Entanglement Evolution of a 2-Qutrit System Interacting with a Fermionic Bath

Based on the algebraic entanglement measure proposed [G. Vidal et al., Phys. Rev. A 65 (2002) 032314],we study the entanglement evolution of both pure quantum states and mixed ones of 2-qutrit system in a symmetrybroken environment consisting of a fermionic bath. Entanglement of states will decrease or remain constant under the influence of environment, and the class of states which remain unchanged has been found out.     

1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic study of oxidation of D,L‐cystine and 3,3′‐dithiobis(propionic acid) with hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution

The oxidation of symmetrical disulfides [D ,L ‐cystine ( 1 ) and 3,3′‐dithiobis(propionic acid) ( 2 )] with hydrogen peroxide in D₂O–NaOH solution (pH 10–11) was studied by NMR spectroscopy. Assignments of the proton and carbon NMR signals of starting materials ( 1 and 2 ) and products of oxidation are based on conventional 1D NMR methods (DEPT, selective spin decoupling). Formation of C—S bond cleavage products or, in case of 2 , partially oxidized intermediates was not detected. The accelerating effect of Cu²⁺ cations, but not Fe³⁺ cations, on the oxidation rate of 1 in basic medium was demonstrated. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Stationary entanglement between macroscopic mechanical oscillators

We show that the optomechanical coupling between an optical cavity mode and two movable cavity mirrors is able to entangle two different macroscopic oscillation modes of the mirrors. This continuous variable entanglement is maintained by the light bouncing between the mirrors and is robust against thermal noise. Synthesis of thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine and quinazoline derivatives from monothiooxamides

A method for syntheses of previously unknown derivatives of thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidines and quinazolines from monothiooxamides was proposed.     

三苯甲基自由基及其二聚体稳定性的理论研究

采用量子化学AM1 MO方法优化了三苯甲基自由基及其两种二聚体的构型，并计算了反应物和二聚物的生成焓、活化能以及它们的电荷布居，计算结果表明，三苯甲基自由基是一种较稳定的自由基，在这个自由基中存在明显的共轭效应，分子中电子云呈平均化分布．它的二聚体1，4—环己二烯衍生物分子中的5个苯基排布在环己二烯环平面的两端，明显降低了苯基之间的空间排斥力，使二聚物—环己二烯衍生物分子的稳定性大大高于六苯乙烷．因此，三苯甲基自由基的二聚体是1，4—环己二烯衍生物而不是六苯基乙烷，得到了与实验事实一致的结果。     

一种有机电致发光共聚物的制备和性能

采用Suzuki方法合成了9，9-二辛基芴与萘并硒二唑的两种无规共聚物并研究了其紫外光谱、光致发光和电致发光性能。两种聚合物的电致发光波长为650～666nm，均为发饱和红光的LED材料，其电致发光外量子效率最高达到了1．05％。随着共聚物中萘并硒二唑含量的增加，共聚物的光致发光和电致发光的发射波长均有少量红移。证明了根据共轭高聚物链内能量转移原理，在聚芴链中引入不同含量的窄带隙杂环单元可实现对聚芴发光颜色的调节。     

Vanadium(III) chloride catalyzed Biginelli condensation: solution phase library generation of dihydropyrimidin-(2H)-ones

The three component condensation of an aldehyde, a β-keto ester and urea (thiourea) in the presence of a catalytic amount of VCl₃ is disclosed for the solution phase synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones. The ease of synthesis and work-up allowed the parallel synthesis of a 48-membered library of dihydropyrimidinones quickly and efficiently in good yields.     

Cauchy problems for linear thermoelastic systems of type III in one space variable

The goal of the paper is to analyse properties of solutions for linear thermoelastic systems of type III in one space variable. Our approach does not use energy methods, it bases on a special diagonalization procedure which is different in different parts of the phase space. This procedure allows to derive explicit representations of solutions. These representations help to prove results for well‐posedness of the Cauchy problem, L^P–L^q decay estimates on the conjugate line and results for propagation of singularities. Synthesis and conformational investigation of tetrapeptide analogues of the fragment B23-B26 of insulin

Tetrapeptides containing one of a set of four different α,α-dialkyl glycines at the C-terminus were synthesized by conventional methods in solution and their conformational behavior investigated by ¹H NMR spectroscopy in connection with molecular mechanics calculations. The results were consistent with conformations stabilized by a γ-turn in the case of compounds with alkyl groups larger than methyl, while the corresponding Aib derivative did not exhibit intramolecular hydrogen bonding.
