This paper explores a class of supply contracts under which a buyer receives discounts for committing to purchases in advance. The further in advance the commitment is made, the larger the discount. As time rolls forward, the buyer can increase the order quantities for future periods of the rolling horizon based on updated demand forecast information and inventory status. However, the buyer pays a higher per-unit cost for the incremental units. Such contracts are used by automobile and contract manufacturers, and are quite common in fuel oil and natural gas delivery markets. We develop a finite-horizon dynamic programming model to characterize the structure of the optimal replenishment strategy for the buyer. We present heuristic approaches to calculate the order volume in each period of the rolling horizon. Finally, we numerically evaluate the heuristic approaches and draw some managerial insights based on the findings.  相似文献

A carbothermal reaction route to Ge nanoparticle homogeneously encapsulated hollow carbon boxes from NH4H3Ge2O6/resorcinol formaldehyde precursors is designed, using NH4H3Ge2O6 as a Ge precursor from commercial GeO2 and NH4OH. The Ge/C hybrid anode for sodium ion battery displays a higher Na+ storage capacity of 346 mA h g?1 after 500 cycles at a current density of 100 mA h g?1, almost approaching the theoretical capacity of Ge. Furthermore, Ge/C anode shows significantly improved electrochemical performance for Li+ storage, showing a higher initial Coulombic efficiency of 85.1% and a superior reversible capacity of 1336 mA h g?1 at a high current density of 200 mA g?1 after 150 cycles. An excellent rate capability with a capacity of 825 mA h g?1 at a current density of 4.0 A g?1 can be obtained based on Ge/C anodes. The enhanced electrochemical performance can be attributed to the unique microstructures of Ge/C hybrid anode. The internal void space of hollow carbon boxes can accommodate the volume expansion of Ge during lithiation or sodiation process, thus preserving the structural integrity of electrode material. The interconnected carbon shell can increase the electronic conductivity of the electrode, resulting in the high rate capability and cycling stability.  相似文献

Contact models that simulate rotational resistance at particle contacts have been proposed as a means to capture the effect of shape in DEM simulations. This contribution critically explores some key issues related to the implementation of rotational resistance models; these include the need for physically meaningful model parameters, the impact of the model on the overall numerical stability/critical time increment for the DEM model, model validation, and the assessment of model performance relative to real physical materials. The discussion is centred around a rotational resistance model that captures the resistance provided by interlocking asperities on the particle surface. An expression for the maximum permissible integration time step to ensure numerical stability is derived for DEM simulations when rotational resistance is incorporated. Analytical solutions for some single-contact scenarios are derived for model validation. The ability of this type of model to provide additional fundamental insight into granular material behaviour is demonstrated using particle-scale analysis of triaxial compression simulations to examine the roles that contact rolling and sliding have on the stability of strong force chains.  相似文献

大面阵滤光片阵列多光谱成像仪采用了全帧转移大面阵探测器,并利用机械快门保证采集数据时不发生拖尾现象,但由于机械快门开合时间的不稳定性,使多光谱成像仪数据出现区域间的亮度不均匀,而且还会造成彩色图像偏色条带。故提出了一种基于目标辐射一致性的相对辐射定标方法,利用图像重叠部分的辐射特性,计算光谱图像的辐射矫正因子,对拼接图像的非均匀性进行矫正。并利用差分评价矫正效果。最后对多光谱相机采集的外场实验数据进行处理和矫正,结果表明,该方法可以很好的矫正单色拼接图像区域间的非均匀性,并可以消除彩色合成图像中的偏色条带;适用于有重叠部分的图像拼接,并且对于拼接误差不敏感。  相似文献

The goal of infrared (IR) and visible image fusion is to produce a more informative image for human observation or some other computer vision tasks. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-scale fusion method based on visual saliency map (VSM) and weighted least square (WLS) optimization, aiming to overcome some common deficiencies of conventional methods. Firstly, we introduce a multi-scale decomposition (MSD) using the rolling guidance filter (RGF) and Gaussian filter to decompose input images into base and detail layers. Compared with conventional MSDs, this MSD can achieve the unique property of preserving the information of specific scales and reducing halos near edges. Secondly, we argue that the base layers obtained by most MSDs would contain a certain amount of residual low-frequency information, which is important for controlling the contrast and overall visual appearance of the fused image, and the conventional “averaging” fusion scheme is unable to achieve desired effects. To address this problem, an improved VSM-based technique is proposed to fuse the base layers. Lastly, a novel WLS optimization scheme is proposed to fuse the detail layers. This optimization aims to transfer more visual details and less irrelevant IR details or noise into the fused image. As a result, the fused image details would appear more naturally and be suitable for human visual perception. Experimental results demonstrate that our method can achieve a superior performance compared with other fusion methods in both subjective and objective assessments.  相似文献

采用滚环扩增(RCA)合成得到的DNA长链打开带适配体的分子信标, 由于RCA长链上带有多个与分子信标(MB)互补的重复序列, 其打开分子信标的能力比单一互补短链提高了上百倍. 所形成的聚多价分子信标组装体, 在分子信标浓度相同的情况下, 打开后的荧光强度也大幅上升; 并且由于组装体上多价适配体的存在, 聚分子信标对凝血酶的靶向能力显著增强. 实验结果表明, 聚分子信标结合凝血酶后, 其荧光信号与凝血酶浓度呈线性关系, 检测灵敏度达到0.2 nmol/L, 该体系的构建有利于实现对凝血酶的高灵敏、 特异性检测.  相似文献

The façade of a room is usually composed of different construction elements, one of which is the window. This fulfils both an aesthetic function and closes the wall opening. In order to improve thermal behaviour and control solar radiation, the window is fitted with different protection features, such as the shutter. In climate zones with many hours of sunlight, windows in residential buildings commonly incorporate a rolling shutter. Traffic noise and higher standards of energy saving, comfort, durability and sustainability in buildings means that windows now have to comply with stricter requirements, including their sound insulation from airborne noise. This work contains a summary of studies carried out on the sound insulation from airborne noise in several types of windows (double side-hung casement and double horizontal sliding sash) with built-on shutter and prefabricated box. For each type of window, an analysis was made of the effects of the interior finishings in the shutter box, the shutter position (whether fully retracted or extended) and the weighted sound reduction index of windows for traffic noise in accordance with EN ISO 717-1.  相似文献
