This paper presents a study of the vibratory behaviour of a flexible workpiece subject to a milling end operation. Indeed, this vibratory behaviour is critical, especially when the excitation frequency is near to the resonance. For this reason, passive vibration suppression is considered in order to attenuate the dynamic response of the milled workpiece and decrease the dynamic effect on the resulting machined surface roughness and flatness. In order to confirm the efficiency of the passive vibration suppression, the vibratory behaviour and the quality (roughness and flatness) of a machined surface are studied without and with passive absorber (TMD) using a finite-element model. 相似文献

The electromagnetic field scattered by an impedance plane is generally given by its plane wave expansion (Fourier representation). Here we derive an alternative expression which is more suitable for point source illumination. For this, we consider an original expression of the Hertz potentials for the incident field and express the scattered potentials in a novel form. A special function then involved can be expressed in an integral which is in turn expanded in a convergent series. The expression presented also permits us to express complete asymptotics. In this paper, after obtaining the mode-locked pulse shape with self-reproduction theory, the influence of the bias current on the output characteristics of a backward-optical-injection harmonic mode-locked fiber ring laser consisting of two semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) has been numerically investigated. The results show that the mode-locked pulse with high peak power and narrow width can be obtained through reasonably adjusting the bias currents of the two SOAs. 相似文献

In this paper a new control methodology for underactuated mechanical systems is proposed. The basic idea of this method is to combine passive velocity field control with decoupling vector field. In order that the underactuated mechanical systems can be stabilized at the desired position after settling on the desired velocity vector field, novel control strategies are proposed. Proposed control strategies are applied to the underactuated planar three-link manipulator and underactuated planar body. For the first time, we numerically demonstrate that similaritons in passive fibers can only propagate with parabolic profile without oscillations in a limited self-similar propagation region when low-order approximation is applied. Dispersion-decreasing fiber (DDF) and nonlinearity increasing fiber (NIF) are used here to generate self-similar pulse in different passive ways. Moreover, we put forward several self-similar features to judge effective similariton propagation and determine self-similar region by numerical simulations and waveform observation. Finally we compare in DDF and NIF the dependence of these regions on incident pulse and fiber parameters in order to obtain parabolic similariton more effectively and steadily. These results extend the low-order propagation properties in passive fibers and are beneficial for the generation of high-quality similariton pulse by parameter selection in experimental studies and practical applications. 相似文献

Objective: Skeletal muscle function is vital for preventing injury during exercise. It has been reported that skeletal muscle function fluctuates with the menstrual cycle and is considered one of the causes of injury. This study aimed to clarify the relationship between muscle flexibility and muscle contraction characteristics and their changes with the menstrual cycle. Methods: The subjects were healthy women who voluntarily participated in the study through recruitment posters. Muscle flexibility was measured with the passive knee extension (PKE) test, isokinetic knee flexor strength, and the maximum muscle strength exertion angle under two conditions of 60°/s and 120°/s in dominant hamstrings. Additionally, their correlations were analyzed and compared between the menstrual and ovulatory phases. Results: Sixteen subjects (mean age: 20.56 ± 0.73 years; body mass index: 20.21 ± 1.60) participated in the study. Correlation analysis showed a significant negative correlation between PKE and the maximum muscle strength exertion angle under the condition of 60°/s during the menstrual phase (r = –0.54; p = 0.03). No significant difference was observed in the two-group comparison of the variables measured during the menstrual and ovulatory phases. Conclusion: This study confirmed that the more flexible muscles generate the maximum strength at a more contracted position during the menstrual phase in women. In the future, it is necessary to examine the relationship between the results of this study and exercise performance and injury occurrence. 相似文献
