A group selective molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction (MISPE) for malachite green (MG) from fish water and fish feed samples was developed. Using MG as template molecule, methacrylic acid as functional monomer, ethylene glycoldimethacrylate as linking agent and bulk polymerization as synthetic method, the molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were synthesized and characterized with rebinding experiment. The Scatchard polt's analysis revealed that the template-polymer system showed the two-site binding behavior with dissociation constants of 0.3194 μmol L−1 and 15.70 μmol L−1, respectively. MG and two structurally related compounds, leucomalachite green (LMG) and crystal violet (CV) were employed for selectivity test. The MIPs exhibited the highest selective rebinding to MG, but also displayed 83.0% and 87.5% of cross-reactivity with LMG and CV, demonstrating that MIPs could be used as group recognition sorbents in solid phase extraction. The extraction conditions of MISPE column for MG were optimized. Tap water samples spiked with MG at concentration of 0.5-10 ng mL−1 were extracted by MISPE column and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The recoveries of MISPE column for MG extraction were found to be 76.8-93.7% with the relative standard deviations of 2.12-10.09%, indicating the feasibility of the prepared MIPs for MG extraction. No detectable MG was observed in one fish farming water sample and two fish feed samples; while the MG concentrations in two pet fishpond water samples were found at 1.50 ng mL−1 and 0.67 ng mL−1, respectively.  相似文献

Clear definitions of basic terms, used to describe the quality of measurements, is essential for communication among scientists as well as when reporting measurement results to clients. Even if appropriate definitions are given in international standards and guidelines, the understanding of some basic terms sometimes proves difficult. The reasons for this are various, e.g., the same words being defined rather differently in encyclopaedias and in international standards as well as concepts, well established in some languages, that may be relatively new in other national communities and at large in the international one. Here we present a matrix intended to clarify the relationships between the type of error affecting an analytical measurement, the respective qualitative concepts (performance characteristics) and their quantitative expression.

The mass fraction of potassium hydrogen phthalate (KHP) from a specific batch was certified as an acidimetric standard. Two different analytical methods on a metrological level were used to carry out certification analysis: precision constant current coulometric and volumetric titration with NaOH. It could be shown that with a commercial automatic titration system in combination with a reliable software for the end-point detection it is possible to produce equivalent results with the same accuracy in comparison to a definite method handled by a fundamental apparatus for traceable precision coulometry. Prerequisite for titrations are that a high number of single measurement are applied which are calibrated with a high precision certified reference material.  相似文献

We numerically study two conservative two-dimensional maps, namely the baker map (whose Lyapunov exponent is known to be positive), and a typical one (exhibiting a vanishing Lyapunov exponent) chosen from the generalized shift family of maps introduced by C. Moore [Phys. Rev. Lett. 64 (1990) 2354] in the context of undecidability. We calculate the time evolution of the entropy (). We exhibit the dramatic effect introduced by numerical precision. Indeed, in spite of being area-preserving maps, they present, well after the initially concentrated ensemble has spread virtually all over the phase space, unexpected pseudo-attractors (fixed-point like for the baker map, and more complex structures for the Moore map). These pseudo-attractors, and the apparent time (partial) reversibility they provoke, gradually disappear for increasingly large precision. In the case of the Moore map, they are related to zero Lebesgue-measure effects associated with the frontiers existing in the definition of the map. In addition to the above, and consistent with the results by V. Latora and M. Baranger [Phys. Rev. Lett. 82 (1999) 520], we find that the rate of the far-from-equilibrium entropy production of baker map numerically coincides with the standard Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy of this strongly chaotic system.  相似文献

In the present paper, the capabilities of differential field-flow fractionation, i. e., the determination of an incremental quantity of a colloidal species, e. g., an uptake adsorbed mass, determined by the joint use of two independent FFF measurements, over a species and the same modified species respectively, are considered. The different error types, those related to the retention time determinations and those coming from the operating parameter fluctuations were considered. The different components were computed with reference to SdFFF determinations of bare polystyrene (PS) submicronic particles and the same PS particles covered by IgG. Comparison was made between theoretically computed precision and experiments. The error coming from the experimental measurement of retention times was identified to be the main source of errors. Accordingly, it was possible to make explicit the detection limits and the confidence intervals of the adsorbed mass uptake, as a function of experimental quantities such as the retention ratio, the detector calibration ratio, the injected quantity, the baseline noise, and the void time relative error. An experimentally determined and theoretically foreseen dependence of both the experimental detection and confidence limits (approximately +/- 10(-17) g) on the square root of the injected concentration, for constant injected volume, was found.  相似文献

Single proteins separated by 2-DE often show multiple spots spreading along the first dimension. In many cases, such charge trains are explained by isoform differences or by putative post-translational modifications including phosphorylation, glycosylation and others. We now report that individual spots of such charge trains on 2-D gels in fact often represent the same protein, but, apparently due to conformational changes, segregate to different isoelectric points. If MS analysis reveals protein identity, we therefore suggest integrating all individual spots within a charge train for quantification. Especially in quality control of pharmaceutical proteins, the integration of the spot groups of all active contents is preferable in order to obtain reproducible and reasonable quantitative results. However, most commercial software packages for gel analysis integrate the signals spot-wise. We provide an improved quantification tool for proteins with charge train groups. This calculation can be implemented using the MATLAB software and the self-developed "Correct Integration Software System" or the commercial software package Delta2D.  相似文献

We review experimental progress on atom lasers out-coupled from Bose–Einstein condensates, and consider the properties of such beams in the context of precision inertial sensing. The atom laser is the matter-wave analogue of the optical laser. Both devices rely on Bose-enhanced scattering to produce a macroscopically populated trapped mode that is output-coupled to produce an intense beam. In both cases, the beams often display highly desirable properties such as low divergence, high spectral flux and a simple spatial mode that make them useful in practical applications, as well as the potential to perform measurements at or below the quantum projection noise limit. Both devices display similar second-order correlations that differ from thermal sources. Because of these properties, atom lasers are a promising source for application to precision inertial measurements.  相似文献

This paper starts with a brief review of the topic of strong and weak pre- and post-selected (PPS) quantum measurements, as well as weak values, and afterwards presents original work. In particular, we develop a nonperturbative theory of weak PPS measurements of an arbitrary system with an arbitrary meter, for arbitrary initial states of the system and the meter. New and simple analytical formulas are obtained for the average and the distribution of the meter pointer variable. These formulas hold to all orders in the weak value. In the case of a mixed preselected state, in addition to the standard weak value, an associated weak value is required to describe weak PPS measurements. In the linear regime, the theory provides the generalized Aharonov–Albert–Vaidman formula. Moreover, we reveal two new regimes of weak PPS measurements: the strongly-nonlinear regime and the inverted region (the regime with a very large weak value), where the system-dependent contribution to the pointer deflection decreases with increasing the measurement strength. The optimal conditions for weak PPS measurements are obtained in the strongly-nonlinear regime, where the magnitude of the average pointer deflection is equal or close to the maximum. This maximum is independent of the measurement strength, being typically of the order of the pointer uncertainty. In the optimal regime, the small parameter of the theory is comparable to the overlap of the pre- and post-selected states. We show that the amplification coefficient in the weak PPS measurements is generally a product of two qualitatively different factors. The effects of the free system and meter Hamiltonians are discussed. We also estimate the size of the ensemble required for a measurement and identify optimal and efficient meters for weak measurements. Exact solutions are obtained for a certain class of the measured observables. These solutions are used for numerical calculations, the results of which agree with the theory. Moreover, the theory is extended to allow for a completely general post-selection measurement. We also discuss time-symmetry properties of PPS measurements of any strength and the relation between PPS and standard (not post-selected) measurements.  相似文献

Saturation spectroscopy is frequently used to obtain sub-Doppler measurement of atomic and molecular transitions. Optical resonant cavities can be used to enhance the effective absorption path length, and the laser power inside the cavity as well to saturate very weak ro-vibrational transitions of molecules. Three different cavity-enhanced methods, cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy, cavity ring-down spectroscopy, and noise-immune cavity enhanced optical heterodyne molecular spectroscopy (NICE-OHMS), were compared by measuring the Lamb dip of a C2H2 line at 1.4 μm using a cavity with a finesse of 120000. The center of the line was determined by different cavity-enhanced methods, each giving a sub-kHz (δv/v≈10-12) statistical uncertainty. The sensitivity and precision of different methods were analyzed and compared. As demonstrated in this study, the NICE-OHMS method is the most sensitive one, but more investigation on the systematic uncertainty is necessary before its application in metrology studies toward a sub-kHz accuracy.  相似文献
