Automatic recognition of parts is an important problem in many industrial applications. One model of the problem is: given a finite set of polygonal parts, use a set of “width” measurements taken by a parallel-jaw gripper to determine which part is present. We study the problem of computing efficient strategies (“grasp plans”), with the goal to minimize the number of measurements necessary in the worst case. We show that finding a minimum length grasp plan is

A novel method for detecting and counting overlapping tracks in SSNTD by image processing techniques
Overlapping object detection and counting is a challenge in image processing. A new method for detecting and counting overlapping circles is presented in this paper. This method is based on pattern recognition and feature extraction using “neighborhood values“ in an object image by implementation of image processing techniques. The junction points are detected by assignment of a value for each pixel in an image. As is shown, the neighborhood values for junction points are larger than the values for other points. This distinction of neighborhood values is the main feature which can be utilized to identify the junction points and to count the overlapping tracks. This method can be used for recognizing and counting charged particle tracks, blood cells and also cancer cells. MODULEWRITER is a PERL object relational mapping (ORM) tool that automatically generates database specific application programming interfaces (APIs) for SQL databases. The APIs consist of a package of modules providing access to each table row and column. Methods for retrieving, updating and saving entries are provided, as well as other generally useful methods (such as retrieval of the highest numbered entry in a table). 当目标尺度发生变化时,传统Mean-Shift跟踪算法因跟踪窗口尺寸不变容易导致跟踪目标丢失,为解决此问题,本文提出一种带宽自适应算法对目标尺度变化进行检测,从而实现模板更新.该算法分别将模板图像与当前帧目标图像分割成等间隔半径的若干同心圆,通过计算模板图像与当前帧图像不同环层之间相似性度量,根据相应环层之间相似性度量关系确定当前帧模板带宽更新参量,最后利用kalman滤波完成模板尺度更新,从而实现目标稳定跟踪.实验证明,当目标尺度发生变化时,目标模板自动更新,能够实现目标稳定跟踪;相对传统Mean-Shift跟踪算法,目标跟踪可靠性能得到了提高. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a convergent Lagrangian and objective level cut method for computing exact solution to two classes
of nonlinear integer programming problems: separable nonlinear integer programming and polynomial zero-one programming. The
method exposes an optimal solution to the convex hull of a revised perturbation function by successively reshaping or re-confining
the perturbation function. The objective level cut is used to eliminate the duality gap and thus to guarantee the convergence
of the Lagrangian method on a revised domain. Computational results are reported for a variety of nonlinear integer programming
problems and demonstrate that the proposed method is promising in solving medium-size nonlinear integer programming problems. 相似文献
