This work presents an automatic system, based on an electronic tongue, for resolution of mixtures of three pesticides. Inhibition detections were performed during the steady state of biosensors response. Three biosensors were built using two enzymes, electric eel (EE), genetically-modified Drosophila melanogaster (B131), and electric eel co-immobilized with drosophila melanogaster (BH). Calibrations curves for paraoxon, dichorlvos, and carbofuran were performed in the ranges 0.4–50.4 µM, 0.01–1.01 µM, 0.01–0.41 µM with LOD of 3.91 × 10?8, 6.30 × 10?11, and 5.84 × 10?10, respectively. An artificial neural network (ANN) was used to model the combined response of three pesticides. A set of 19 mixtures were prepared in order to train the artificial neural network, the modeling was validated with a set of 6 spiked samples of river water. The error and recovery yields were found in consistent with expected values.  相似文献

A solid phase extraction system for separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of Pb(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) and Cu(II) is proposed. The procedure is based on the adsorption of Pb2+, Ni2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+ ions on a column of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) immobilised on surfactant-coated clinoptilolite prior to their determinations by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (FAAS). The effective parameters including pH, sample volume, sample flow rate and eluent flow rate were also studied. The analytes collected on the column were eluted with 5 mL of 1 mol L?1 nitric acid. A concentration factor of 180 can be achieved by passing 900 mL of sample through the column. The detection limits (3 s) for Cd, Cu, Pb and Ni were found to be 0.28, 0.12, 0.44 and 0.46 µg L?1, respectively. The relative SDs at 10 µg L?1 (n = 10) for analytes were in the range of 1.2–1.4%. The method was applied to the determination of Pb, Ni, Cd and Cu in water samples.  相似文献

An extraction device has been investigated for the separation and preconcentration of a series of volatile organic compounds (CHCl3, CHCl2Br, CHClBr2 and CHBr3) in aqueous matrices. The device consisted of a microporous membrane system utilising a hollow fibre tube filled with organic solvent directly immersed into the sample solution. The hollow fibre containing 160 µL organic solvent was immersed in a glass vial with 10 mL capacity, and the extraction took place through diffusive transport between the aqueous sample and the small amount of solvent. For validation of the method, some operational conditions, such as extraction solvent, temperature, stirring rate and separation time, were optimised. Limit of detection was at low ppb levels, with GC-MS analysis under selected ion monitoring (SIM), whereas enrichment factors between 22 and 35 were obtained. Good reproducibility with RSDs between 7.2% and 9.8% and large linear dynamic ranges with R 2 between 0.996 and 0.998 were also achieved. In addition, the performance of the membrane assisted solvent extraction (MASE) system was compared with two existing configurations: a non-porous membrane separation device, as well as with a comparable microporous configuration. The comparison considered the extraction mechanism and the underlying transport processes. The application to real samples showed a good concordance with classical analytical methods.  相似文献

A procedure has been proposed for the separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of thallium. It is based on the adsorption of thallium ions onto organo nanoclay loaded with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN). Thallium ions were quantitatively retained on the column in the pH range of 3.5–6.0, whereas quantitative desorption occurs with 5.0?mL of 5% ascorbic acid and thallium was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Linearity was maintained between 0.66?ng?mL?1–15.0?µg?mL?1?in initial solution. Detection limit was 0.2?ng?mL?1?in initial solution and preconcentration factor was 150. Eight replicate determinations of 2.0?µg?mL?1 of thallium in final solution gave a relative standard deviation of ±1.48%. Various parameters have been studied, such as the effect of pH, breakthrough volume and interference of a large number of anions and cations and the proposed method was used to determine thallium ions in water and standard samples. Determination of thallium ions in standard sample showed that the proposed method has good accuracy.  相似文献

Dithiocarbamate modified polyurethane foam (DTC-PUF) was synthesized as a new solid-phase extraction sorbent for the preconcentration and determination of Fe(II), Mn(II) and Cu(II) in environmental samples using flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Maximum extraction of the elements was achieved at pH 5–7 and flow rate 3 mL min?1. Quantitative desorption was achieved by 10 mL from 1.0 mol L?1 HCl solution. The capacity of the sorbent was 149.2 ± 0.5, 237.5 ± 0.2, 200.2 ± 0.1 μg g?1 and the limit of detection was of 0.015, 0.015 and 0.012 μg mL?1for Fe(II), Mn(II) and Cu(II), respectively. A preconcentration factor of 100 was obtained for all elements. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of the tested elements in water (tap and lake) and plant (spinach and parsley leaves) samples and showed good recovery values from 98 to 111% with corresponding RSD values ranged from 0.6 to 8.6%.  相似文献

As a new developed instrument, a portable tungsten coil electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometer (W-coil ET-AAS) was first coupled with surfactant assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (SA-DLLME) to improve its analytical performance and expand its applications in this work. SA-DLLME was very simple, rapid and the extraction efficiency was considerably improved by the effect of surfactant, which was suitable to be coupled with the portable instrument in field analysis. After SA-DLLME, concentrated chromium in organic phase was directly determined on W-coil atomiser. The influence factors relevant to SA-DLLME and instrumental conditions were studied systematically. Under the optimal conditions, the limit of detection (LOD) for Cr(VI) was 0.016 µg L?1, with sensitivity enhancement factor (EF) of 107. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for seven replicate measurements of 0.5 µg L?1 of Cr(VI) was 4.6%. The recoveries for the spiked samples were in the acceptable range of 96.8–104%. The rapid, simple and high effective method greatly improved the sensitivity of this portable spectrometer for the determination of Cr(VI) and was applied to the analysis of ultra-trace Cr(VI) in real and certified water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this work a solid phase on-line uranium ion preconcentration system coupled with spectrophotometry has been developed. The method is based on uranyl ion preconcentration at pH 3.75 onto multiwall carbon nanotubes treated with HNO3. After preconcentration, the uranyl ions are eluted with 0.32?mol?L?1HCl followed by reaction with 3,6-bis[(2-arsonophenyl)-azo]-4,5-dihydroxy-2,7-naphthalendisulfonic acid 0.08%[w/v] (Arsenazo III), which had maximum monitored absorbance of 650?nm. Effects of the pertinent experimental parameters on the system were investigated by means of 26?2 fractional factorial design, while optimization was carried out using the Doehlert matrix. Under optimized conditions, detection and quantification limits were found to be 0.21 and 0.7?µg?L?1, respectively. The analytical curve ranged from 5 to 150?µg?L?1 (r?=?0.998), while the relative standard deviations (RSD) were 3.27 and 2.56% for the respective uranium concentrations of 10 and 100?µg?L?1 (n?=?10). The features obtained for the on-line preconcentration system were: preconcentration factor of 228, concentration efficiency of 57?min?1, consumption index of 0.13?mL and sample throughput of 15?h?1. In order to assess the accuracy of the proposed method, addition and recovery studies were carried out on spring water samples from different sources and synthetic seawater with satisfactory results ranging from 94.85 up to 103.65%.  相似文献

A novel Rh(III)-imprinted amino-functionalised silica gel sorbent was prepared by a surface imprinting technique for preconcentration and separation of Rh(III) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Compared with the traditional solid sorbents and non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Rh(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Rh(III) was 29.86?mg?g?1 and 11.23?mg?g?1, respectively. The imprinted Rh(III) was removed with 2?mL of 3% thiourea?+?2?mol?L?1 HCl. The obtained imprinted particles exhibited excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics process for Rh(III). The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Rh(III)/Ru(III), Rh(III)/Au(III), Rh(III)/Pt(IV), Rh(III)/Ir(IV), Rh(III)/Pd(II) were 26.7, 39.0 29.2, 28.1, 43.7, respectively, which were greater than 1. The detection limit (3σ) of the method was 0.26?µg?L?1. The relative standard deviation of the method was 1.79% for eight replicate determination of 10?µg of Rh3+ in 200?mL water sample. The method was validated by analysing standard reference material (GBW 07293), the results obtained is in good agreement with standard values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace rhodium(III) in geological samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A simple back-extraction method was developed for the separation and preconcentration of trace levels of zinc from different matrices. Ethyl-2-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3-oxopropanoylcarbamate (EMPC) was used as a new complexing agent for the extraction of zinc(II) from the aqueous sample phase to the methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) phase as Zn(EMPC)2 complexes. The Zn(II) can be selectively stripped with 1?mL of 0.5?mol?L?1 HCl from Mn+(EMPC)n complexes [Ag(I), Al(III), Cd(II), Cr(III), Cu(II), Fe(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Pd(II)] which dissolved in MIBK phase. Some experimental parameters, which are important for the whole extraction process, including pH, sample volume, shaking time, amount of the EMPC reagent, amount of MIBK, ionic strength, and type of back-extractant were investigated. The recovery for Zn(II) was greater than 95%. The detection limit of the method was found to be 0.2?µg?L ? 1 and the relative standard deviation as 6.4%. The concentrations of Zn(II) in the certified reference materials (LGC6019 river water and NIST-1547 peach leaves) by the presented method were in good agreement with the certified values. The proposed method was succesfully applied to the determination of zinc in some natural waters, rice, hair, soil, and tea samples.  相似文献
