The Fixed Point of a Generalization of the Renormalization Group Maps for Self-Avoiding Paths on Gaskets

Examples of the 2 dimensional map Φ: (x,y)↦ (X(x,y),Y(x,y)) satisfying the conditions are the renormalization group (RG) maps (modulo change of variables) for the restricted self-avoiding paths on the 3 and 4 dimensional pre-gaskets. 动态冰浆传热特性的研究

动态冰浆由于具有较强的蓄能和传热能力,日益受到人们的重视。文中建立了动态冰浆传热特性的数理模型,并利用已知的载流溶液和冰晶的物性参数,得到了动态冰浆在水平直管、等热流加热条件下的传热系数,根据计算结果,分析了传热系数随着冰浆浓度的变化的规律和冰浆流速和管径对动态冰浆传热性能的影响。

叙述微通道板的噪声,着重介绍微通道板固定图案噪声及其简便新颖而又实用的一种测试方法,给出测试结果并进行分析。     

Viscosity approximation methods for nonexpansive multimaps in Banach spaces

We prove strong convergence of the viscosity approximation process for nonexpansive nonself multimaps. Furthermore, an explicit iteration process which converges strongly to a fixed point of multimap T is constructed. It is worth mentioning that, unlike other authors, we do not impose the condition ＂Tz = {z}＂ on the map T.     

Fixed point properties of semigroups of nonexpansive mappings

We prove that if H is a Hilbert space then the Schatten (trace) class operators on H has the weak^∗ fixed point property for left reversible semigroups. This answered positively a problem raised by A.T.-M. Lau. We also prove that if M is a finite von Neumann algebra then any nonempty bounded convex subset of the non-commutative L¹-space associated to M that is compact for the measure topology has the fixed point property for left reversible semigroups.     

Semi-free actions of zero-dimensional compact groups on Menger compacta

Let be the -dimensional universal Menger compactum, a -set in and a metrizable zero-dimensional compact group with the unit. It is proved that there exists a semi-free -action on such that is the fixed point set of every . As a corollary, it follows that each compactum with can be embedded in as the fixed point set of some semi-free -action on .

     

Anticanonical Rational Surfaces

A determination of the fixed components, base points and irregularity is made for arbitrary numerically effective divisors on any smooth projective rational surface having an effective anticanonical divisor. All of the results are proven over an algebraically closed field of arbitrary characteristic. Applications, to be treated in separate papers, include questions involving: points in good position, birational models of rational surfaces in projective space, and resolutions for 0-dimensional subschemes of defined by complete ideals.

Galerkin method for a Stefan-type problem in one space dimension

Based on a Landau-type transformation, both continuous and discrete in time L²-Galerkin methods are applied to a single-phase Stefan-type problem in one space dimension.
