采用M itchell公式和裂隙扩展深度方程两种吸力法确定安康地区膨胀土大气影响深度和裂隙开展深度。其一通过对安康地区两处天然边坡开挖观测井,利用张力计进行不同深度处吸力值的现场量测,根据M itchell提出公式计算大气影响深度;其二根据非饱和土抗拉强度公式,建立膨胀土裂隙扩展深度方程,利用基质吸力量测结果求其理论解。结果表明,安康地区膨胀土吸力变化曲线随深度增加变幅减小,呈“波浪式”推移。M itchell公式确定安康地区膨胀土的大气影响深度为3.35m以内,裂隙深度方程确定裂隙开展深度为3.063.14m。利用M itchell公式计算大气影响深度与膨胀土断裂理论公式确定的裂隙开展深度结果接近。  相似文献

The study of hydrolysis on biodegradable poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) is essential to predict the materials properties in a humid environment. In this study, PBS nanocomposites were exposed to different conditions of relative humidity (RH) and temperature. The moisture uptake increased with organo-montmorillonite (OMMT) loading and the RH of the testing environment. The exposure of PBS and the nanocomposites to a humid environment caused changes in the mechanical properties. The hydrolytic degradation becomes more pronounced upon hygrothermal aging at high temperature, whereby premature failure occurred. PBS nanocomposites were found to exhibit a better hydrolytic stability than neat PBS. The degradation was evaluated through Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). A drastic reduction in the molecular weight of PBS has revealed the occurrence of degradation after exposure to moisture and heat. This has led to an alteration of the thermal behavior as investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).  相似文献

During the pneumatic conveying, pulverized coal with different moisture contents may develop substantial difference in flow characteristics, whose cause is not fully understood. This study focused on influence of moisture content on conveying characteristics in an experimental test facility with the conveying pressure up to 4 MPa. The experiments included soft coal and lignite with similar density and particle size. With the increase in moisture content, the mass flow rate decreased for lignite (3.24% < M < 8.18%) but increased at first and then decreased for soft coal (0.4% < M < 6.18%) at same operating parameters. The flowability of soft coal was worse than that of lignite at similar operating parameters and external moisture content. The extremal conveying moisture contents of two coal types were obtained. The particle charge and surface moisture content were investigated to indicate influence mechanism of moisture content on mass flow rate in pneumatic conveying at high pressure. Pressure drop of soft coal was greater than that of lignite for same test section. The conveying phase diagram of dense-phase pulverized coal at high pressure was obtained and the pressure drops through different test sections were compared and analyzed. The bend loss factor rose with the increase in moisture content and was independent of conveying velocity and solid-gas ratio in dense-phase pneumatic conveying at high pressure.  相似文献

A finite element study is conducted to determine the thermal response of a widely used glass reinforced plastic panel exposed to fire. This study is performed based on a formulation developed previously by the authors and improved by including the moisture and temperature-dependent thermal properties and a newly developed time-dependent non-linear mixed boundary condition at the unexposed surface of the panel. In addition, the influence of non-zero final resin mass is considered according to a recently performed thermal gravimetric analysis. In order to derive the appropriate element equations, a mixed explicit–implicit Bubnov–Galerkin finite element approach is adopted. Results of this study are presented for a standard, 10.9 mm, thickness of single-skinned polyester-based glass reinforced plastic panel and comprise temperature profiles, density distributions and moisture profiles. Comparisons are made between the predicted results and those obtained experimentally. The predicted temperatures agreed with the experimental results with an average difference of 21.41°C. A simple comparison of the present value with that of the authors’ previous model, 29.66°C, indicates a considerable improvement of 38.53% in the fire-performance prediction of the material.  相似文献

This paper studies the influence of moisture absorption of cotton fabrics on the effectiveness of atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) on desizing of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). Cotton fabrics with three different moisture regains (MR), namely 1.8%, 7.3%, and 28.4% corresponding to 10%, 65%, and 98% of relative humidity respectively, are treated for 16 s, 32 s, 48 s, and 64 s. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicates that the plasma treated PVA has higher oxygen concentration than the control. Mass loss results show that the fabric with the highest MR has the largest mass loss after 64 s plasma exposure. Solubility measurement reveals that the sample with the lowest MR has the highest desizing efficacy and the percent desizing ratio reaches 96% after 64 s exposure plus a 20 min hot wash, which is shown as clean as the unsized sample through scanning electron microscopy analysis. The yarn tensile strength test results show that APPJ has no negative effect on fabric tensile strength.  相似文献

Room temperature ionic liquids (ILs) that can exhibit a colorimetric response to moisture in the air are rarely reported in the literature. In this study, an azophenolic IL solution exhibited a spontaneous a colorimetric response, driven by the formation of hydrogen bonding between the [PhN=NPhO] anion and moisture in the air. This phenomenon was clearly understood using ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) absorption spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra, experimental data, and theoretical calculations. Specifically, in the UV-Vis absorption spectra, absorption around 455 nm decreased, while the band around 343 nm increased in the IL CHCl3 solution as time progressed; this was accompanied by a color change from orange to faint yellow. This spontaneous, self-responsive process was further observed using 1H NMR data. When the IL solution was placed with sufficient time, all the 1H NMR peaks of the azophenolic anion shifted downfield, but no new signals appeared in the upfield region. The reason for this was easily identified as the stimuli in the air, such as CO2 and moisture. When pure CO2 was bubbled through the IL CHCl3 solution, the solution color changed from its original orange to light orange, but could not change further to faint yellow, which ruled out CO2 gas as a stimulus. When a small amount of water was gradually added to the IL solution (MeCN solvent), the absorption band around 474 nm decreased, coupled with an increase in the absorption band around 347 nm. This was accompanied by a color change from orange to faint yellow, which was almost identical to the self-responsive process in CHCl3 and CCl4. Moreover, two cuvettes of IL CHCl3 solution were placed under relative humidities of 28% and 100%, respectively; the IL CHCl3 solution required a much longer time to exhibit a complete color change from orange to faint yellow under a lower relative humidity, demonstrating that moisture is the most likely stimulus triggering the self-responsive color change of the IL solution. As revealed by the Gaussian 09 program at the B3LYP/6-31++G(p, d) level, the distance between the oxygen atom on the azophenolic anion and the hydrogen atom on the H2O molecule was 0.174 nm, and the corresponding angle was 171.12°. Furthermore, the atomic dipole moment corrected Hirshfeld (ADCH) charge of the oxygen atom on the azophenolic anion was −0.52, and it increased to −0.62 after the azophenolic anion interacted with the H2O. Reduced density gradient analysis revealed that the spike corresponding to O∙∙∙H―O for the IL-H2O complex was located at around −0.04 a.u.. All the above data indicate that the presence of hydrogen bonding rendered the IL solution responsive to the moisture stimulus, and this response was accompanied by a color change that was visible to the naked eye. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first demonstration of a colorimetric change in an IL solution in response to moisture. We hope this work can help us to gain insight into some seemingly abnormal phenomena that occur during the research process.  相似文献

The combination of the near infrared (NIR) and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) absorbance spectra (1100-2500 nm and 4000-600 cm−1) of 100 cocoa powder samples was used to build calibration models for the determination of the content of fat, nitrogen, and moisture. The samples that comprised the dataset had an average composition of 13.51% of fat, 3.77% nitrogen, and 3.98% moisture. The fat content ranged from 2.42 to 22.00%, the nitrogen from 0.88 to 4.48%, and moisture from 1.60 to 7.80%. For NIR, the relative root mean square error of cross-validation (RMSECV) was 7.0% (R2 = 0.96) for fat, 1.7% (R2 = 0.98) for nitrogen, and 5.2% (R2 = 0.94) for moisture. For FTIR, the relative RMSECV was 10.4% (R2 = 0.94) for fat and 3.9% (R2 = 0.95) for nitrogen. However, for moisture, it was not possible to build a calibration model with suitable predictability. The combination of the NIR and FTIR domains (data fusion) by outer product analysis PLS1 allowed to predict these parameters and to characterise frequencies in one domain based on the information of the other domain. This work allows to conclude that the second derivative of NIR is the recommended procedure to quantify fat, nitrogen, and moisture content in cocoa powders by infrared spectroscopy.  相似文献
