A piezoelectric transducer is developed to perform direct measurements of the dynamic lift force acting on a circular cylinder in cross-flow, in the presence and absence of acoustic resonance. Details of the force transducer design are presented in the paper. The dynamic lift force is measured for a single cylinder with two different diameters, D=12.7 and 15.8 mm. During the tests, the first transverse acoustic mode of the duct housing the cylinder is self-excited. The fluctuating pressure on the top wall of the duct is measured simultaneously with the dynamic lift force. In the absence of acoustic resonance, the measured dynamic lift coefficients agree favorably with those reported in the literature. However, when the acoustic resonance is initiated, the dynamic lift experiences a drastic increase in amplitude associated with abrupt changes in the phase between the lift force and the acoustic pressure. A methodology to extract the hydrodynamic lift component from the total lift measured during acoustic resonance is also proposed. The hydrodynamic lift force is then decomposed into in-phase and out-of-phase components, with respect to the resonant sound pressure. This decomposition procedure provides new insights into the nature of the aeroacoustic sources in the cylinder wake. The proposed methodology, together with the test results provide a general design approach to assess the increase in the dynamic fluid loading on bluff bodies in cross-flow due to the excitation of acoustic resonance.  相似文献

A Tonpilz piezoelectric transducer which has a bending piezoelectric disk on the radiation surface for widening the frequency band to improve sonar detection performance in shallow water has been proposed. Variance of transmitting voltage response of this transducer depend on the phase difference between signals which applies to the ring-stack and the bending-disk piezoelectric resonators. Thus, an estimation of an optimal phase difference, which can be applied for obtaining the maximum value of transmitting voltage response, is important factor to assemble sonar array with sonar transducers. In this paper, we applied three methods to estimate transmitting voltage response at an arbitrary phase difference from a few measurements, and the estimation errors of those methods affected by internal impedances of power sources and/or noise are investigated to select the best method. The effectiveness of the best method was verified by water-pool experiments.  相似文献

This paper describes the fabrication and evaluation of a high-frequency (40 MHz) transducer based on lead-free piezoceramics for ultrasonic imaging. The transducer with an aperture size of 0.9 mm has been fabricated using barium strontium zirconate titanate ((Ba0.95Sr0.05)(Zr0.05Ti0.95)O3, abbreviated as BSZT) ceramics. The lead-free BSZT has a piezoelectric d33 coefficient of 300 pC/N and an electromechanical coupling factor kt of 0.45. High-frequency ultrasound transducers were fabricated and a bandwidth of 76.4% has been achieved with an insertion loss of −26 dB. Applications in high resolution biological and medical imaging could be possible with this lead-free material.  相似文献

A cylindrical standing wave ultrasonic motor using bending vibration transducer was proposed in this paper. The proposed stator contains a cylinder and a bending vibration transducer. The two combining sites between the cylinder and the transducer locate at the adjacent wave loops of bending vibration of the transducer and have a distance that equal to the half wave length of bending standing wave excited in the cylinder. Thus, the bending mode of the cylinder can be excited by the bending vibration of the transducer. Two circular cone type rotors are pressed in contact to the end rims of the teeth, and the preload between the rotors and stator is accomplished by a spring and nut system. The working principle of the proposed motor was analyzed. The motion trajectories of teeth were deduced. The stator was designed and analyzed with FEM. A prototype motor was fabricated and measured. Typical output of the prototype is no-load speed of 165 rpm and maximum torque of 0.45 N m at an exciting voltage of 200 Vrms.  相似文献

高强度聚焦超声(high intensity focused ultrasound,HIFU)焦域的实时监测是聚焦超声临床治疗面临的关键问题,目前临床常采用B超图像强回声的变化实现焦域组织损伤的监测,而B超图像出现的强回声大多与焦域处的空化及沸腾气泡相关,无法准确、实时地监测治疗状态.HIFU治疗中焦域组织会伴随温度升高、空化、沸腾和组织特性等变化,换能器表面的声学负载也在不断变化,针对该问题,本文构建了换能器电压电流实时检测平台,通过测量换能器电学参数来感知焦域组织的状态变化.以离体牛肝组织作为HIFU辐照对象,并将相位差变化的结果与离体牛肝组织损伤的结果进行了对照,实验结果表明,在HIFU辐照过程中,换能器电压与电流的相位会出现由相对平稳到大幅波动的过程,此时停止辐照可见焦域出现明显损伤,而此时B超图像灰度无明显变化;此外,当焦域出现空化时,其波动幅度与范围将较之更大.此方法可为HIFU焦域组织损伤监测提供一种新的研究方案和手段.  相似文献

Microcystis aeruginosa, as a typical alga, produces microcystin with strong liver toxicity, seriously endangering the liver health of human and animals. Inhibiting the bloom of the Microcystis aeruginosa in lakes becomes a significant and meaningful work. Ultrasonic cavitation is currently considered to be the most environmentally friendly and effective method for the removal of Microcystis aeruginosa. However, the commercialized ultrasonic algae removal systems require multi-Langevin transducers to achieve omnidirectional ultrasonic irradiation due to the single irradiation direction of the Langevin transducer, resulting in the complex design and high energy consumption. To achieve a low-cost, simple structure, and high-efficiency algae removal system, a novel omnidirectional ultrasonic cavitation removal system for Microcystis aeruginosa is proposed. The proposed system is major composed of a novel omnidirectional ultrasonic transducer, which generates the omnidirectional ultrasonic irradiation by its shaking-head motion coupled by two orthogonal bending vibration modes. Modal simulation, sound field simulation, and cavitation bubble radius simulation are first carried out to optimize the geometric sizes of the proposed transducer and verify the correctness of the omnidirectional ultrasonic irradiation principle. Then the vibration characteristics of the transducer prototype are measured by vibration tests and impedance tests. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed omnidirectional ultrasonic removal system for Microcystis aeruginosa are evaluated through the algae removal experiments. The experimental results exhibit that the algal cells damaged by ultrasonic irradiation from the proposed system do not have the ability to self-repair. In addition, the algal removal rates reached 55.41% and 72.97% after 30 min of ultrasonic treatment when the corresponding ultrasonic densities are 0.014 W/mL and 0.021 W/mL, respectively. The proposed omnidirectional ultrasonic algae removal system significantly simplifies the configuration and reduces energy consumption, presenting the potential promise of algae removal and environmental protection.  相似文献

This paper investigates a new method for fabrication of broadband line-focus ultrasonic transducers by sol–gel spin-coating the poly(vinylidene difluoride-trifluroethylene) [P(VDF-TrFE)] copolymer film on a concave fine-polished beryllium copper backing. The ferroelectric hysteresis loops of the P(VDF-TrFE) films spin-coated from different molar ratios of VDF/TrFE, 77/23 and 55/45, were measured to select the better mixture. Owing to the better acoustic matching to water, compared with lead zirconate titanate (PZT), the fabricated transducers show relatively wide bandwidth of approximately 50 MHz with high central frequency of 60 MHz obtained at the focal plane when a fused-quartz acts as a reflecting target. Each one of the two finished transducers has a focal length of 5 mm and a full aperture angle of 90°. After applying the specially developed digital signal processing algorithm to the defocusing experiment data, which is called V(f,z) analysis method based on two-dimensional fast Fourier transform (2-D FFT), the operating frequency can extend from several MHz to over 90 MHz. Surface acoustic wave (SAW) velocities of a typical (1 0 0) silicon wafer was measured along various directions between [1 0 0] and [0 1 0] to represent the anisotropic features.  相似文献

based on optimal design on the core element of the sensor,a wireless and passive surface acoustic wave(SAW)temperature sensor integrated with ID Tag was presented.A reflective delay line,which consists of a transducer and eight reflectors on YZ LiNbO3 substrate.Was fabricated as the sensor element,in which,three reflectors were used for temperature sensing,and the other five were for the ID Tag using phase encoding.Single phase unidirectional transducers(SPUDTs)and shorted grating were used to structure the sAW device,leading to excellent signal to noise ratio(SNR).The performance of the SAW device was simulated by the coupling of modes(COM)prior to fabrication.Using the network analyzer,the response in time domain of the fabricated 434 MHz SAW sensor was characterized,the measured S11 agrees well with the simulated one,sharp reflection peaks,high signal/noise,and low spurious noise between the reflection peaks were observed.Using the radar system based on FSCW as the reader unit.the developed SAW temperature sensors were evaluated wirelessly.Excellent1 inearity and good resolution of士1℃ were observed.  相似文献

提出用环氧树脂聚合物作为换能器与Hg2Br2声光介质的缓冲层(粘接层),设计Hg2Br2声光器件的换能器。根据换能器等效电路网络分析法,就x切LN/Hg2Br2声光器件的电极层各种金属材料和厚度计算了换能器损耗TL随规一化频率f/fo的变化关系。从声光器件的布喇格带宽和工艺条件出发,优化选择了换能器损耗为3dB范围内的换能器结构、电极层材料及其厚度和压电层厚度,并确保了换能器的倍频程带宽。  相似文献
