The definition of objective and effective thresholds in MRI of human brain function is a crucial step in the analysis of paradigm-related activations. This paper introduces a user-independent and robust procedure that calculates statistical parametric maps based on correlation coefficients. Thresholds are introduced as p values and defined with respect to the physiologic noise distribution of the individual maps. Experimental examples from the human visual and motor system rely on dynamic acquisitions of gradient-echo echo-planar images (2.0 T, TR = 2000 ms, 96 × 128 matrix) with blood oxygenation level-dependent contrast. The results demonstrate the disadvantages of thresholding with fixed correlation coefficients. In contrast, taking the individual noise into account allows for a derivation of p values and a reliable identification of highly significant activation centers. An adequate delineation of the spatial extent of activation may be achieved by adding directly neighboring pixels provided their correlation coefficients comply with a second lower p value threshold.  相似文献

由于二维最大熵分割法不仅考虑了像素的灰度信息,而且还充分利用了像素的空间邻域信息,因此能够取得较好的分割效果.但是,该方法的计算量巨大,不利于红外图像的快速处理.蚁群算法于20世纪90年代初提出,是受到蚁群集体行为的启发而提出的一种基于种群的模拟进化算法,属于随机搜索算法.该算法已经成功应用于旅行商等离散问题.将蚁群算法应用于二维最大熵法,提出了基于蚁群算法的二维最大熵分割算法.与传统的穷尽搜索法相比,求解速度提高了60倍左右.仿真实验表明,该方法快速、简单、有效.  相似文献

The charge transfer between H and a free-electron vicinal metallic surface is studied using a wave-packet propagation method. We apply a statistical Thomas-Fermi-von Weizsäcker model with a local density approximation for the exchange-correlation energy to compute the ground-state electronic structure of the substrate. The long-range image charge effects in the electron transfer are included on a phenomenological level. We obtain the ion-survival probability from a rate equation for a set of realistic scattering trajectories of projectiles that are incident with a kinetic energy of 50 eV. Our calculations reveal a pronounced substrate orientation dependence of the charge transfer dynamics expressed in a “left-right” (or “step-up-step-down”) scattering asymmetry in the final ion-survival probability, which is caused by an enhancement of electron loss on the outgoing part of those ion trajectories which approach steps from below.  相似文献

A cascaded Fresnel digital hologram (CFDH) is proposed, together with its mathematical derivation. Its application to watermarking has been demonstrated by a simulation procedure, in which the watermark image to be hidden is encoded into the phase of the host image. The watermark image can be deciphered by the CFDH setup, the reconstructed image shows good quality and the error is almost closed to zeros. Compared with previous technique, this is a lensless architecture, which minimizes the hardware requirement.  相似文献

Automatic fringe pattern analysis is a powerful and inexpensive digital image-processing technique. Two-beam polarizing interference Pluta microscope [Pluta M. Opt Acta 1971;18:661, Pluta M. J Microsc 1972;96:309] is automated by the computer-aid via CCD camera and digital frame grabber. Software program is prepared to deal with the duplicated (separated and overlapped) Microinterferograms produced by two-beam polarizing microscope. It also gives an accurate and fast automatic measurement of refractive index and birefringence profiles for fibres. In this paper, the refractive index and birefringence profiles of two different types of fibres, basalt and polypropylene (PP) fibres are presented. A new method to determine the birefringence profile of fibres from non-duplicated microinterferogram is suggested. The cold drawing process for PP fibres is studied.  相似文献

一种基于梯度算子和拉普拉斯算子检测医学基因芯片荧光数字图像边缘的方法.数字图像经过图像增强等预处理以后,突出了我们感兴趣的数字图像特征,根据数字图像灰度变化的趋势,用灰度变化的一阶导数(梯度算子)检测图象中的边缘区域;用灰度变化的二阶导数确定图像边缘的中心位置.最后根据某些预定的准则把满足这些准则的象素组成一条边缘.  相似文献

We demonstrate a novel method to modify the mask-filtering approach by enlarging the gray-level difference of any two nearby pixels in an image. Derivatives are calculated in different directions respectively instead of isotropically. Some higher spatial frequencies are then selectively magnified. The final image has better sharpened fine characteristics than that enhanced by the conventional technique.  相似文献

In this paper, the root mean square (rms) technique is applied in order to reduce the non-coherent noise in phase-contrast image. The proposed technique is applied to a sample of 200 μm step height nominally. The recorded off-axis interferograms generated from two different wavelengths are processed to obtain an object wave (amplitude and phase) for each wavelength separately. The independent phase maps are subtracted and a phase map for the beat-wavelength is obtained and converted to height map. The rms values of 10 pixels profiles from the obtained height map are calculated automatically to show the three-dimensional (3D) profile. The experimental results show that the non-coherent noise is reduced by the order of 90% when the rms technique is applied and the uncertainty in measurement has been found to be of the order of 1.5 μm. The proposed technique can provide a simple and real solution for measuring 3D objects having high abrupt height difference.  相似文献
