Millimeter wave beams diffracted from reflecting gratings

According to the angular-spectrum method, a radiation beam of an antenna horn in the Fresnal region is decomposed into the plane waves with the fast Fourier transform algorithm and the waves diffracted from a reflection grating are superposed as a diffracted beam. Compared with the reflected beam from the same size mirror, the radiation half width of the diffracted beam from a grating is narrower and its lateral shape is shift. These performances have been experimentally verified at Ka-band by: (1). The relative diffraction efficiencies in the first order with two triangular gratings which is put along propagating direction of a beam produced by a conical lens-horn. (2). H-plane lateral width with power—3dB lapsed of the focus beam from a grating and a mirror in a grating spectrometer for millimeter waves (25–100 GHz).     

Generalization of a sharp Hölder's inequality and its application

In this paper, we generalize Hu Ke's sharpness of Hölder's inequality. As application, the obtained result is used to improve the well-known Opial-Olech inequality.     

Low sintering temperature MnZn-ferrites for power applications in the frequency region of 400 kHz

In this paper, the effect of cubic zinc metaborate Zn₄O(BO₂)₆ on the sintering of MnZn-ferrites for medium frequency power applications is investigated. Zinc metaborate is synthesized in the laboratory using zinc oxide and boric acid as metal precursors. As observed, when zinc metaborate is added to the MnZn-ferrites at an optimum amount of 0.02 wt%, it significantly enhances densification and therefore allows, for a given density, reduction of the firing temperature by almost 200 °C. MnZn-ferrites exhibiting power losses of 70 mW/cm³ (measured at a frequency of 400 kHz, magnetic field 50 mT and temperature of 90 °C) are synthesized from conventionally milled powders with average particle diameter 0.6 μm, compacted and fired at 1100 °C. Identical experiments conducted under the same conditions on specimens without zinc metaborate additions revealed power losses greater than 300 mW/cm³, because of insufficient densification.     

HL-2Aƫ�����ṹ���켰�ȸ��ɷ���

根据HL-2A装置改造的初步方案,选择优化的偏滤器位形所决定的参数,设计出可采取的偏滤器结构及水冷方式。外靶板和拱顶板上采用双剪切连接件和环向水路具有极向水流的冷却方式。通过ANSYS编码对靶板的热负荷进行分析,结果表明这样的冷却方式在降低流速要求的条件下可以提高靶板表面承载能力。     

分析布拉格光栅破坏的两纤芯不同的光纤耦合器

进一步推广了描述纤芯不同光纤耦合器的耦合模理论，用于解释被布拉格光栅破坏的两纤芯不同光纤耦合器的耦合现象，理论分析的结果与已报道的实验结果相符，与单独的布拉格光栅所起的反射作用不同,这里布拉格光栅所起的作用主要是引入了强烈的色散，在光栅的频谱范围内使耦合器不再同步，在被布拉格光栅破坏的光纤耦合器的选择性频谱中，其边缘部分出现非常弱的波动，而在其阻带内出现非常强的凹陷。     

时分复用倍乘光脉冲重复率的新型光纤耦合器环状连接法分析

提出并详细分析了一种基于时分复用技术倍乘光脉冲重复率的方法：在２×２光纤耦合器的一个输入口与一个输出口间，接入时延为脉冲列半周期奇数倍的一段光纤使之形成环状连接循环耦合，而在另一输出口获得光脉冲。详细分析了该系统中光纤耦合器耦合比、插入损耗、时延光纤长度的要求，偏差的影响及其调节法，给出了理论公式、结果的计算机模拟与实验介绍；与经典的马赫陈德尔干涉仪接法及近年提出的Ｓａｇｎａｃ环接法进行了比较。该方法特别适用于对窄脉冲列进行串接复用实现重复率的多次倍乘，从而得到数千兆赫至上百千兆赫的高重复率光脉冲     

Circuit analysis of the compound quasi-optical power combiner

In 1991, we developed a new type of quasi-optical power combiner, called a compound quasi-optical power combiner, at Ka-band. In this paper, the circuit of such a compound quasi-optical power combiner is analysed. Its equivalent circuit model is proposed. The circuit equations, the balance condition, the injection locking and the stabilized condition of the compound quasi-optical power combiner are studed by the equivalent circuit model. As an example, a compound quasi-optical power combiner which consists of two single—cavity, two—device power combiners is analysed     

Power scaling of printed-circuit-board preionized TEA CO2 laser up to 3.6 kW

A high average power, high-repetition-rate TEA CO₂ laser employing printed-circuit-board preionizer is described. The power scaling of this preionization configuration has been demonstrated. The average output power reaches 3.6 kW at pulse repetition rate of 180 pps. Furthermore, the scaling-up ability of the rotating spark gap as high-voltage switch for high-average-power gas laser has been validated.
