We consider a magnetic Schrödinger operator L W , q in Ω and show how to recover the boundary values of the tangential component of the vector potential W from the Dirichlet to Neumann map for L W , q . We also consider a steady state heat equation with convection term Δ+2W·? and recover the boundary values of the convection term W from the Dirichlet to Neumann map. Well‐defined polymer‐nanoparticle hybrids were prepared by a newly reported method: atom transfer radical polymerization using activators generated by electron transfer (AGET ATRP) mediated by iron catalyst. The kinetics of the surface‐initiated AGET ATRP of methyl methacrylate from the silica nanoparticles, which was mediated by FeCl3/triphenylphosphine as a catalyst complex, ascorbic acid as a reducing agent, N,N‐dimethylformamide as the solvent in the presence of a “sacrificial” (free) initiator, was studied. Both the free and grafted polymers were grown in a control manner. The chemical composition of the nanocomposites was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Thermogravimetric analysis was used to estimate the content of the grafted organic compound, and transmission electron micrographs was used to observe the core‐shell structure of the hybrid nanoparticles. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this study, a novel extraction and enrichment technique based on superparamagnetic high-magnetization C18-functionalized magnetic silica nanoparticles (C18-MNPs) as sorbents was successfully developed for the determination of methylprednisolone (MP) in rat plasma by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The synthesized silica-coated magnetite modified with chlorodimethyl-n-octadecylsilane was about 320 nm in diameter with strong magnetism and high surface area. It provided an efficient way for extraction and concentration of MP in the samples through hydrophobic interaction by the interior C18 groups. Moreover, MP adsorbed with C18-MNPs could be simply and rapidly isolated through placing a strong magnet on the bottom of container, and then easily eluted from C18-MNPs by n-hexane solution. Extraction conditions such as amounts of C18-MNPs added, adsorption time and desorption solvent, were investigated. Method validations including linear range, detection limit, precision, and recovery were also studied. The results showed that the proposed method based on C18-MNPs was a simple, accurate and high efficient approach for the analysis of MP in the complex plasma samples. 相似文献

Biocomposite layers of silica and various bone-relevant proteins such as collagen, gelatine and commercial collagen hydrolysate can be obtained from coatings of silica sols mixed with proteins in water/dioxane. Investigations into the mechanical and cell proliferation properties for different sol parameters (pH, solvent), type and concentration of proteins, annealing and crosslinking of the biocomposite layers revealed that such coatings are highly biocompatible with excellent mechanical properties. 相似文献

The structural and magnetic properties of cubic perovskites, PrCoO3 and NdCoO3, are studied using the full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method within the frame work of density functional theory (DFT). The structural parameters are also investigated by analytical techniques. The calculated structural parameters are consistent with the experimental results. The strong hybridization of the O-2p, Co-3d and Pr/Nd-4 f states around the Fermi level reveals that these compounds are metallic. It is also found that the origin of ferromagnetism in these compounds is double-exchange interaction between Co-3d states via O-2p states (Co-O-Co). 相似文献

We report electron magnetic resonance (EMR) and magnetooptical studies of borate glasses of molar composition 22.5K2O-22.5Al2O3-55B2O3 co-doped with low concentrations of Fe2O3 and MnO. In as-prepared samples the paramagnetic ions, as a rule, are in diluted state. However, in the case where the ratio of the iron and manganese oxides in the charge is 3/2, magnetic nanoparticles with characteristics close to those of manganese ferrite are formed already at the first stage of the glass preparation, as evidenced by both magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) and EMR. After thermal treatment all glasses show characteristic MCD and EMR spectra, attesting to the presence of magnetic nanoparticles, predominantly including iron ions. Preliminary EXAFS measurements at the Fe K-absorption edge show an emergence of nanoparticles with a structure close to MnFe2O4 after annealing the glasses at 560 °C.By computer simulating the EMR spectra at variable temperatures, a superparamagnetic nature of relatively broad size and shape distribution with the average diameter of ca. 3-4 nm. The characteristic temperature-dependent shift of the apparent resonance field is explained by a strong temperature dependence of the magnetic anisotropy in the nanoparticles.The formation of magnetic nanoparticles confers to the potassium-alumina-borate glasses magnetic and magneto-optical properties typical of magnetically ordered substances. At the same time, they remain transparent in a part of the visible and near infrared spectral range and display a high Faraday rotation value. 相似文献

Possible shapes of high-field magnetisation curves of two-sublattice ferrimagnets are analysed within a model with two anisotropy constants for the subdominant sublattice. The model is relevant to 3d-4f intermetallic compounds. For the purpose of classification the magnetisation curves are regarded as ordered sequences of horizontal, slanted and vertical sections, without reference to quantitative details. Every shape type corresponds to a domain in the plane of relative anisotropy parameters κ1 and κ2. The κ1κ2 diagram proves rather complicated; however, in the limiting cases of very weak or very strong anisotropy (in relation to intersublattice exchange) it takes the same universal form characteristic of simple ferromagnets. 相似文献

This article presents a facile, effective, mild synthesis process for well‐defined hollow spheres by using cationic polystyrene (PS) submicro‐particles as templates. In this approach, the cationic PS templates can be first prepared via emulsifier‐free polymerization by using the cationic monomer 2‐(methacryloyloxy) ethyltrimethylammonium chloride as comonomer, then, the silica shells from the sol‐gel process of tetraethoxysilane were coated on the surfaces of template particles via electrostatic interaction, finally the PS was dissolved in situ by modification of the reaction conditions in the same medium to form monodisperse hollow silica spheres with controlled shell thickness. Fourier transform‐infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscope measurements were used to characterize these hollow silica spheres. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation is analyzed in the case of a configuration involving easy plane isotropy under the influence of a sinusoidally oscillating magnetic field and a demagnetizing field. Through the use of numerical techniques, chaotic behavior is found and analyzed. By reducing the system to a discrete map (numerically), bifurcation diagrams for the system are computed. The system is found to exhibit a period doubling cascade route to chaos, and it obeys certain convergence rules for chaotic transitions outlined by Feigenbaum. A connection is drawn between the route to chaos and the geometry of the system, and comparisons are made with similar systems. Within the chaotic regime, windows of arbitrarily large period are suspected to exist, and explicitly illustrated and discussed for a period three window. 相似文献

Recent experiments [O.M. Auslaender et al., Nat. Phys. 5 (2009) 35] use a magnetic force microscope not only to image but also to move and deform an individual vortex line in a bulk YBCO type-II superconductor. The theory of this experiment is presented accounting for pinning and curving of the vortex and for the full three-dimensional anisotropy of pinning and of vortex line tension in this material. 相似文献
