On sequential procedures for the point estimation of the mean of a normal population

The sequential procedures developed by Starr (1966, Ann. Math. Statist., 37, 1173–1185) for estimating the mean of a normal population are further analyzed. Asymptotic properties of the regret and first two moments of the stopping rules are studied and second-order approximations are derived.     

Resistivity exponent of two-dimensional lattice animals

We calculate the average resistanceR(L) of lattice animals spanningL×L cells on the square lattice using exact and Monte Carlo methods. The dynamical resistivity exponent, defined asR(L) L , is found to be =1.36±0.07. This contradicts the Alexander-Orbach conjecture, which predicts 0.8. Our value for differs from earlier measurements of this quantity by other methods yielding =1.17±0.05 and 1.22±0.08 by Havlin et al.On leave from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.     

光声光谱法研究光学薄膜的吸收特性

本文以“一维热流活塞模型”为基础,推导出薄膜光声表达式,光声信号的幅值正比于吸收率.测量了透明基底上光学薄膜的光声吸收谱,实验结果与理论一致.尤其是测量弱吸收薄膜的吸收谱时,具有较高的灵敏度和实用性.     

SPS法研究ZnTPP对TiO_2的光谱敏化

本文利用表面光电压谱(Surface Photovohage spectroscopy,简称SPS)研究了ZnTPP对TiO_2粉末的光谱敏化,发现用ZnTPP修饰后的TiO_2(金红石和锐钛矿)粉末在可见区420、550和590nm附近有三个光伏响应带,它们分别对应于ZnTPP的Soret、Q(1,0)和Q(0,0)带。经过严格的实验和分析,证明这三个带是由ZnTPP对TiO_2的敏化光电压引起的,而不是ZnTPP自身的光伏响应。在敏化效果上,亚稳的锐钛矿优于金红石。同时,我们对这种光敏表面的光诱导电荷转移机制和SPS作为一种研究光谱敏化方法的可行性进行了讨论。     

Conformations, Energy and Spectral Characteristics of 2,3-Trimethylene- and 2,3-Pentamethylene-3,4-dihydro-4-quinazolinones

Quantum-chemical calculations and IR spectroscopy were used to study the conformations as well as the energy and spectral characteristics of 2,3-trimethylene- and 2,3-pentamethylene-3,4-dihydro-4-quinazolinones. The shift of -electron density from the heterocyclic system to the carbonyl group and, thus, the proton affinity of the oxygen atom of this group increase with expansion of the bond angle at the nitrogen atom in going from a five-membered to seven-membered ring.     

西安地区成年健康人群血清中微量元素正常值研究

用随机抽样的方法对西安地区436名健康人血清中Zn、Fe、Cu、Mn、Pb、Cd、Cr、Ni、Mo和Se十种微量元素正常值进行石墨炉原子吸收光谱法测定，并用ST286型计算机进行多因素相关分析和统计处理．结果表明，血清Zn、Cu分布比较集中，其它元素变异度比较大；多数元素与年龄呈相关关系。其中Zn、Cu、Fe、Mn、Pb、Se与年龄呈正相关 而Mo则与年龄呈负相关；多数元素含量与地城环境中徽量元素的分布有明显的相似性．总之，不同地区不同性别和不同年龄段血清微量元素有显著的差异．     

Fourier interferometric stimulation (FIS) in biology and medicine

A continuously scanning Michelson interferometer was developed to modulate an intensive light source spectrally. The interferogram is used as a stimulus to investigate spectral sensitivities in insects and man. The FIS-method is fast and precise and shows many advantages which are partly based on the advantages of Fourier spectroscopy. The existing applications are summarized.     

meso-四(对烷氧苯基)卟啉金属配合物的合成和性能研究(IV)

合成了系列卟啉乙酸合锰配合物9个,其中6个为未见文献报道的新化合物.用UV,1HNMR,IR,MS,元素分析等表征确证了配合物的结构,总结了锰与卟啉类配体配合的IR,UV,1HNMR判据.采用差示扫描量热法(DSC)和偏光显微镜(PM)研究了该系列配合物的液晶性能,发现8个配合物具有液晶性.考察了烷氧基链长、配位金属离子和分子空间结构对液晶性能的影响.     

Irreversible and reversible phase transitions of alkyl monolayers. Gas chromatographic evidence of polar solvent influence on the adsorbing properties of the layer

Summary Further to Gilpin's observations in liquid chromatography of the irreversible transformation of alkyl grafts, following the replacement of an organic mobile phase by an aqueous one, we describe some gas chromatographic experiments which lead to similar (log V_s, I/T) plots, as a consequence of the same solvent release process.We use paraffin films on siliceous supports or hydroxylated liquid substrates or C₂₂-alkyl bonded silica. These experiments demonstrate that this irreversible transition and the melting-like reversible transition are completely different phenomena. They confirm the existence of at least three kinds of monomeric alkyl films.
