The paper discusses the influence of an amorphous oligomer (namely hydrogenated oligocyclopentadiene — HOCP) on the morphology and the phase structure of its blends with several polyolefins as a function of composition and crystallization conditions. In particular the following polyolefins were studied: high-density polyethylene (HDPE), isotactic polypropylene (IPP), poly(l-butene) (PB-1), and poly(4-methyl pentene-1) (P4MP1). The blends under investigation are complex polymer systems. In fact, in dependence on temperature, blend composition, and cooling rate, they assume different morphologies and consequently show different thermal and mechanical behaviors. In the solid state the blends form a generally three-phase system: a crystalline phase of polyolefin and two amorphous phases, one rich in the amorphous polyolefin and the other in HOCP. The crystallization process and the properties are determined by the morphology and the phase structure, as well as by the physical state of the HOCP-rich phase.  相似文献

The possibilities of applying the pure Lagrangian vortex methods of computational fluid dynamics to viscous incompressible flow simulations are considered in relation to various problem formulations. The modification of vortex methods—the Viscous Vortex Domain method—is used which is implemented in the VM2D code developed by the authors. Problems of flow simulation around airfoils with different shapes at various Reynolds numbers are considered: the Blasius problem, the flow around circular cylinders at different Reynolds numbers, the flow around a wing airfoil at the Reynolds numbers 104 and 105, the flow around two closely spaced circular cylinders and the flow around rectangular airfoils with a different chord to the thickness ratio. In addition, the problem of the internal flow modeling in the channel with a backward-facing step is considered. To store the results of the calculations, the POD technique is used, which, in addition, allows one to investigate the structure of the flow and obtain some additional information about the properties of flow regimes.  相似文献

The turbulent wake behind a curved circular cylinder is investigated based on data obtained from a direct numerical simulation. Here, emphasis is placed in the assessment of two approaches for simplified modelling: reduced-order modelling (ROM) and Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations. To this end, the instantaneous vortical structures, the proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) of the flow, and relevant Reynolds stress components have been analysed. The results show that despite the complexity of the instantaneous vortical structures, the wake dynamics are governed by the quasi-periodic shedding of primary vortices. Between 24% and 50% of the kinetic energy in the POD is captured by the two most energetic modes, and about 200 modes are needed to capture 90% of the kinetic energy. These findings suggest that, as long as the large-scale structures of the von Kármán vortex shedding are concerned, the present case can be approached by ROM; but a detailed representation of the flow dynamics without an eddy viscosity model that accounts for the unresolved turbulent fluctuations would require a large amount of degrees of freedom. Concerning the Reynolds stresses, their magnitude varies considerably depending on the depth at which they have been sampled. This dependence is related to the strength of the vortex shedding, and the intensity of the secondary flows induced by the curvature of the cylinder. As a consequence of the combination of these two effects, the correlation between streamwise and vertical velocity fluctuations is highest in the wake behind the midspan of the curved cylinder, and the correlation between cross-flow and vertical velocity fluctuations reaches large values in the lower wake.  相似文献

Mixing and heat transfer processes of the granular materials within rotary cylinders play a key role in industrial processes. The numerical simulation is carried out by using the discrete element method (DEM) to investigate the influences of material properties on the bed mixing and heat transfer process, including heat conductivity, heat capacity, and shear modulus. Moreover, a new Pe′clet number is derived to determine the dominant mechanism of the heating rate within the particle bed, which is directly related to thermal and mechanical properties. The system exhibits a faster heating rate with the increase of ratio of thermal conductivity and heat capacity, or the decrease of shear modulus when inter-particle conduction dominates the heating rate; conversely, it shows a fast-mixing bed when particle convection governs the heating rate. The simulation results show good agreement with the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

对差分干涉计算机层析技术诊断激波加载下气柱界面不稳定性的可行性进行初步理论和实验研究。针对有限投影数的联合代数重建算法,提出了一种新的投影矩阵计算方法,采用特定投影方向,各投影方向具有不同采样间隔。投影方向的对称性和投影线的规律性使计算过程大为减化。用该重建算法对气柱密度场进行数值模拟,结果表明4方向投影能够重建激波作用下气柱演化初期的体密度场,8方向投影基本能够重建演化中期的体密度场。用差分干涉系统对激波管气柱进行3方向诊断的实验结果表明,差分干涉计算机层析技术用于激波冲击下的气柱不稳定性密度场诊断是可行的。  相似文献

The rotational Raman spectra of four vapor phase isotopic methanols, CH3OH, CH3OD, CD3OH and CD3OD, have been reported for the first time in the wavenumber regions from 5 to 100–120 cm?1. The major parts of the spectra consist of bands equispaced at 3.19, 3.04, 2.56 and 2.46 cm?1 intervals, respectively, and have been interpreted as the pure rotational S-branch transitions.  相似文献

In this article we study the spatial behaviour of solutions for the three-phase-lag heat equation on a semi-infinite cylinder. First, we investigate the spatial evolution of solutions of an initial boundary-value problem with zero boundary conditions on the lateral surface of the cylinder. Under null initial data, a Phragmen–Lindelof alternative is obtained. An upper bound for the amplitude term in terms of the boundary data is also established. For the case of decay solutions, an improvement is obtained. We prove that the decay can be controlled by the exponential of a second-degree polynomial in the distance from the finite end of the cylinder. A class of non-standard problems is also considered for which the temperature and its first two time derivatives at a fixed time T 0 are assumed proportional to their initial values. These results are relevant in the context of the Saint-Venant Principle for heat conduction problems.  相似文献
