Dynamic fracture behaviour of crack curving in bent beams has been investigated. In order to understand the propagation mechanism
of such cracks under impact, an experimental method is used that combines dynamic photoelasticity with dynamic caustics to
study the interaction of the flexural waves and the crack. From the state change of the transient stresses in polymer specimen,
the curving fracture in the impulsively loaded beams is analyzed. The dynamic responses of crack tips are evaluated by the
stress intensity factors for the cracks running in varying curvature paths under bending stress wave.

In this paper we present the application of a direct demodulation method for the measurement of surface topography by means of Shadow-Moiré. In our set-up, we use three LEDs (with green, red and blue peak wavelengths) to illuminate the grating. Due to the different position of these light sources, a polychromatic Shadow-Moiré fringe pattern is produced, which can be described as the superposition of three monochromatic (red, green and blue) fringe patterns. Taking the image of this polychromatic fringe pattern with a RGB CCD camera, we get a monochromatic fringe pattern stored at each RGB channel of the CCD. The direct demodulation algorithm employed uses these fringe patterns to calculate the wrapped phase map. After unwrapping the phase map using a standard multi-grid technique, we implemented an automatic procedure to detect the area of interest of the phase map by removing low modulation zones and to calculate the absolute value of the phase. In this way it is possible to determine the topography of a surface with a single RGB snapshot maintaining a simple experimental set-up, which is an important feature, especially for the study of dynamic phenomena such as deformations. In this paper, we describe a bipolar molecular design for small molecule solution‐processed organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Combining the rigidity of the conjugated emissive cores and the flexibility of the peripheral alkyl‐linked carbazole groups, two series of highly efficient bipolar RGB (red, green, blue) emitters have been synthesized and characterized. The emissive cores are composed of electron‐withdrawing groups; the carbazole groups endow the materials electron‐donating units. Such bipolar structures are advantageous for the carrier injection and balance. Four peripheral carbazole groups are introduced in T‐series materials (TCDqC, TCSoC, TCBzC, TCNzC), and another four in O‐series materials (OCDqC, OCSoC, OCBzC, OCNzC). With the single‐layer device configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/emitting layer/CsF/Al, two green devices exhibited excellent performance with a maximum luminescence efficiency of over 6.4 cd A?1, and a high maximum luminance of more than 6700 cd m?2. In addition, compared with the T‐series, the luminescence efficiency of blue and red devices based on O‐series materials increased from 1.6 to 2.8 cd A?1 and 0.2 to 1.3 cd A?1, respectively. To our knowledge, the performance of the blue device based on OCSoC is among the best of the blue small‐molecule solution‐processed single‐layer devices reported so far. 相似文献

The use of white light based Three Fringe Photoelasticity (TFP)/RGB Photoelasticity has gained importance in the recent years. With recent advances in TFP, it is possible to resolve fringe orders upto twelve. The main advantage of this technique is that it requires only a single image for isochromatic demodulation, which makes it suitable especially for problems where recording multiple images is difficult. The accuracy of isochromatic data obtained using TFP/RGB Photoelasticity is dependent on the scanning scheme used to refine the data, which is necessary to incorporate fringe order continuity. In this paper, the existing scanning schemes are critically evaluated for their ability to scan the entire model domain, influence of seed point selection and noise propagation. The scanning schemes are assessed using four problems of increasing level of geometric complexity – Circular disc under compression (simply connected), bi-axially loaded cruciform specimen with an inclined crack, a thick ring subjected to internal pressure and a finite plate with a hole (multiply connected). 相似文献
