The glasses of the composition 10ZnO-30ZnF2-60B2O3 doped with different concentrations of CoO were prepared. Differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) studies, optical absorption, photoluminescence and infrared spectra of these glasses have been carried out. DSC studies have indicated that the resistance of the glass against devitrification increases with the increase in the concentration of CoO. Optical absorption spectra have exhibited one octahedral band due to 4T1g(F)→2T1g(H) and two tetrahedral bands due to 4A2(4F)→4T1(4P) 4A2(4F)→4T1(4F) transitions of Co2+ ions at about 525, 570 and 1400 nm, respectively. As the concentration of CoO is increased the tetrahedral bands are observed to grow at the expense of octahedral band. The luminescence spectra have exhibited two emission bands in the spectral regions of 600-700 nm and 800-900 nm due to 4T1(4P)→4A2(4F) and 4T1(4P)→4T2(4F) tetrahedral transitions of Co2+ ions, respectively. With the increasing content of cobalt ions in the glass matrix, the half width and intensity of these bands are observed to increase. The analysis of the results of these two spectra coupled with IR spectra has indicated that as the concentration of CoO is increased in the glass matrix, the tetrahedral occupancy of cobalt ions dominates over the octahedral occupancy and increase the rigidity of the glass network. 相似文献

The structural, electrical and optical characteristics of porous silicon (PS) due to the impregnation of LaF3 into PS by a novel chemical-bath deposition (CBD) technique have been investigated in this article. Without removing the PS from the anodization chamber the impregnation with LaF3 has been done by reacting LaCl3 with HF in the same chamber at room temperature. The impregnation of LaF3 was confirmed by the SEM on the cross-section of the LaF3/PS/Si system and EDX. The modification of PS surface by LaF3 had direct influence on the electrical and optical properties of PS. Electrical properties of Ag/LaF3/PS/p-Si/Ag structures were studied through the current-voltage (I-V) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics. Formation of metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) diode was evident whose forward current increased with annealing. A diode factor of about 2.4 has been obtained for the annealed heterostructure indicating a high density of trap states. The C−2-V curves of all samples showed negative flat band voltage of around −2 V confirming a large number of fixed positive charges in the LaF3. The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of the LaF3-impregnated PS showed aging for the as-deposited samples, but when annealed PS structure recovered the PL intensity. Experimental results show that the optimized chemical bath passivation process for the LaF3 on porous silicon could enable the porous silicon to be an important material for photonic application. 相似文献

采用高温熔融法分别制备了Yb3+/Ho3+,Yb3+/Tm3+和Yb3+/Ho3+/Tm3+共掺的碲酸盐玻璃。在980nm红外激光激发下,Yb3+/Ho3+/Tm3+共掺的玻璃样品显示了强的蓝光、绿光和红光发射,分别对应于Tm3+的1 G4→3 H6跃迁、Ho3+的5 F4(5 S2)→5I 8跃迁以及Ho3+的5 F5→5I 8和Tm3+的1 G4→3 F4跃迁。通过对比发现,Yb3+/Ho3+/Tm3+共掺样品中的红、绿光积分发射强度比值(3.95)明显大于Yb3+/Ho3+共掺样品(1.69),这是由于Ho3+和Tm3+间存在交叉弛豫过程3 H4(Tm3+)+5I 6(Ho3+)→3 F4(Tm3+)+5 F5(Ho3+)和3 F4(Tm3+)+5I 8(Ho3+)→3 H6(Tm3+)+5I 7(Ho3+)所致。在激发功率密度为8.2 W.cm-2时,Yb3+/Ho3+/Tm3+共掺样品的上转换发光色坐标值为x=0.345,y=0.338,非常接近于等能白光(x=0.333,y=0.333)。 相似文献

The upconversion properties of Er^3+-doped heavy metal oxyfluoride germanate glasses under 975 nm excitation have been investigated. The intense green (551 and 529 nm) and relatively weak red (657 nm) emissions corresponding to the transitions ^4S3/2→^4I15/2, ^2H11/2→^4 I15/2 and ^4F9/2 →^4I15/2, respectively, were simultaneously observed at room temperature. The content of PbF2 has an important influence on the upconversion luminescence emission. With increasing content of PbF2, the intensities of green (529 nm) and red (657 nm) emissions increase slightly, while the green emission (551 nm) increases markedly. These results suggest that PbF2 has an influence on the green (551 nm) emission more than on the green (529 nm) and red (657 nm) emissions. 相似文献

A facile method was developed to fabricate a high sensitive, reproducible and recyclable surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) active glass capillary. The Au nanoparticles were synthesized through a seed‐mediated growth approach and then self‐assembled onto the inner wall of glass capillaries. The attached Au nanoparticles were homogeneously coated with thin silica shell by using the silane coupling agent to functionalize the Au surface. By using thiophenol (TP) as SERS probe molecules, the substrate exhibited robust SERS effects. The adsorbed SERS probe molecules could be rapidly and completely removed away by flowing sodium borohydride solution and thus to obtain a refresh Au@SiO2 film‐coated substrate for the cyclic detection on different species. The on‐line detection of TP and malachite green (MG) with different concentrations was performed in the flowing system. The intensities of SERS signals were dependent on concentrations of the detected molecules. The results indicated that the SERS‐active substrate has potential applications on the on‐line qualitative and quasi‐quantitative analysis. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

We discuss replica symmetry breaking (RSB) in spin glasses. We update work in this area, from both the analytical and numerical points of view. We give particular attention to the difficulties stressed by Newman and Stein concerning the problem of constructing pure states in spin glass systems. We mainly discuss what happens in finite-dimensional, realistic spin glasses. Together with a detailed review of some of the most important features, facts, data, and phenomena, we present some new theoretical ideas and numerical results. We discuss among others the basic idea of the RSB theory, correlation functions, interfaces, overlaps, pure states, random field, and the dynamical approach. We present new numerical results for the behaviors of coupled replicas and about the numerical verification of sum rules, and we review some of the available numerical results that we consider of larger importance (for example, the determination of the phase transition point, the correlation functions, the window overlaps, and the dynamical behavior of the system). 相似文献
