Band Theory in the Context of the Hamilton-Jacobi Formulation

In the one-dimensional periodic potential case, we formulate the condition of Bloch periodicity for the reduced action by using the relation between the wave function and the reduced action established in the context of the equivalence postulate of quantum mechanics. Then, without appealing to the wave function properties, we reproduce the well-known dispersion relations which predict the band structure for the energy spectrum in the Krönig-Penney model.     

The Singularity of Kontsevich’s Solution for QH<Superscript>*</Superscript>(CP<Superscript>2</Superscript>)

In this paper we study the nature of the singularity of the Kontsevichs solution of the WDVV equations of associativity. We prove that it corresponds to a singularity in the change of two coordinates systems of the Frobenius manifold given by the quantum cohomology of CP². Dark Multi-Soliton Solution of the Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation with Non-Vanishing Boundary

The inverse scattering transform for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in normal dispersion with non-vanishing boundary values is re-examined using an affine parameter to avoid double-valued functions. An operable algebraic procedure is developed to evaluate dark multi-soliton solutions. The dark two-soliton solution is given explicitly as an example, and is verified by direct substitution. The additional motion of the soliton center is given by its asymptotic behavior.     

An Example of Embedded Singular Continuous Spectrum for One-Dimensional Schrödinger Operators

We present a new example of a potential such that the corresponding Schrödinger operator in the halfaxis has singular continuous spectrum embedded in the absolutely continuous spectrum. The singular part is supported in an essentialy dense set. This generalizes a result of C. Remling [3].Mathematics Subject Classification: 34L40, 81Q10.     

Nonexistence of H Theorem for Some Lattice Boltzmann Models

In this paper, we provide a set of sufficient conditions under which a lattice Boltzmann model does not admit an H theorem. By verifying the conditions, we prove that a number of existing lattice Boltzmann models does not admit an H theorem. These models include D2Q6, D2Q9 and D3Q15 athermal models, and D2Q16 and D3Q40 thermal (energy-conserving) models. The proof does not require the equilibria to be polynomials.     

The Stationary Nonlinear Boltzmann Equation in a Couette Setting with Multiple, Isolated L q -solutions and Hydrodynamic Limits

This paper studies the stationary nonlinear Boltzmann equation for hard forces, in a Couette setting between two coaxial, rotating cylinders with given indata of Maxwellian type on the cylinders. A priori estimates are obtained mainly in L², leading to multiple, isolated solutions together with a hydrodynamic limit control, based on asymptotic expansions together with a rest term.     

Hamilton–Jacobi Quantization of Singular Lagrangians with Linear Velocities

In this paper, constrained Hamiltonian systems with linear velocities are investigated by using the Hamilton–Jacobi method. The integrablity conditions are considered on the equations of motion and the action function as well in order to obtain the path integral quantization of singular Lagrangians with linear velocities.     

光纤中单光子传输方程的求解及分析

量子信息在光纤中传输时,会受到光纤损耗、色散、非线性效应等多因素的影响,将产生传输态的演化与能量转移.本文以单模光纤传输方程以及电磁场量子化理论为基础,对单模光纤中基模模场进行量子化处理,推导并建立了考虑损耗、色散、非线性效应后的单光子传输方程.基于微扰法对单光子非线性传输方程进行了求解,给出了稳定解存在的必要条件及其所满足的色散方程.深入讨论了广域光功率随微扰频率的变化关系,并且分析了光纤色散、非线性效应对解的影响.为量子光纤传输系统性能的深入研究奠定了理论基础.     

Integrability and Solutions of the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter–Saxton Equation

In this paper,the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter-Saxton equation is proposed and studied.It is shown that the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter–Saxton equation can be transformed to the Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation by reciprocal transformations.Based on the Lax-pair of the Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation,a non-isospectral Lax-pair of the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter–Saxton equation is derived.In addition,exact singular solutions with a finite number of corners are obtained.Furthermore,the(2+1)-dimensional μ-Hunter–Saxton equation is presented,and its exact peaked traveling wave solutions are derived.     

Van der Waals状态方程可压缩多流体流动的PPM方法

基于流体体积分数的混合型多流体数值模型,将Piecewise Parabolic Method（PPM）方法应用于可压缩多流体流动的数值模拟,采用双波近似求解多流体van der Waals状态方程的Riemann问题．模拟高密度比且含有激波的可压缩多流体流动,典型的纯界面平移问题模拟结果表明,在接触间断的界面附近,压力和速度没有任何的振荡且界面数值耗散都被控制在2—3个网格之内;一维和二维算例表明,该数值方法可以有效地处理接触间断、激波和多维滑移线等物理问题,并能够比其它多流体数值方法更精细地模拟多流体交界面．
