Reactivity of M(en)Cl2 (M = Pd/Pt,en = 1,2-diaminoethane) with N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-p-phenylenediamine: Binding with hexafluorobenzene

Schiff base N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-p-phenylenediamine (LH₂) complexed with Pt(en)Cl₂ and Pd(en)Cl₂ provided [Pt(en)L]₂ · 4PF₆ (1) and Pd(Salen) (2) (Salen = N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-ethylenediamine), respectively, which were characterized by their elemental analysis, spectroscopic data and X-ray data. A solid complex obtained by the reaction of hexafluorobenzene (hfb) with the representative complex 1 has been isolated and characterized as 3 (1 · hfb) using UV–Vis, NMR (¹H, ¹³C and ¹⁹F) data. A solid complex of hfb with a reported Zn-cyclophane 4 has also been prepared and characterized 5 (4 · hfb) for comparison with complex 3. The association of hfb with 1 and 4 has also been monitored using UV–Vis and luminescence data.     

Synthesis and solid-state structural characterisation of Pt(II,IV) bromide complexes containing bidentate organothiomethylpyridine heteroleptic ligands

A convenient synthetic method for the preparation of organothiomethylpyridine ligands 2-(RSCH₂)C₅H₄N (R = Ph (L¹), Me (L²)), 2-MeS–6-Me-C₅H₃N (L³), and 2-MeS–4-Me-C₅H₃N (L⁴) via the initial lithiation of substituted 2-picolines followed by the nucleophilic reaction with a diorganyldisulfide is described. The complexes [PtBr₂L] (L = L¹–L⁴) have been prepared in good to high yields as yellow solids with low solubility in organic solvents. The solid state structures of the complexes have been determined, showing the spatial arrangement of the complexes to depend significantly upon varying substituents within the ligand. The complexes undergo oxidation by bromine to form the tetravalent complexes [PtBr₄(L)] (L = L¹–L⁴). The solid state structures of [PtBr₄(L²)] and [PtBr₄(L₄)] have been determined, and shown to be monomeric with the ligand chelating the platinum centre.     

DKDP晶体的柱面形貌与缺陷分析

采用原子力显微镜观测全方位生长的DKDP晶体的{100}面形貌,发现有螺旋位错,由此推断DKDP晶体{100}面以螺旋位错机制生长;利用同步辐射X射线白光形貌术观测了DKDP晶体缺陷,探讨了不同生长条件及生长阶段对晶体完整性的影响.     

碲锌镉晶体晶格畸变的测定与分析

在高分辨X射线衍射仪上,利用不对称布拉格衍射STD技术与单晶摇摆曲线技术相结合的方法,对碲锌镉单晶材料的晶格畸变进行了分析测定.此方法实现了一次装样,多角度、多次测定晶体的摇摆曲线,从而利用多组实验数据完成多元线性回归方程组的求解,避开了一般应变测定方法中难以确定无应力状态下衍射角的问题.所测定的生长态碲锌镉晶片晶格畸变量为10-3～10-2数量级,该畸变量是碲锌镉晶片存在成份偏析、位错和空位等缺陷以及晶片受到的应力综合作用的结果.     

X-ray diffraction study of mesogenic 4-methoxyphenyl-4′-n-nonyloxybenzoate

4-methoxyphenyl-4′-n-nonyloxybenzoate have been investigated by single crystal X-ray structural analysis. Crystal packing of the compounds does not represent a precursor of the mesophse although the typical for liquid crystal compounds separation of crystal packing on aromatic and aliphatic areas is observed here. Possible reason for monotropic properties are discussed.     

Application of a synchrotron microprobe to the analytical characterization of ion-implanted material

A synchrotron microprobe has been used to characterize ion implantations of nickel and cobalt in silicon (100) or (111) wafers. The synchrotron radiation is collimated by means of a rigid cylindrical glass capillary of 110 mm length, 5 mm outer and 30 μm or 10 μm inner diameter. The beam is pointed at the wafer sample and the emitted radiation of X-rays is detected by an energy dispersive spectrometer. Line scans are recorded step by step over the implantation areas and across their borders. The sharpness of the borders is characterized at a lateral resolution of 13 μm and the edge lengths ranging from 0.6 to 8 mm are determined with an accuracy better than ± 20 μm. The signal intensity and implantation dose of cobalt ranging from 1 × 10¹⁵ to 1 × 10¹⁷ ions cm⁻² show a linear relationship as is to be expected for the micrometre thin implanted layers.     

The synthesis and evaluation of unsymmetrical dimeric X-ray contrast agents

Novel dimeric iodinated contrast agents with low osmolality have been prepared and evaluated with the aim of improving the already good safety profile of such agents. The aim of low osmolality was achieved, and the viscosity of these dimeric agents was also found to be beneficially lower than current dimeric agents in clinical use.     

多晶薄膜X-射线衍射

作者在普通X-射线衍射仪上实施了样品倾斜X-射线衍射(STD)技术,不需要专用薄膜附件(TFA)也能很好地进行薄膜结构的测定,并且给出其衍射能量方程和方位角方程,从而使理论、实验和结构解析结合为一体。目前,应用该技术已经成功地解决了一些其它简便方法所无法解决的诸如物相纵向分布变化测量等问题。本文还通过几种摩擦学用膜的测定结果阐明了该技术的应用及功能。
