Various models of 2-player stopping games have been considered which assume that players simultaneously observe a sequence of objects. Nash equilibria for such games can be found by first solving the optimal stopping problems arising when one player remains and then defining by recursion the normal form of the game played at each stage when both players are still searching (a 2 × 2 matrix game). The model considered here assumes that Player 1 always observes an object before Player 2. If Player 1 accepts the object, then Player 2 does not see that object. If Player 1 rejects an object, then Player 2 observes it and may choose to accept or reject it. It is shown that such a game can be solved using recursion by solving appropriately defined subgames, which are played at each moment when both players are still searching. In these subgames Player 1 chooses a threshold, such that an object is accepted iff its value is above this threshold. The strategy of Player 2 in this subgame is a stopping rule to be used when Player 1 accepts this object, together with a threshold to be used when Player 1 rejects the object. Whenever the payoff of Player 1 does not depend on the value of the object taken by Player 2, such a game can be treated as two optimisation problems. Two examples are given to illustrate these approaches.  相似文献

A new index of power for simple n-person games. International Journal of Game Theory 7, 113–123], and Holler [Holler, M.J., 1982. Forming coalitions and measuring voting power. Political Studies 30, 262–271] proposed three power indices for simple games: Johnston index, Deegan–Packel index, and the Public Good Index. In this paper, methods to compute these indices by means of the multilinear extension of the game are presented. Furthermore, a new characterization of the Public Good Index is given. 高功率密度包层的热结构力学分析与优化   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
高功率密度包层BFEB是以混合堆FEB的堆芯参数和真空室尺寸为依据,设计用于嬗变核废物的。在工程设计阶段的构件结构力学分析时,首先进行了热结构力学的分析与优化。对包层模件,采用Pro/ENGINEER2000i2设计制图编码建立模型后,用Pro/MECHANICA2000i2功能编码进行热结构力学分析,即稳态热分析和稳态热应力分析。在机械构件材料和气氦冷却状态确定的情况下,通过优化分析,减小了作用于包层构件的表面热负载的分布起伏,即减小裂变功率密度沿包层各区的分布起伏。通过增大氦冷却管板屏的拱弧曲率与圆角以及对其与氦汇流腔的焊接采用优化的深度电子束焊接工艺等优化措施后,计算结果表明:采用HT9铁素体钢制作的包层构件的最高温度为350℃,最大剪应力≤80MPa。包层机械构件将具有良好的热结构力学安全裕度。  相似文献

The power law process has been used to model reliability growth, software reliability and the failure times of repairable systems. This article reviews and further develops Bayesian inference for such a process. The Bayesian approach provides a unified methodology for dealing with both time and failure truncated data. As well as looking at the posterior densities of the parameters of the power law process, inference for the expected number of failures and the probability of no failures in some given time interval is discussed. Aspects of the prediction problem are examined. The results are illustrated with two data examples.  相似文献
