different targets is finished by use of superconducting detector possessing high performances. Through the experiments in paper we can select and determine the wave bands of SMMW detecting and imaging system. The many novel theoretical analyses and experimental results are expressed in Figs and tables of the paper. Finally, a part of calculating results and experimental datum detected by a superconducting detector in SMMW regions are given in this paper.  相似文献

A novel type of the zero-biased thermo-electric bolometer (TEB) is proposed. The bolometer is based on a charge-to-voltage converter (CVC) with a superconductor–insulator–normal (SIN) tunnel junction and a superconducting absorber. The absorption of photons in the absorber leads to excitation of quasiparticles with some fraction of charge imbalance, tunneling through the SIN junction in zero-biased mode and generation of voltage. The thermoelectric voltage is determined by accumulation of tunneling charge in an external capacitance. Conversion efficiency is very high and voltage values comparable with a superconducting gap are easily achieved. The zero-biased CVC–TEB can be effectively used for creation of an array of bolometers and multi-pixel detection systems.  相似文献

A double SQUID manipulated by fast magnetic flux pulses can be used as a tunable flux qubit. In this paper we study the requirements for the qubit operation and evaluate the dissipation and decoherence due to the manipulation, with particular attention to the contribution related to the applied tuning control, not present in simpler flux qubits. Furthermore, we shortly discuss the possibility to use an integrated Rapid Single Flux Quantum logic for the qubit control.  相似文献
