We prove identities between integrated Ursell functions and derivatives of the pressure in the thermodynamic limit, for multicomponent classical spin systems which obey the Lee-Yang theorem and some form of Gaussian domination, when the susceptibility is finite (T>T c). Following Refs. 3 and 4, we view the moment generating function of the magnetization as the inverse of an infinitely divisible characteristic function. Fluctuation susceptibility relations of all orders then follow by bounding the corresponding cumulants, taken in zero external field. High-order cumulants are bounded in terms of the susceptibility using Gaussian and Simon's inequalities for short-range interactions.  相似文献

We describe the construction of a collection of quadrature formulae suitable for the efficient discretization of certain boundary integral equations on a very general class of two-dimensional domains with corner points. The resulting quadrature rules allow for the rapid high-accuracy solution of Dirichlet boundary value problems for Laplace’s equation and the Helmholtz equation on such domains under a mild assumption on the boundary data. Our approach can be adapted to other boundary value problems and certain aspects of our scheme generalize to the case of surfaces with singularities in three dimensions. The performance of the quadrature rules is illustrated with several numerical examples.  相似文献

In this paper we study blow-up rates and the blow-up profiles of possible asymptotically self-similar singularities of the Euler and the Navier-Stokes equations, where the sense of convergence and self-similarity are considered in various generalized senses. We improve substantially, in particular, the previous nonexistence results of self-similar/asymptotically self-similar singularities. Generalization of the self-similar transforms is also considered, and by appropriate choice of the parameterized transform we obtain new a priori estimates for the Euler and the Navier-Stokes equations depending on a free parameter.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate some new properties of the incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations by studying a 3D model for axisymmetric 3D incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations with swirl. The 3D model is derived by reformulating the axisymmetric 3D incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations and then neglecting the convection term of the resulting equations. Some properties of this 3D model are reviewed. Finally, some potential features of the incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations such as the stabilizing effect of the convection are presented.  相似文献

The methods of [vdP-Sa, vdP1, vdP2] are applied to the fourth Painlevé equation. One obtains a Riemann–Hilbert correspondence between moduli spaces of rank two connections on ?1 and moduli spaces for the monodromy data. The moduli spaces for these connections are identified with Okamoto–Painlevé varieties and the Painlevé property follows. For an explicit computation of the full group of Bäcklund transformations, rank three connections on ?1 are introduced, inspired by the symmetric form for PIV, studied by M. Noumi and Y. ABSTRACT

The purpose of this work is to present results about the composition of Fourier integral operators with certain singularities, for which the composition is not again a Fourier integral operator. The singularities considered here are folds and blowdowns. We prove that for such operators, the Schwartz kernel of F*F belongs to a class of distributions associated to two cleanly intersection Lagrangians. Such Fourier integral operators appear in integral geometry, inverse acoustic scattering theory and Synthetic Aperture Radar imaging, where the composition calculus can be used as a tool for finding approximate inversion formulas and for recovering images.  相似文献
