Stability analysis in Lagrange sense for a non-autonomous Cohen–Grossberg neural network with mixed delays

The paper discusses the global exponential stability in the Lagrange sense for a non-autonomous Cohen–Grossberg neural network (CGNN) with time-varying and distributed delays. The boundedness and global exponential attractivity of non-autonomous CGNN with time-varying and distributed delays are investigated by constructing appropriate Lyapunov-like functions. Moreover, we provide verifiable criteria on the basis of considering three different types of activation function, which include both bounded and unbounded activation functions. These results can be applied to analyze monostable as well as multistable biology neural networks due to making no assumptions on the number of equilibria. Meanwhile, the results obtained in this paper are more general and challenging than that of the existing references. In the end, an illustrative example is given to verify our results.     

Uniqueness of Oblique Derivative Problems for Second Order Equations of Mixed Type with Nonsmooth Degenerate Line

In [], the authors discussed the Tricomi problem of second order mixed equations with nonsmooth degenerate line, but they only consider some special mixed equations. In [], the author discussed the uniqueness of solutions of the Tricomi problem for some second order mixed equations with nonsmooth degenerate line. The present article deals with oblique derivative problems for general second order mixed equations with nonsmooth parabolic degenerate line, and prove the uniqueness of solutions of the problems. We first give the formulation of the problems for the equations, and then prove the uniqueness of solutions for the above problems.     

About the Tricomi problem for the mixed parabolic–hyperbolic type equation with complex spectral parameter

The unique solvability of the Tricomi problem for the parabolic–hyperbolic equation with complex spectral parameter is proved. Uniqueness of the solution is shown by the method of energy integral and existence by the method of integral equations.

Postman problems on series–parallel mixed graphs

Given a strongly connected, mixed graph with costs on its edges and arcs, the mixed postman problem is to find a minimum cost closed walk traversing its edges and arcs at least once. This problem is NP-hard even on planar graphs but is solvable in polynomial time on series–parallel graphs. We give $O\left(n{m}^2\right)$ dynamic programming algorithms for the mixed postman problem and other similar problems on series–parallel graphs with $n$ vertices and $m$ edges and arcs.

Iterative Algorithm for Finding Approximate Solutions of a Class of Mixed Variational-like Inequalities

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the iterative algorithm for finding approximate solutionsof a class of mixed variational-like inequalities in a real Hilbert space,where the iterative algorithm is presentedby virtue of the auxiliary principle technique.On one hand,the existence of approximate solutions of this classof mixed variational-like inequalities is proven.On the other hand,it is shown that the approximate solutionsconverge strongly to the exact solution of this class of mixed variational-like inequalities.     

A TRULY GLOBALLY CONVERGENT FEASIBLE NEWTON-TYPE METHOD FOR MIXED COMPLEMENTARITY PROBLEMS

Typical solution methods for solving mixed complementarity problems either generatefeasible iterates but have to solve relatively complicated subproblems such as quadraticprograms or linear complementarity problems,or(those methods)have relatively simplesubproblems such as system of linear equations but possibly generate infeasible iterates.In this paper,we propose a new Newton-type method for solving monotone mixed com-plementarity problems,which ensures to generate feasible iterates,and only has to solve asystem of well-conditioned linear equations with reduced dimension per iteration.Withoutany regularity assumption,we prove that the whole sequence of iterates converges to a so-lution of the problem(truly globally convergent).Furthermore,under suitable conditions,the local superlinear rate of convergence is also established.

本文研究了Tao等人在1999年提出的半参数混合效应模型,在不假设随机效应服从正态分布的条件下,用傅立叶变换的方法构造了随机效应的光滑非参数密度估计,给出了密度估计的公式,研究了其渐近性质,还构造了半参数混合效应模型中参数的估计方法并研究了其大样本性质。
