A Fe(III) complex with Cl counter ion based on a branched Schiff base has been synthesized and studied. The compound was produced by the reaction of the Schiff base with FeCl3 at room temperature in benzene–ethanol. The complex is symmetric, i.e., bis-chelate, with an octahedral coordination of Fe. The compound revealed phase transitions of the “solid–solid” type. The complex displayed a temperature-induced spin transition (S?=?1/2???5/2) which was detected by EPR.  相似文献

Two octacyanometallate-based NiII–MIV [M?=?Mo(1), W(2)] bimetallic assemblies chelated with tetradentate macrocyclic ligands have been synthesized by slow diffusion and characterized structurally. In both complexes, M and Ni centers acting as linker and connector, respectively, are connected by M–CN–Ni–NC–M linkages to form a 3-D diamond-type topological network. Magnetic behaviors of both complexes show a very weak antiferromagnetic interaction between NiII ions mediated by the diamagnetic [M(CN)8]4? bridges.  相似文献

A new coordination complex, aqua bis(o-phenanthroline) cadmium(II) sulfate cyanoguanidine pentahydrate, [Cd(o-phen)2(SO4)(H2O)](cnge)?·?5H2O, was synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure was solved by X-ray diffraction methods. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a?=?13.7650(2) Å, b?=?10.2796(2) Å, c?=?21.4418(3) Å, β?=?90.106(2)°, and Z?=?4 molecules per cell unit. The cadmium(II) is in a distorted octahedral environment coordinated to two nearly planar and mutually perpendicular o-phenanthrolines, one oxygen atom of sulfate, and a water molecule. Non-bonded and planar cyanoguanidine and five crystallization water molecules complete the asymmetric unit. Vibrational (FT-IR and FT-Raman) spectroscopies and thermogravimetric determinations support this structure. Intensity enhancement of the fluorescence spectrum may be a demonstration of the interaction of the metal with phenanthroline. In solution the coordination behavior is rather different, and the speciation studies point to coordination of both cnge and phenanthroline to cadmium. The improvement of the antibacterial activity of cadmium upon complexation has been determined.  相似文献

Two new discrete Btz-bridged pentanuclear metal complexes, [HDMF][NaHg4(Btz)6I4] (1) and [Zn5(Btz)6(L)3(Ac)]?·?0.5MeOH?·?0.5H2O (2) (Btz?=?deprotonated benzotriazole, L?=?p-aminobenzoate, HDMF?=?protonated DMF, and Ac?=?acetate), were synthesized using three-layered diffusion and natural evaporation methods, respectively. In 1, the pentanuclear anion [NaHg4(Btz)6I4]? is composed of a tetrahedral arrangement of four four-coordinate Hg(II) ions centered on the six-coordinate Na(I), and thereby forming a rare Btz-bridged hetero-metal complex. Compound 2 is a neutral pentanuclear homo-metal complex, consisting of a tetrahedral arrangement of four five-coordinate Zn(II) ions centered on the fifth six-coordinate Zn(II). The thermal stabilities and solid-state photoluminescence of the two complexes have been investigated.  相似文献

Abstract

The photochemical insertion of phenylacetylene with the “tied-back” dinuclear complex [(η5-C5H4)2SiMe2]Fe2(CO)2(μ-CO)2 (4) yields, by X-ray structural analysis, a dimetallacyclopentenone product entirely analogous to that obtained from the photochemical reaction of the alkyne with (η5 - C5H5)2Fe2(CO)2(μ-CO)2 (1). This result is interpreted as evidence for an alternative pathway for photochemical alkyne addition to 1. Attempts to identify the photochemical intermediates from 4 have been unsuccessful. A competition study between 1 and 4 indicates that photochemical alkyne insertion into 1 is preferred by approximate ratio of 2:1 over insertion into 4.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title complex was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The unit cell contains two independent molecules, A and B. B is a mononuclear Cu(II) complex with square-planar coordination geometry formed by two benzimidazole molecules and two hydroxylbenzoate anions. A is a dimer of B, formed by bridging hydroxybenzoate, and copper assumes square-pyramidal geometry. Aromatic π–π stacking is observed between parallel benzimidazole rings of neighboring A molecules. IR spectra of the compound are assigned in line with the crystal structure.  相似文献

Four organic–inorganic crystals, [(HL1)2(ZnCl4)]·H2O (1) (L1?=?2-methylquinoline), [(HL1)2(CuCl4)] (2), [(HL2)2SnCl6] (3) (L2?=?6-bromobenzo[d]thiazol-2-amine), and [(HL3)FeCl4] (4) (L3?=?5,7-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridine-2-amine), derived from N-containing aromatic Brønsted bases and metal(II) chlorides (zinc(II) chloride, copper(II) chloride dihydrate, tin(II) chloride dihydrate, and iron(III) chloride hexahydrate) were prepared at room temperature and characterized by IR, X-ray structure analysis, elemental analysis, and TG analysis. The crystals are built up by perchlorometallates (Zn, Cu, Sn, and Fe) associated with organic cations through multiple non-covalent associations. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 and 2 have 3-D network structures built from hydrogen bonds between the cations and chlorometallates. Water molecules play an important role in structure extension in 1. Anhydrous 3 and 4 produced from 2-aminoheterocyclic derivatives display 2-D sheet structures. Arrangements of anions and cations are dominated by shape and size of cations, and also by the different structures of the chlorometallates as well as non-bonding interactions in the crystal structures. Except for 1, the other compounds are thermally stable below 240°C.  相似文献

Abstract

A new 2D Co(II) based coordination polymer (CP), {[Co2(tib)2(NO3)3(H2O)2·NO3]n (1), has been synthesized using 1,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene (tib) ligand. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study indicates that 1 possesses an infinite 2D layer, which is further extended into a 3D supramolecular network via O–H···O hydrogen bonding interactions. Additionally, the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of CP indicates its decomposition temperature was about 268?°C. The UV/Vis diffuse-reflection spectrum of 1 indicates its semiconducting nature on the basis of which the photocatalytic properties of 1 against photodecomposition of organic dyes have been studied. The possible mechanism associated with the photocatalytic activity of 1 against organic dyes is addressed using density of states (DOS) calculations.  相似文献

Two structurally similar trinuclear complexes, [Cu(Cu(μ-Cl)2L1)2] (1) and [Cu(Cu(μ-Cl)2L2)2] (2) (HL1 = 4-chloro-2-[(2-morpholin-4-ylethylimino)methyl]phenol, HL2 = 1-[(2-piperidin-1ylethylimino)methyl]naphthalen-2-ol), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Both complexes are bridged trinuclear compounds. The central Cu in each complex is in an octahedral environment with two phenolate and four bridging chlorides. The symmetry-related terminal Cu in each complex is square pyramidal with one phenolate oxygen, one imine nitrogen and one amine nitrogen of the Schiff-base ligand, one Cl? in the basal plane, and one bridging Cl? in the apical position. The complexes and Schiff bases were tested in vitro for their antibacterial activities.  相似文献

Three new 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole (DABTZ) lead(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR-, 1H-NMR-, and 13C-NMR-spectroscopy. The single crystal X-ray structural analysis of [Pb(DABTZ)(μ-SCN)(μ-NO3)] n shows the complex to be a 1D chain polymer as a result of sequential thiocyanate and nitrate bridging. The Pb atoms are seven-coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of the 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole, three nitrate and two thiocyanate ligands. The arrangement of the 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole, nitrate and thiocyanate ligands does not suggest a gap in the coordination around the PbII ion, caused by a stereo-active lone pair of electrons on lead(II) where the coordination around the lead atoms is the less common holodirected.  相似文献
