We have investigated the magnetic, electrical transport and electron spin resonance (ESR) properties of polycrystalline Nd0.85Na0.15MnO3 prepared by sol–gel method. A ferromagnetic–paramagnetic (FM–PM) transition is observed around 110 K, which is not accompanied by a metal–insulator transition. The sample displays the complete PM state associated with the ESR spectra fitted by single Lorentzian line shape above 130 K. Below 130 K, ESR spectra become distorted and then linewidth increases rapidly, where short-range magnetic order develops and coexists with PM phase due to the inhomogeneous magnetic state. In addition, the large difference between the activation energies obtained from the resistivity and ESR parameters (peak-to-peak linewidth and line intensity) at the frame of adiabatic small polaron hopping model is pointed out for Nd0.85Na0.15MnO3.  相似文献

The double neutron/proton ratio of nucleon emissions taken from two reaction systems using four isotopes of the same element, namely, the neutron/proton ratio in the neutron-rich system over that in the more symmetric system, has the advantage of reducing systematically the influence of the Coulomb force and the normally poor efficiencies of detecting low energy neutrons. The double ratio thus suffers less systematic errors. Within the IBUU04 transport model the double neutron/proton ratio is shown to have about the same sensitivity to the density dependence of nuclear symmetry energy as the single neutron/proton ratio in the neutron-rich system involved. The double neutron/proton ratio is therefore more useful for further constraining the symmetry energy of neutron-rich matter.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for controlling interactions between Rydberg-excited neutral atoms in order to perform a fast high-fidelity quantum gate. Unlike dipole-blockade mechanisms already found in the literature, we drive resonantly the atoms with a state-dependent excitation to Rydberg levels, and we exploit the resulting dipole-dipole interaction to induce a controlled atomic motion in the trap, in a similar way as discussed in recent ion-trap quantum computing proposals. This leads atoms to gain the required gate phase, which turns out to be a combination of a dynamic and a geometrical contribution. The fidelity of this scheme is studied including small anharmonicity and temperature effects, with promising results for reasonably achievable experimental parameters.  相似文献

The magnetic behavior of the Sr0.3 manganite is studied using a local microprobe, 57Co. In contrast with Ca substituted manganites, a much larger fraction of the material exhibits short-range order with superparamagnetic-like behavior even at 80 K. The differences in behavior are attributed to the large mismatch between the ionic radii of La+3 and the divalent substituent Sr+2, which introduces anharmonicity in local vibrations. In common with all other compounds exhibiting negative bulk magnetoresistivity, the Sr0.3 compound also exhibits very marked softening of lattice as one approaches Tc from below. Application of an external magnetic field results in coalescing of nanosized magnetic clusters to form larger ones with better alignment of spins.  相似文献

In this study, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Pr0.68Ca0.32−xSrxMnO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.18, 0.26 and 0.32) compounds were investigated. X-ray results indicated that all the samples have a single phase of orthorhombic symmetry. The orthorhombic unit cell parameters increase with the increase in Sr content. Large negative magnetic entropy changes (−26.2 J/kg K at 38 K and 5 T for x=0 and −6.5 J/kg K at 83 K and 6 T for x=0.1) were attributed to ultrasharp metamagnetic transitions. The peak value of ΔSm decreased from −4.1 J/kg K for x=0.18 sample to −2.4 J/kg K for x=0.32 at 1 T magnetic field.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement an unconventional geometric phase gate in circuit QED, i.e. two superconducting charge qubits inside a superconducting transmission line resonator. We have studied RMnO3 manganites (R = Pr, Sm, Eu, Tb, Y) Raman excitations in the 200–2800 cm-1 range as a function of temperature. Combinations of phonon energies are observed up to the fourth order, indicating the presence of electron-phonon coupling. In comparison to Γ-point phonon combinations, double phonon excitations appear to be blue shifted in large size rare earth ion compounds. The phonon combination intensities decrease rapidly with their increasing order, confirming other studies which conclude that the electron-phonon coupling is not as strong as supposed in the localized limit. Moreover, different intensity order dependences are observed between the phonon combination and the so-called Jahn-Teller mode. These effects are better described in the orbiton-phonon coupling scheme.  相似文献

We study the properties of eigenstates of an operating quantum computer which simulates the dynamical evolution in the regime of quantum chaos. Even if the quantum algorithm is polynomial in number of qubits nq, it is shown that the ideal eigenstates become mixed and strongly modified by static imperfections above a certain threshold which drops exponentially with nq. Above this threshold the quantum eigenstate entropy grows linearly with nq but the computation remains reliable during a time scale which is polynomial in the imperfection strength and in nq. La0.7Ce0.3MnO3 epitaxial films were successfully fabricated via a pulsed laser deposition method by controlling the experimental conditions. A series of experiments with varying the oxygen pressure and the substrate temperature demonstrated that the use of appropriate conditions is crucial for fabricating the epitaxial thin films. The existence of such suitable conditions was thermodynamically interpreted in terms of the stability of Mn2+ ion. Both XRD and EPMA measurements indicated that La0.7Ce0.3MnO3 thin films fabricated herein form single phases, although it was difficult to present the direct experimental evidence to prove that Ce ion can really exist within the perovskite structure. The resultant films with oxygen annealing showed a metal-insulator transition and ferromagnetic property with Curie temperature of 275 K.  相似文献
