In this paper, multilayer structures of porous silicon were fabricated by using electrochemical etching and characterized for its optical properties and surface morphology. Samples of monolayer of porous silicon were grown to study the characteristics of porous layer formation with respect to applied current density, etching time and hydrofluoric acid concentrations. Photoluminescence peaks of red emission at wavelength 695 and 650 nm were observed from multilayer porous silicon structures. By atomic force microscopy measurement, hillocks like surface were clearly observed within the host material, which confirmed the formation of pores. 相似文献

A device of multiple nano-TiO2 layers was proposed and fabricated to prevent a dye/nano-TiO2 region from serious photo-degradation. In this device, the top of the dye/TiO2 region was designed to be coated using sol-gel nano-TiO2 thin films to shield UV irradiation from the photo-degradation effect. The sol-gel TiO2 was prepared in a low temperature (75 °C) and verified as nano-sized particles and an anatase crystalline structure. Different devices of the multi-layer samples fabricated using different compositions of nano-TiO2 were produced and exposed for UV irradiation tests. Results show that the presence of the sol-gel TiO2 films coated on top of the dye/TiO2 region can significantly alleviate the dye photo-degradation under UV irradiation. This multi-layer device can effectively improve the photo-stability of the dye/TiO2 region in a UV-exposure environment. 相似文献

We previously developed a renovated Maxwell model for the effective thermal conductivity of nanofluids and determined that the solid/liquid interfacial layers play an important role in the enhanced thermal conductivity of nanofluids. However, this renovated Maxwell model is limited to suspensions with spherical particles. Here, we extend the Hamilton--Crosser model for suspensions of nonspherical particles to include the effect of a solid/liquid interface. The solid/liquid interface is described as a confocal ellipsoid with a solid particle. The new model for the three-phase suspensions is mathematically expressed in terms of the equivalent thermal conductivity and equivalent volume fraction of anisotropic complex ellipsoids, as well as an empirical shape factor. With a generalized empirical shape factor, the renovated Hamilton--Crosser model correctly predicts the magnitude of the thermal conductivity of nanotube-in-oil nanofluids. At present, this new model is not able to predict the nonlinear behavior of the nanofluid thermal conductivity. 相似文献

Two types of absorption centers, one being related to monomers and the other to dimers, have been revealed by the method of statistical analysis of the normalized absorption spectra of a superthin interlayer of nitrobenzene of variable thickness formed on activated surfaces of quartz and barium fluoride and measured for different thicknesses of the interlayer. 采用液相外延工艺成功制备了Tb3 + ∶YAGG单晶荧光层 ,研究了Tb3 + 激活YAG主晶格外延层中Ga3 + 掺杂的荧光敏化效应 ,可以看到在Tb3 + 荧光得到显著增强的同时 ,外延荧光层发光的饱和特性也有所改善。实验中观察到了Ga3 + 掺杂后基质晶体吸收边缘向长波方向展宽 ,并与Tb3 + 的7F6 9E、7E典型吸收峰发生交叠的现象 ,用基质与Tb3 + 之间的声子耦合解释了上述Tb3 + ∶YAGG外延层中所存在的能量传递、荧光敏化现象。基质与掺杂激活中心间能量传递机制的建立将会为基于YAG主晶格的高效荧光材料研究提供一个新的思路。 相似文献

本文采用直流磁控溅射方法在(100)取向的LaAlO3基片上制备了系列多层膜: La0.67Ca0.33MnO3-δ/La0.67Sr0.33MnO3-δ/La0.67Ca0.33MnO3-δ (LC/LS/LC).并采用标准四探针方法对所制备样品的阻温关系进行了测量. 结果表明:在零场下,当上下两层厚度一定时,随着中间层(LS)厚度增加,多层膜的电阻率减小,金属-绝缘体转变温度(TM-I)向高温方向移动.在中间层(LS)厚度保持一定时,随着上下两层(LC)厚度增加,其电阻率和金属-绝缘体转变温度(TM-I)出现同样的变化规律.基于双交换理论,我们对以上结果给出了尝试性解释. 相似文献

In this study the performance of organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) are enhanced significantly,which is based on dual electron transporting layers(Bphen/CuPc).By adjusting the thicknesses of Bphen and CuPc,the maximal luminescence,the maximal current efficiency,and the maximal power efficiency of the device reach 17570 cd/m2 at 11 V,and 5.39 cd/A and 3.39 lm/W at 3.37 mA/cm2 respectively,which are enhanced approximately by 33.4%,39.3%,and 68.9%,respectively,compared with those of the device using Bphen only for an electron transporting layer.These results may provide some valuable references for improving the electron injection and the transportation of OLED. 相似文献

Dimensional analysis is presented as a powerful tool in the study of the paste boriding process. In particular, a dimensional method is used to study the growth kinetics of the boride layers FeB and Fe2B. Experiments were performed in AISI 1045 steel and AISI M2 steel, to test the suggested model. Samples of 1045 steel were prepared and treated using boron paste thickness of 3-5 mm, at temperatures of 1193, 1223 and 1273 K, with 2, 4 and 6 h of treatment time. The M2 specimens had boron paste thickness of 3 and 4 mm and temperatures of 1223, 1253 and 1273 K for 2 and 6 h. Results indicate that the growth of boron layers obeys power laws of the form y = αxβ, where α and β constants are a function of the material and the interface of interest. Validation of the model was carried out using experimental data with an average error percentage of 7.6% for Fe2B in 1045 steel, 15.8% for FeB and 3.4% for Fe2B in M2 steel. 相似文献
