Copolyfluorenes PFG1~PFG4 slightly doped with 0.006–0.5 mol % of 2,5‐dihexyloxy‐1,4‐bis(2‐phenyl‐2‐cyanovinyl)benzene (green chromophore) were synthesized by the Suzuki coupling reaction to be evaluated as hosts for white‐light electroluminescent (EL) devices. Their optical, thermal and electrochemical properties were almost identical to those of polyfluorene ( PF ) due to minimal chromophore content. However, the electroluminescent (EL) spectra of the PFGn were very different from photoluminescence spectra in film state. Relative intensity of green emission (ca. 521 nm) in EL spectra are much stronger than those in PL spectra, which can be attributed to charges trapping in the chromophores due to its narrow band gap (Eg ≈ 2.56 eV). The performance of EL devices [ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer/Ca (50 nm)/Al (100 nm)] were improved with an increase in chromophore content. The PFG4 device revealed the best performance (6790 cd/m2, 1.69 cd/A), and the PFG1 and PFG2 devices exhibited comparable intensity in blue and green emissions. Blend EL devices were fabricated by using the PFGn as the hosts and a red iridium complex [Ir(piq)2(acac)] as dopant. By controlling the amount of the iridium complex, the white‐light emitting device was achieved with PFG2 , with maximum brightness and CIE coordinate being 4120 cd/m2 and (0.31, 0.28), respectively. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, linear time-invariant single-input single-output (SISO) systems that are stabilizable by linear proportional and integral (PI) compensators are considered. For such systems, a five-parameter nonlinear PI compensator is proposed. The parameters of the proposed compensator are tuned by solving an optimization problem. The optimization problem always has a solution.Additionally, a general nonlinear PI compensator is proposed and is approximated by easy-to-compute compensators, for instance, a six-parameter nonlinear PI compensator. The parameters of the approximate compensators are tuned to satisfy an optimality condition. The superiority of the proposed nonlinear PI compensators over linear PI compensators is discussed and is demonstrated for two feedback systems.  相似文献

The large hadron collider (LHC) should have the ability to detect supersymmetric particles if low-energy supersymmetry solves the hierarchy problem. Studies of the LHC detection reach, and the ability to measure properties of supersymmetric particles are currently underway. We highlight some of these, such as the reach in minimal supergravity space and correlation with a fine-tuning parameter, precision measurements of edge variables, anomaly or gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. Supersymmetry with baryon-number violation seems at first glance more difficult to detect, but proves to be possible by using leptons from cascade decays.  相似文献

报道了基于掺氧化镁准周期极化铌酸锂(MgO:QPLN)的多光参量振荡器电场调谐特性理论与实验研究. 通过对电场调谐能力与极化结构参数间关联性的理论分析, 确定了高正负晶畴比MgO:QPLN电场调谐的可行性, 并模拟得到跨周期参量光输出波长与加载电压的关系曲线. 实验中通过对MgO:QPLN有效的电场加载, 实现了3.84 μm波段参量光的电场调谐, 频谱调谐带宽约6 nm, 调谐速率接近1 nm/kV, 进一步结合温度调谐, 实现了参量光宽谱段高精度的连续调谐. 所获得实验结果与理论模拟结果基本符合, 电场调谐在精度控制、快速响应方面相比于传统温度调谐更具技术优势.  相似文献

We report upconversion multicolor tuning based on uniform β-NaYF4:Yb/Tm/Er nanoparticles. The as-synthesized nanoparticles with an average diameter of 25 nm are well dispersed in a wide range of nonpolar solvents including hexane, cyclohexane, dichloromethane, and toluene. These nanoparticles show intense upconversion emissions and the color output can be precisely modulated by adjusting activator ratios of Tm3+ to Er3+. Dopant-concentration dependent emission properties of the triply doped particle system are also investigated. In addition, we demonstrate that these nanoparticles can be readily transferred to polar solvents such as ethanol and water by growing a thin silica layer (10 nm) around the particles, providing potential applications in biological labeling and imaging.  相似文献

The energy gap between valence and conduction levels in colloidal semiconductor quantum dots can be tuned via the nanoparticle diameter when this is comparable to or less than the Bohr radius. In materials such as cadmium mercury telluride, which readily forms a single phase ternary alloy, this quantum confinement tuning can also be augmented by compositional tuning, which brings a further degree of freedom in the bandgap engineering. Here it is shown that compositional control of 2.3 nm diameter CdxHg(1?x)Te nanocrystals by exchange of Hg2+ in place of Cd2+ ions can be used to tune their optical properties across a technologically useful range, from 500 nm to almost 1200 nm. Data on composition‐dependent changes in the optical properties are provided, including bandgap, extinction coefficient, emission energy and spectral shape, Stokes shift, quantum efficiency, and radiative lifetimes as the exchange process occurs, which are highly relevant for those seeking to use these technologically important QD materials.  相似文献
