We use an electrostatic model to study the average kinetic energy of ions ejected from the pure Coulomb explosions of methane clusters (CA4)n (light atom A=H and D). It is found that the ratio of the average kinetic energy of the ions to their initial average electrostatic potential energy is irrelevant to the cluster size. This finding implies that as long as the ratio is given, the average kinetic energies of the ions can be simply estimated from their initial average electrostatic potential energies, rather than from the time- consuming simulations. Based on the reported physical parameters for hexagonal system solids,we have calculated the effects of anisotropy on polarization of plane P-wave propagation.Herein we report the results of calculations and the newly observed physical phenomena.It is found that,for a given propagation,if the polarization is parallel to the wave vector,so also to the Poynting vector.In such a case,the phase velocity is identical to the energy velocity;the quasi P-wave degenerates to a pure P-wave along the propagation.It is also noted that if the polarization is parallel to the Poynting vector but not to the wave vector,the propagating wave cannot be a pure P-wave.Furthermore,the polarization in a quasi P-wave may deviate from the wave vector for more than 45°,but the deviation from the Poynting vector is always less than 45°.The energy velocity of a quasi SV-wave can be larger than that of the quasi P-wave in some propagation directions,even though the phase velocity of a quasi SV-wave may never be larger than either the phase velocity or energy velocity of the quasi P-wave.Finally,in case of parameters ε=0 and δ*≠0,the polarization of a quasi P-wave has an observed symmetry at a 45°phase angle.The anisotropy of a hexagonal system solid determines if a pure P-wave can be created and what the propagation direction is for a plane wave propagating inside such a hexagonal system solid. 相似文献
This paper is concerned with tight closure in a commutative Noetherian ring of prime characteristic , and is motivated by an argument of K. E. Smith and I. Swanson that shows that, if the sequence of Frobenius powers of a proper ideal of has linear growth of primary decompositions, then tight closure (of ) `commutes with localization at the powers of a single element'. It is shown in this paper that, provided has a weak test element, linear growth of primary decompositions for other sequences of ideals of that approximate, in a certain sense, the sequence of Frobenius powers of would not only be just as good in this context, but, in the presence of a certain additional finiteness property, would actually imply that tight closure (of ) commutes with localization at an arbitrary multiplicatively closed subset of .
Work of M. Katzman on the localization problem for tight closure raised the question as to whether the union of the associated primes of the tight closures of the Frobenius powers of has only finitely many maximal members. This paper develops, through a careful analysis of the ideal theory of the perfect closure of , strategies for showing that tight closure (of a specified ideal of ) commutes with localization at an arbitrary multiplicatively closed subset of and for showing that the union of the associated primes of the tight closures of the Frobenius powers of is actually a finite set. Several applications of the strategies are presented; in most of them it was already known that tight closure commutes with localization, but the resulting affirmative answers to Katzman's question in the various situations considered are believed to be new.
The difference absorption spectra of different grades of gasoline (A-76, AI-92, and AI-95) with octane numbers lying within 76–85 have been investigated experimentally in comparison with hydrocarbons: isooctane, benzene, and n-heptane. The spectra obtained contain absorption bands of the CH3, CH2, and CH groups and supposedly of the olefin double bond. The possibility of determining the octane number of an unknown grade of gasoline by using the absorption of a measured difference spectrum at one selected wavelength is shown. 相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the exitence result for pure strategy Nash equilibria in anonymous nonatomic games. By working directly on integrals of pure strategies, we also generalize, for the same class of games, the existence result for undominated pure strategy Nash equilibria even though, in general, the set of pure strategy Nash equilibria may fail to be weakly compact.
