Self-forming core/shell nanoparticles of magnetic metal/oxide with crystalline grain size of less than 40 nm were synthesized. The nanoparticles were highly concentrated in an insulating matrix to fabricate a nanocomposite, whose magnetic properties were investigated. The crystalline grain size of the nanoparticles strongly influenced the magnetic anisotropy field, magnetic coercivity, relative permeability, and loss factor (tan δ=μ″/μ′) at high frequency. The packing ratio of the magnetic metallic phase in the nanocomposite also influenced those properties. High permeability with low tan δ of less than 1.5% at up to 1 GHz was obtained in the case of the nanoparticles with crystalline grain size of around 15 nm with large packing ratio of the nanoparticles.  相似文献

A tunnel magnetic junction is considered with magnetic hard and magnetic soft layers of cubic symmetry. The magnetic switching of the layers is analyzed for a magnetic field perpendicular to the initial magnetizations. In such a situation, an additional peak in the tunnel magnetoresistance ratio appears at the magnetic field value that is substantially lower than the anisotropy field of the soft layer.  相似文献

Polycrystalline YMn1−xFexO3 (x=0.02-0.20) powders were synthesized by means of modified citrate method. Powder X-ray diffraction gives evidence that all the samples are single phase and exhibit hexagonal structure with P63cm space group as observed for YMnO3. The solubility limit of Fe was determined as about 6 wt.%. Cell parameter values were found to increase with Fe content, since Fe3+ and Mn3+ have the same ionic radii. This can be attributed to the increase of the tilting of MnO5 bipyramid and the buckling of Y atoms. In addition, 57Fe Mössbauer spectrometry provides evidence of two Fe3+ sites attributed to two different nearest atomic neighbours. Magnetic properties reveal a paramagnetic-to-antiferromagnetic transition, a possible increase of the magnetic anisotropy, and a competition between ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The far infrared transmittances and Faraday rotation effect in one-dimensional photonic crystals that contain magnetic microcavities are calculated with the transfer matrix method. The different stacking sequences of dielectric layers in the magnetic photonic crystal are considered in this paper, and the linewidths of transmission peaks and localised light of the photonic crystals are discussed. The enhancement of Faraday rotation is presented in the magnetic photonic crystals, and the largest rotation angle at the frequency of the transmission peak is 29 °mm−1, which is larger than previous results.  相似文献

Nanostructured Fe1−xSix (x=0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2) powders are prepared by different multi-step milling and annealing treatments. The microstructure and magnetic properties are investigated for all alloys. The minimum crystallite size of as-annealed powders (∼40 nm) is found to be larger than in as-milled ones (∼15 nm). It is found that microstrains of 2- and 4-step processes are close to those of the as-received powders. The lattice parameter decreased ∼0.5% and 0.9% for the powders that experienced milling and annealing at the last step, respectively. The Fe80Si20 powders prepared by 1- and 4-step treatments show the maximum (40-125 Oe) and minimum (20-26 Oe) coercivity, respectively. With increase in milling time, mass magnetization increased for all processes. This can be ascribed to diminution in magneto-crystalline anisotropy due to grain refinement. The maximum mass magnetization (160-199 Am2/kg) is achieved for the 4-step process.  相似文献

Industrially unfavorable process of steel surface decarburization was induced by annealing in air. Two methods of after-anneal surface treatment were used: an acid pickling and a sand blasting. The obtained decarburized layers were examined by optical microscope, wave dispersive spectrometer, and surface X-ray diffraction method. Magnetic Barkhausen noise technique was tested for applicability of non-destructive characterization of the decarburized layer depth. A newly introduced parameter, Barkhausen noise coercivity, was proposed for practical use due to its sensitivity to decarburization and stability to measurement conditions. Other magnetic parameters, e.g. number of Barkhausen noise counts, were found to be sensitive to the compressive residual stress caused by the sand blasting.  相似文献

I studied the ferrimagnetic Ising model with nearest neighbour interactions for a square lattice and simple cubic one, using mean field theory. The free energy of a mixed spin Ising ferrimagnetic model was calculated from a mean field approximation of the Hamiltonian. By minimizing the free energy, I obtained the equilibrium magnetizations and the compensation temperatures. Clear indications of the single-ion anisotropies on the compensation points of the mixed spin-3/2 and spin-5/2 ferrimagnetic lattices are found. Some interesting behaviors of these systems are obtained depending not only on the values of magnetic anisotropies for both sublattice sites but also on the lattice structure. The longitudinal magnetic fields dependence of the spin compensation temperature is the main focus of research. The possibility of many compensation temperatures is indicated.  相似文献

The effect of Cr doping on magnetic and electrical properties in the bilayer manganites La1.4Sr1.6(Mn1−yCry)2O7 (y=0-0.1) has been investigated. When y≤0.025, Cr doping enhances the three-dimensional magnetic transition temperature TC and the insulator-metal transition temperature TIM as well as decreases the peak resistivity at TIM, and the saturated magnetization decreases slightly. When y≥0.035, TIM decreases gradually accompanied by the increase of peak resistivity, but TC remains nearly constant, and the saturated magnetization decreases heavily. In the whole doping region, the two-dimensional magnetic transition temperature T? monotonously decreases with an increasing of Cr doping level. These results can be explained by considering different magnetic (including ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic) interactions between Mn ions and Cr ions.  相似文献

MCu2O3 (M=Ca and Co) system has two-leg spin ladder structure similar to that of the prototype SrCu2O3 system except that the rungs are buckled with an angle of 123° and 105° for CaCu2O3 and CoCu2O3 compounds, respectively. We have synthesized powder samples of (Ca1−xCox)Cu2O3 (x=0.00-1.00) by the solid state reaction method and their structural and magnetic properties have been investigated. All the synthesized compounds crystallize in orthorhombic structure with space group Pmmn. Lattice parameters of (Ca1−xCox)Cu2O3 decrease with the increase in Co content. DC magnetic susceptibility χ(T) results of the end products CaCu2O3 and CoCu2O3 show antiferromagnetic transition (TN) at 27 and 215 K, respectively. Co doping into (Ca1−xCox)Cu2O3 enhances its TN systematically with increasing Co concentration. The χ(T) of CoCu2O3 shows a broad transition with the peak temperature around 215 K and it was found to be field independent up to 90 kOe. The ambiguity concerning the transition was ruled out by recording the temperature dependent X-ray diffraction pattern on CoCu2O3 system, which indicated that there is no structural transition in the investigated temperature range of 115-300 K. Further, specific heat measurement on CoCu2O3 confirms the magnetic phase transition by the appearance of a sharp peak at 215 K.  相似文献

Strontium hexaferrite SrFe12O19 thin films have been synthesized at different pH, adjusted by NH4OH, on the Si (1 0 0) substrate using a spin coating sol-gel process. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis and theoretical calculations were conducted for determination and controlling metal citrates in solution precursors. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer were applied to evaluate the composition, microstructure, crystallite size and magnetic properties of the SrFe12O19 thin films. Using the solution with pH 7, the approximately single phase strontium hexaferrite thin films with optimum physical properties can be obtained at calcination temperature of 800 °C. The SrFe12O19 thin films derived from the solution with pH 7 after calcination at 800 °C exhibited crystallite size of 42 nm and magnetic properties of Ms=267 emu/cm3 (at 10 kOe), Mr=134 emu/cm3 and Hc=4290 Oe.  相似文献
