飞秒激光聚焦到LiF晶体内部, 晶体的加工形貌随偏振改变. 实验表明, 偏振方向平行于<110> 晶向时, 加工起点到表面的距离是<100>偏振下的1.08 倍; 而<110>偏振下加工终点到表面的距离是<100> 偏振下的1.01 倍. 为了解释加工形貌的偏振依赖, 建立了逆韧致辐射、雪崩电离和无辐射跃迁的模型, 首先, 价带电子通过强场电离和雪崩电离, 从激光中吸收能量跃迁到导带, 该过程用电子密度演化方程和傍轴非线性薛定谔方程描述, 求解方程得到导带电子密度; 其次, 导带电子通过无辐射跃迁过程释放能量给晶格, 由能量守恒计算出晶格温度沿激光传播方向的分布; 最后, 晶格温度超过熔点以上的区域被加工. 模拟结果显示, <110>偏振下加工起点到表面的距离是<100> 偏振下的1.03倍, 而<110>偏振下加工终点到表面的距离是<100>偏振下的0.981 倍, 与实验结果基本一致. 虽然Z扫描技术测量的非线性折射率随偏振方向变化, 但是非线性折射率的变化趋势与实验结果相反. 模拟和实验证明逆韧致辐射导致加工形貌随偏振变化. 相似文献

The corrosion inhibition of mild steel in H3PO4 solution by garlic powder was investigated using weight loss and polarization techniques. The adsorption of garlic powder was found to obey Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Maximum inhibition efficiency was 75% at 50 °C and 250 ppm inhibitor concentration. The values of heat of adsorption were negative indicating the spontaneous adsorption process. Quantum chemical calculations were used successfully to evaluate the theoretical inhibitor efficiency. Mathematical and statistical analyses were also used to represent the corrosion rate data with high correlation coefficients. Solid particles in Earth’s atmosphere, such as polystyrene beads, are an important factor affecting the processes of absorption and scattering of light in the atmosphere. These processes affect on the solar energy transfer in the Earth’s atmosphere, consequently they have influence on the regional and global climate changes and atmospheric visibility. In particular, great interest to study the scattering properties of small particles compared with wavelength, because of such particles experience low gravitational settlement and may have long time of life in the atmosphere. When scattering particle is much smaller than the wavelength of the scattered or absorbed light, this is the case of Rayleigh scattering. Scattering properties of these particles (such as intensity and the degree of linear polarization) at the Rayleigh scattering are simply derived from electromagnetic Maxwell’s equations. But when the particles are large enough to be comparable with the wavelength, the deviations from Rayleigh scattering law are observed. One of the clear manifestations of such deviations is the recently discovered quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap of monodisperse spherical particles. This quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap allows remote sensing of the sizes of distant particles, based on the spectral position of quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap at different phase angles of observation. In this paper, we studied the effect of the non-sphericity of a scattering polystyrene particle on the magnitude and position of the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap. It is established that the non-sphericity shifts the position of the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap shorter wavelengths. It is shown that for non-sphericity of particles makes the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap becomes less pronounced. Moreover, it was found, that increasing of the phase angle and degree of non-sphericity shift the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap position to shorter wavelength. However, in the case of not very elongated particles, the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap is quite well manifested. Therefore, this method is suitable for remote sensing not only the size, but also the degree of non-sphericity of the scattering particles. A simple formula has been obtained for polystyrene beads that relates the degree of non-sphericity of a particle with the wavelength and phase angles at which the quasi-Rayleigh polarization leap is observed. 相似文献

We present a simple method to obtain the optical and dielectric properties of samples without reference measurement in the reflection-type terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. The dielectric properties of the samples of silicon and gallium arsenide were examined. The optical and dielectric properties of the samples were measured through only simple configuration, without the misplacement error. The obtained dielectric functions of the samples in reflection geometry are in good agreement with that predicated by the theory. The main advantage of this method over other methods is its simplicity and accuracy and ease for application of the reflection systems with different incident angle. 相似文献

White light interferometer can be used to measure the amplitude extinction ratio (ER) of polarizer and coupling distribution in fiber. A LiNbO3 polarizer coupled with a polarization maintaining fiber and a silica planar waveguide at the two ends was measured using white light interferometer. According to the principles of optical coherence domain polarimeter (OCDP) technique, the test scheme is analyzed and presented to measure the ER of LiNbO3 polarizer with its apparatus proposed correspondingly. By analyzing the interference intensity, both the ER of LiNbO3 polarizer and its coupling crosstalk with optical fiber and waveguide are obtained. The results illustrate that the ER of a 5 mm-long LiNbO3 polarizer is 71 dB and the crosstalk of the coupling points are around 40 dB. The results have good agreement with analysis. 相似文献
