We investigate the entanglement of the three-qubit Heisenberg XXX chain in the presence of impurity and obtain the analytical expressions of the concurrence C. It is found that for impurity entanglement, C appears only when J1 > J for J > 0, and J1 > 0 for J < 0, and in these two regions C increases with the increase of J1, so is the critical temperature Tc. When J1 >>|J| , C reaches its maximum value 0.5 and Tc reaches the asymptotic value Tc = 3.41448J1. For entanglement between the normal lattices, C appears only when J > 0 and 2J < J1 < J, and initially increases with the increase of J1 and arrives at the maximum value Cmax = (e4JIT-3)/(e4JIT+3) before it decays to zero gradually, so is the critical temperature Tc with, however, the maximum value Tcmax = 4J/ln3.  相似文献

Staring from a discrete matrix spectral problem, a hierarchy of lattice soliton equations is presented though discrete zero curvature representation. The resulting lattice soliton equations possess non-local Lax pairs. The Hamiltonian structures are established for the resulting hierarchy by the discrete trace identity. Quantum teleportation is investigated by using the entangled states of two-qubit Heisenberg XX chain in an external uniform magnetic field as resources in the model of Milburn's intrinsic decoherence. Though intrinsic decoherence on quantum entanglement and quantum teleportation exerts different effects in different initial systems, proper magnetic fields and probabilities of different eigenstates in the initial states can weaken the effects.  相似文献

We analyze the forgotten communication of Ettore Majorana (1906–1938?) on the Thomas-Fermi statistical model of the atom, which he presented on December 29, 1928, during the XXII General Meeting of the Italian Physical Society in Rome, and which was published in Il Nuovo Cimento, the Society’s journal, in 1929. His communication was not mentioned subsequently in any of the numerous publications of Enrico Fermi (1901–1954) and his group in Rome, nor in any of the later accounts of Majorana’s life and work. We place Majorana’s contribution within the context of contemporary research on the subject, point out its influence on the final formulation of the Thomas-Fermi statistical model by Fermi and Edoardo Amaldi (1908–1989) in 1934, and discuss Majorana’s other scientific contributions before his mysterious disappearance in 1938. Francesco Guerra is Professor of Theoretical Physics in the Department of Physics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” His main fields of research are quantum-field theory, statistical mechanics of complex systems, and the history of nuclear physics. Nadia Robotti is Professor of History of Physics in the Department of Physics at the University of Genoa. We investigate the Wigner distribution function of the general time-dependent quadratic-Hamiltonian quantum system with the Lewis–Riesenfeld invariant operator method. The Wigner distribution function of the system in Fock state, coherent state, squeezed state, and thermal state are derived. We consider simulations of a two-dimensional gas of hard disks in a rectangular container and study the Lyapunov spectrum near the vanishing Lyapunov exponents. To this spectrum are associated eigen-directions, called Lyapunov modes. We carefully analyze these modes and show how they are naturally associated with vector fields over the container. We also show that the Lyapunov exponents, and the coupled dynamics of the modes (where it exists) follow linear laws, whose coefficients only depend on the density of the gas, but not on aspect ratio and very little on the boundary conditions.  相似文献

Large-scale fluctuations predicted by the holographic principle may be derived from the quantum mechanics of spin. As holographic theories, quantum mechanics and general relativity in quaternionic bases are formally similar.
