本文研究一类广泛的高阶非线性波动方程组初边值问题的有限差分格式，用离散泛函分析方法和先验估计的技巧得到了有限差分格式的收敛性。     

Image Displaying Method of Ground-Based Millimeter Wave Radiometric Imaging System

The image displaying methods used in a millimeter wave radiometric imaging system have great influence on its imaging quality. In order to obtain high quality millimeter wave radiometric images, intensive studies on the image displaying methods are needed. This paper describes the image displaying method of Ground-based 8mm Millimeter Wave Radiometric Imaging (GMWRI) system and compares two different image displaying methods. The experimental results prove the unequal size element arc displaying method fits GMWRI system better.     

H m -modified wave operator for nonlinear Hartree equation in space of dimensionn≥2

We consider the scattering problem for the Hartree equation with potential |x|⁻¹ in a space of dimensionn≥2. We prove the existence ofH ^m -modified wave operator for Hartree equation on a dense set of a neighborhood of zero inH ^m (ℝ ⁿ ), meanwhile, we obtain also the global existence for the Cauchy problem of Hartree equation in a space of dimensionn≥2. In Search of Alternatives to Higgs Fields

Field equations of the S² sigma model (“the A3 model”) with spontaneously broken Z(2) symmetry are presented for (D+1)-dimensional space–time. The A3 model is an extension of the sine-Gordon equation (SGE) and supports kink-like U(1) charged solitons which are a generalization of neutral solitons of the SGE. The natural question arises — is the A3 model completely integrable in (1+1)-dimensional space–time? The Lorentz-invariant scalar A3 field can be viewed as a promising alternative to the Higgs field.     

求解准确的表面张力—重力波方程的新方法

本文提供一个求解重力和表面张力同时作用的周期前进二维非线性波的新方法.自由表面在计算域转入单位圆后用有限项Fourier级数表示.动力学边界条件用的是完整的非线性形式.Fourier级数的系数用Newton-Raphson方法迭代求解.这是一个精巧的方法.所用计算工作量小而结果精度高.     

Decomposition of organic salts of some d and f metals

The thermal decomposition in non-isothermal conditions of formates, acetates, propionates and butyrates of Mn, Co, Zn, Cd, Eu, Sm and Ni was studied. The observed compensation effect allows us to calculate the isokinetic temperature. A selective activation mechanism was suggested. This leads to a good agreement between kinetic and spectroscopic data. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

Depth profiling of latex blends of fluorinated and fluorine‐free acrylates with laser‐induced secondary mass spectrometry

We explored phase separation and self‐assembly of perfluoroalkyl segments at the surface of polymer films obtained from latices of semifluorinated acrylate copolymers and the corresponding latex blends of nonfluorinated and semifluorinated polyacrylates. With laser‐induced secondary mass spectrometry the fluorine distribution was measured after annealing above the minimum film‐forming temperature of the polymers up to a depth of several micrometers. Depth profiles of a semifluorinated acrylate homopolymer and latex blends thereof with fluorine‐free alkylacrylates with 25, 50, and 75 mol % semifluorinated acrylate as well as a copolymer comprised of alkyl acrylate and semifluorinated acrylate (50/50 mol %) were investigated. In the case of latex blends containing both semifluorinated polyacrylates and fluorine‐free or low‐fluorine polymers, self‐assembly accounted for enrichment of the perfluoroalkyl segments at the surface. 表面垂直裂痕诱发瑞利波散射的数值分析

激光激发的声表面波为材料表面缺陷的检测提供了有力的工具.针对含缺陷材料在模型边界上的复杂性,建立了基于平面应变的有限元模型并选取了相同厚度但含有不同深度的表面裂痕的单层铝板进行了对比计算,得到了声表面波经过不同深度的表面裂痕时产生的反射及透射信号波形的时域特征.进而引入了基于Wigner-Ville分布理论的时-频分析方法计算裂痕前、后散射的瞬态表面波的能量在时间-频率平面内分布的情形.结果显示：声表面波接近中心频率的某一频率成分在经过深度小于其中心波长的表面缺陷时,随着裂痕深度的增加,对应于该频率的反射系数呈现单调递增的趋势;而透射系数呈现递减的特征,这一结果可以为激光超声检测表面缺陷提供一种定量的表征手段.     

40 GHz Mode-Locked Semiconductor Lasers: Theory, Simulations and Experiment

We study both theoretically and experimentally typical operation regimes of 40 GHz monolithic mode-locked lasers. The underlying Traveling Wave Equation model reveals quantitative agreement for characteristics of the fundamental mode-locking as pulse width and repetition frequency tuning, as well as qualitative agreement with the experiments for other dynamic regimes. Especially the appearance of stable harmonic mode-locking at 80 GHz has been predicted theoretically and confirmed by measurements. Furthermore, we derive and apply a simplified Delay-Differential-Equation model which guides us to a qualitative analysis of bifurcations responsible for the appearance and the breakup of different mode-locking regimes. Higher harmonics of mode-locking are predicted by this model as well.
